A hotel I am proud to recommend”

This hotel is clean, modern, and is in a convenient location to all local attractions.

the chalet baguio is just a moderate walk from the victory liner terminal. because baguio is hilly, i would not recommend anyone walk there with their luggage, but it is well located to explore the things around the terminal after getting settled. a walk to sm city baguio and camp john hay are also possible. the hotel itself is about a year old, very clean and modern. the staff is friendly and helpful. a hot water heater is located in the shower, although the sink only has cold water. transportation by taxi or jeepney is readily available for modest fares. a number of good shopping and dining venues are close by. there are several choices for the free breakfast, both western and filipino. the food is good, but not generous. the chalet baguio is certainly a value for the price. i will stay there again the next time we visit baguio.

lovely hotel and service with a smile”

      great staff, location

Loved our stay in this small yet lovely hotel. The location was great. It was peaceful and quiet, away from the busy streets of downtown area and main road (Session Road). But, it was a walking distance to Victory Liner terminal, SM Baguio, to some restaurants and bar like Mario's restaurant, Urban Sessions (w/ live band) and Nevada Square (for party peeps). so no need to worry to look for a cab during nightouts. Taxi fare going to SM baguio costs less than 50 pesos only. Location is also near to some tourists attractions in Baguio like Panagbenga Park, Baguio Cathedral, Burnham Park, Botanical Garden,Wright Park and Camp John Hay. I also liked the overlooking mountain view from the hotel restaurant(Dulcinea). The food was great but a little pricey though (hotel price). But i was delighted and satisfied coz i enjoyed the food. Loved their pastries and the free overflowing brewed coffee available. We stayed in a superior room. They have a king size bed and what i like the most is their big and comfy pillows. They have clean, white, fragrant linens. Love them. They provided us with tootbrush and tootpaste however the brush was so stiff, it hurts my gums and the tootpaste produces no foam. But t'was fine coz i brought my own stuff. I commend all their staff. from the front desk clerk, service crew from the restaurant, housekeeping staff and the security guard. Job well done guys. everyone was very accomodating, smiling and courteous. Overall, the hotel was lovely and clean. Great staff, great location. Excellent.

      Home away from Home”

Value for Money, Quiet & Friendly Staff

I've been to Baguio for countless times and this is my 2nd stay in Chalet Baguio. Chalet Baguio is a home away from home accommodation. I love how quiet the place is; where you can really relax. Staff are really friendly too which is a very important component in a Hotel industry. We were lucky to avail a discounted rate through AGODA and occupied a higher category room in Chalet. We need to check-out very early and will not make it for the time of breakfast but the friendly receptionist suggested that we should avail our free breakfast the night before our departure which is nice. We'll definitely stay in Chalet for our next Baguio trip.

      Loved this hotel”

Quiet hotel with a great view with air-conditioning

I have been to Baguio many times since I was a child. We would stay either at Baguio Country Club or at Camp Jon Hay. The only thing was over the last few years, not having a/c in the rooms meant waking up due to the noise outside (chickens, dogs, fellow guests, golfers etc) This time I decided to stay at a hotel with a/c and I was soooooo pleased by Chalet Baguio. I think its fantastic. Its new, clean, tastefully decorated, has a great view and is well located. The hotel staff are great and upon checking in, we were told our free breakfast (served at the lobby, Dulcinea) was valid from 6 am to 10 pm. Which I felt was so generous of them! We reserved 3 rooms with different categories and they were all great. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Nice surprise for a last-minute booking”

Value for money, indeed. This hotel has exceeded our expectations and more. We were hesitant to book Chalet Baguio because of some of the reviews, primarily about the parking space. They do have limited parking, but we checked in on a Sunday and they were not fully booked. The location was quiet enough even though our room was fronting the main road. The location is also excellent, it's not smack in the middle of city traffic. Taxi ride to the city center only cost ~P50 one way. The room was clean, and their beddings were cozy (white sheets, for those who might be wondering). The 24/7 free-flowing coffee AND the dinner (included in the rates) is such a big plus (savings)! But the best part is, everyone in the staff was very accommodating to our requests. On our second day, they provided an extra towel, water, and slippers for our little girl even without us asking. We will definitely be staying here again.

for those looking for a place to stay in Baguio look no further, chalet is a new hotel that is small homey and an absolute bang for the buck. it lacks the haunted house feel of other hotels because it was built 2011 which is a definite plus. the free breakfast is great, i keep ordering the fried milkfish along with a cup of warm coffee. parking is available but can be a bit of a concern if you check in during peak season but for a small city, parking isn't Baguio's boon anyway. the bathrooms are clean and small. it is designed to be semi transparent which can be an issue if you are sharing a room with friends that are mixed sexes since the silhouettes are a bit detailed. overall, I will definitely come back to chalet when i go back to Baguio. highly recommended.

      ALL ACCESS!”

Highly recommended Hotel in Baguio for the following reasons: - The hotel location is I think in the centre of all tourists spots in Baguio. (SM Baguio, Burnham Park, Camp John Hay, etc) - Room 502 (REQUEST GRANTED! Good view of the mountains)-- KUDOS!-- clean and very spacious. - WEBSITE ROOM PICTURES vs REALITY is EXACTLY THE SAME! Although I've read some reviews that their rooms needs improvement/renovation, but room 502 really meets our expectations! - Accommodating staffs! We've checked-in at around 4pm and from the moment we entered going to their reception area, the hotel staffs immediately offered an assistance to cary our luggages. Considering that we had a late check-in, the next day, they allowed us to stay in the room until 1245H. -GREAT Value for money! You Get what you pay for! -FREE FLOWING COFFEE. CONS: - Limited Parking Space. but during our time, we still manage to have a safe parking space at their basement. - water supply needs improvement.

Very comfortable, quiet home away from home.”

Room size and comfort, hot shower, restaurant

Our party of five arrived past midnight on May 24, without a confirmed hotel reservation in Baguio. I looked for an available hotel in Agoda and thankfully a room is available at the Chalet Baguio. The check-in process was very efficient and customer service was great. The room given to us had a nice view of the back of a building, with this huge pine tree. Hot shower was available on-demand and the linens were all clean and very neatly tucked. I specially like their restaurant (Dulcinea) which serves American, Continental, and Pinoy breakfast plates AND churros! The ambiance of the hotel is very homey and the staff, from the guard to the reception to the housekeeping to f&b staff are all very attentive, friendly and competent.

      Modern and chic hotel”

Accessible, reasonable price and nice rooms

we stayed at chalet last week for an overnight stay. i ought to stay on other hotel that my friend recommended but then, i wanted to try out other hotels in the city. hence, i booked for a standard room. it has reasonable price since we received good service and the rooms are very nice and modern with all the facilities (aircon, lcd tv, complementary water etc.). though we arrived in the morning, the hotel didn't allow us to check in earlier if so, we will be charged with 800 pesos. it was not a problem since it is accessible to session road, we just check out the city and ate lunch. then we returned to the hotel by 12nn and waited for a while, though there was an overflowing coffee in the lobby. we checked in around 1pm (1 hr earlier) to the standard 2pm check in. overall, we had a great stay at the hotel and we enjoyed the city since it's near the prime spots at baguio as well as the bus station (5min walk from victory liner). we'll definitely recommend it and stay there again.

The staffs and the hotel itself!

Absolutelly fantastic! The location is great, not scary and its in the center of all the tourist spots of Baguio. 5 mins drive from victory liner and SM. Taxis are so easy to find. Staffs are very friendly and very helpful. Hotel itself is very clean, better than those 3 stars hotels in Manila. The free breakfast menus are great start for the day... I love their chicken adobo Our stay in Baguio became so wonderful because we found Chalet Baguio Hotel, who really takes care of our needs We'll stay here again once we'll be in Baguio again!

A vacation worth every bit a second”

The hotel staff was very accomodating 24/7. The location is great, not too near to the city nor it is not too far.

i had enjoyed very much my stay in chalet. the location is perfect in every sense for me and my family. the location is not too far and not too near to the city. you can relax and enjoy in your room without being bothered by the noise of the vehicles passing outside. you can go to several places either by walking or via the public transport. the hotel staff were very courteous and accomodating to all our requests. there is always someone to assist you no matter what time of the day it is. the place was like a home away from home. the room and ammenities are clean. the hotel services are excellent. i will definitely stay in chalet the next time i'll go to baguio. i can say the hotel was almost excellent except for the breakfast. it can still have some improvement. the food was great but the choices were a bit few. if i had to rate my stay in chalet, i'll give it a 4.5 stars overall.

      Don't Judge a Book By It's Cover”

Big rooms, mostly clean, very friendly staff, new building, close to mall and downtown, close to transportation, safe, close to churches.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. I stayed in the premier suite, the room was spacious and clean. There were some areas that needed a bit of attention, like the bottom of the window behind the furniture; but it was minor. One of the window shade cords broke the first time I closed the shade. I brought the broken cord to the front desk and told them, I was expecting it to be fixed during my stay but the shade remained down without a new cord for my entire stay. The views from the room were great. But given the location you can hear dogs and roosters from the town. Also, know that if you're visiting the PI you'll see a lot of shocking poverty, including from the window of the hotel. The mountain views were fantastic though. The hotel is walking distance to SM mall and several restaurants. Hotel restaurant serves breakfast, it's a bit skimpy but it's free with the room. I didn't care for the hotel restaurant, the service was slow (just in the restaurant, the front desk service was fantastic) and the food was mediocre at best. Also, the restaurant isn't separated from the lobby so it's loud, the windows are dirty and there were TONS of dead bugs at the bottom of the window. Hotel security was always helpful flagging down a taxi or helping us cross the road. The taxi drivers in Baguio always used the meter (starts at P35), we never had to ask. We found the people in Baguio to be much friendlier than those in Manila. Perhaps because they know we (visible minorities) are there as tourists spending money. Aside from a few aggressive vendors at Wright Park we weren't hassled by anyone and were given deference and respect by everyone we met during our stay there. Baguio is a beautiful and refreshing place; we enjoyed our stay in the city of pines. Chalet Baguio was a great place to stay despite the few complaints I had (I'm picky); I would definitely stay there again.

      Considerate management and accommodating staff”

I booked this hotel for our 1 night in Baguio. Erroneously booked another hotel for the same date which we called the property inmediately to cancel and ask for refund. We want to stay in Chalet but the other hotel is not replying to our request for cancellation refund. Chalet suggested to just cancel the booking with them and is willing to give a refund so we can avoid to pay two bookings for the same date. We needed to go to the other hotel because they are not replying to our phone queries. To make it short, we were able to cancel and ask for refund from the other hotel. We immediately booked Chalet again for our 1 night accommodation. The staff are very accommodating and easy to talk to. They showed real concern to their guests, called the phone in our room to apologize for the unnecessary drilling noise from the neighbor establishment and we were transferred to other room so we wont be disturbed by the noise. Great customer service! 💙

the staff, the breakfast, the location

Chalet Baguio..last week was our secound time staying there for our yearly baguio trips. the staff treat you like royalty because it feels like they almost want to bow at your presence.lol! the hotel's location is very ideal.it's within walking distance from victory liner terminal (if you're into walking of course). chalet is located on a quiet strip, away but not far from all commercial establishments. this, for me is good because i don't want the noise to be near me..i want to be the one to come to the noisy places as i please.. overall, chalet will give you value for your money.it's not cheap or expensive..it's..just right..

      room, service, accommodation

hotel is newly built, fixtures are still in order, tiles are crystal clear, generally so clean. we got the family suite which is so spacious, fabulous cabinets with full viewing windows facing the pine trees, it's just so refreshing. the location of the hotel is outside the busy and noisy streets of the city, definitely you will be at peace. though it's walking distance from victory liner, sm and 50's diner. they have compliments as well which is a sweet gesture... the guards, front desk and waiters are so accommodating - they would make you feel welcomed and at home.. we had a comfortable and fabulous stay at chalet. you should visit chalet on your next trip to baguio.

comfortable room, great staff, great food

There is something intimate about Chalet Baguio. It made me and my girlfriend feel like we were the only two people in the world. It was great having a quiet dinner with a view of the mountainside in baguio at night. And it came as a pleasant surprise that we didn't have to pay for dinner because it came with the room price. All in all, we will be staying here the next time we are in Baguio.

clean room and their interior designs, awesome staff!

i am impressed with the hotel's offer (rainy day promo). i have spent hours online in search of the most reasonable hotel offers and rates and chalet baguio hotel topped them all. me and my partner just celebrated our 2nd year anniversary and we had a blast! i have done my research and i have seen a couple of pictures of the rooms that they have from the guests who have visited the hotel and i have no further questions with their interior designs... good job for the free coffee! hoping for more offers... staffs were really accommodating. even before we set foot on the hotel, they were already there to carry our bags from the taxi to the reception area, and then to the rooms. all staffs were friendly especially ana :) and when we are about to leave, they are also the one who called a taxi for us. and even help us load our bags to the cab.

A great stay with a little hiccup”

Chalet Baguio overall was a nice place to stay. Initially we were allocated room 402, avoid this room at all cost, your door is on the lobby, the elevator is on one room and the room interconnects with another. No privacy at all - not to mention this room is for guests with mobility concerns. However I commend the staff who without any hesitation moved us to a quieter room after the first night. The room 409 was very comfortable, the shower hot - but couldn’t work out how to get hot water in the hand basin for shaving. Loved the beds, very comfortable - my only recommendation would be to have 2 pillows each on the bed. We booked with the breakfast and dinner promotion and was very surprised, the food at dinner was always tasty and of a good size. We enjoyed every meal. I also loved the complimentary coffee in the lobby lounge, great coffee and good view whilst I worked on some emails. Staff were always pleasant, helpful and smiling. Location good - easy walk to most places

Great view, nice location, good service

chalet baguio is a new hotel and offers great value for money. the interiors are well-designed (not scary at all) and exudes a warm, welcoming feel. the deluxe room is quite comfortable and nice. very modern and artsy at the same time. what's more, it has a great view, especially at sunrise. i love their big glass windows. no ref though and complimentary water bottles are small, but the rest of the amenities are okay. the beds are quite comfortable and everything's new, i think. you can sense that some of the service staff are not quite experienced but they more than make up for it with their eagerness to serve. service with a heart. the location is nice too. not in a crowded area but still near sm and other tourist spots. definitely, i will come back to this hotel and recommend to my friends. and oh, by the way, they serve free-flowing coffee in the restaurant and breakfast is served any time of the day. two thumbs up!
