we had great time in quang ngai city. central hotel is greatly located. staff are wonderful and very pleasant. we had no problems with our room: clean, enough space for my 5 year old son to play. however, swimming pool area was quite crowed since it is located behind a bar? my son enjoyed first day of swimming. definitely, i will stay at central hotel again.

Fantastic service and friendly staff”

We only booked 1 night but due to an unforeseen motor accident we stayed an extra 2 nights and visited the hospital in Quang Ngai. If it wasn't for the lovely Ms Hung, it would have been very difficult at the hospital for us (English speakers). She escorted us from the hotel to the hospital and waited with us, and even recommended lunch to take away back to the hotel room instead of eating at the hotel. Thank you Ms Hung! Apart from her wonderful service, the hotel in general is fine, centrally located and food from the restaurant is good quality. The only downside would be that house keeping knock on your door too early in the morning (while we're still sleeping!)

Best hotel in Quang Ngai”

The hotel is in conner of central street of Quang Ngai city. I was impressed by the breakfast. So many kind of foods and delicious.

Lovely hotel, lovely receptionist. ”

We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, who showed us to our rooms, which were big in size, and very clean. The hotel itself my be slightly dated, but it's still the best hotel in the area. On leaving the same receptionist helped us book our next hotel in Sa Huynh. Very nice lady.

Clean and good hotel”

hotel lobby is grand compared to other hotels around. the rooms are good sized. the hotel has free wifi and there are many facilities. the hotel staff are friendly and are able to speak english. hotel is quite safe as there are security around. location of hotel is near to shops and getting transport from there is not a problem.

Good room with a view”

The staff were helpful, the room was spacious, breakfast was average although the view from the restaurant was amazing. I liked this hotel. There are ATMs and taxi's outside so its very convenient.

the hotel was comfortable. was probably once very grand.in need of some refurbishment. the pool was not fit for swimming, although the posters showed something entirely different.despite all of this our stay was good. the rooms were clean and the bed and bathroom facilities were satisfactory.the restaurant served tasty food at good prices and breakfast was very good.the best thing the hotel has going for it were the staff. they were always friendly and we often shared a joke with them. they were happy to arrange motor bikes to take us to son my and we felt very welcome.

Nice hotel and service”

The hotel is old but is well maintained. The housekeeping at my floor is very patient and helpful. Very efficient service with smile. However, breakfast is not as good. Need improvement.

Lovely hotel friendly staff”

There are a lot of hotels in this area but we decided to pay a little bit more for a bit of luxury and it was definitely worth it. Safe secure lockup area for our bicycles gave us peace of mind. Staff here are brilliant and extremely helpful.

No major complaints or problems, but certainly nothing special. Air conditioning and hot water worked, but no water pressure at all; just a trickle shower. Room in dire need of new bedding and desperately needs new carpeting. Breakfast buffet disappointed, so do not factor it into your decision to stay. Wonderful swimming pool which we could not use. It opens to the public at 5 a.m. and quickly fills with the neighborhood children. You won't need an alarm clock. The hotel was quiet, and centrally located - to absolutely nothing. Reviews of other hotels were often brutal, so there are not a lot of choices available. The same applies to restaurants. We had some minor issues at the front desk. Having lived in-country for several years; I have learned to always book through an agency, always use plastic, and always get a receipt. Some hotel staffs just don't understand internet booking, and there is almost always a request for cash only, and usually at a higher rate than advertised. Management was sympathetic. This is not a tourist town, or shopping town, or a walking town. You are here to see the Mai Lai museum, and the best way to do that is to rent a motorbike. We paid the young man at the front door 200,000 v.n.d., which is quite high, but you usually get a junk bike. Ours was practically new. The hotel is not bad, but it good be so much better, with just a little effort. By standards, it is grossly over priced.

Good location, but needs renovating”

The first room we got was ok, though the mattress was very hard, and the aircon didn’t work. So they moved us into another room, but it had mould on the walls and ceiling and you could smell it. Went to use the pool, but it wasn’t clean and the area was very run down. Nothing like the photos from it’s hay day. Location was great and the staff were helpful and polite, but overall the place itself is in dire need of renovation.

Our stay here was quite pleasant. The staff were very helpful and the room large and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was fairly basic but plenty of local eating spots nearby.

Not four star”

This is billed as a four-star hotel. No way! This might be two star but it is not well managed. Some staff are doing their best but the hotel is old, not well looked after, not particularly clean. Some bedroom lights don't work, toilet flusher a problem etc. The restaurant service is almost comical in its lack of interest (except for the odd member of staff) - most are more interested in their mobile phones. Reception staff are the best and there is one woman who speaks some English who was the best and well above the others in terms of professionalism. Price charged for hotel is well in excess for elsewhere in Vietnam for that standard.
