Majestic Mount Kinabalu”

It was our in our checklist to have the most amazing view of Kinabalu and Celyn Resort was there to make it true..I believe the most amazing view of Kinabalu can only be seen from this resort. Would recommend to whoever like to outweigh nature over anything else. 5 out of 5 for this resort and also the cleanliness and staff responses. The only thing that seriously needs to improve for this property is more choices for food.

great majestic mountain view”

its quite a traveling road to the place but its worth it. we have booked rooms with mountain view. it was spectacular especially between 6am to 7am. breakfast is so so. room is clean. thank god for water heater. the night can be extremely chilly so bring extra clothes/jackets/stockings to cover yourself up. will come again.

its quite a traveling road to the place but its worth it. we have booked rooms with mountain view and it was spectacular especially between at 6am - 7am. breakfast is so so. not too shabby. rooms are clean. the night can be extremely chilly, so bring your extra clothes/jackets/stockings, sweaters to cover yourself up.

Affordable, excellent staff and great views”

Our family had a very nice stay at this resort although the road was very gravelly but it's worth the trip as the resort had an excellent staff (especially Ms Liza who was very attentive, friendly and helpful) and provided good hospitality. The amenities were great too! You can check out the drawers for bedroom slippers. We had a small party in the function room and once again, the staff were always being of assistance. If you love taking photos, you've come to the right place! There are trails where you can do trekking too. Meanwhile when it gets very cold at night, I suggest you to pack your own warm blanket because the resort's comforter might be too thin for those who can't stand the cold air. Breakfast was simple but adequate. =)

The location is good can see mount kinabalu. The rooms were small with mosquitos but they paid extra and upgraded to the villa. It had a small kitchen was clean and had mosquito nets.

Superb!”

We stayed at Celyn on 5-6 March 2022. To be honest, its quite adventurous journey heading to Celyn, but its worth! I hope there will be a better or proper road to Celyn. We dont mind at all bcs we got the best view of Mt. Kinabalu from our room. The food selections quite limited. Still, you can enjoyed some cooling view from the coffee house. The room service food also superb and tasty. The staff also very helpful and friendly. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here and hope there will be more to improve in the future.

The view is superb”

It's my first time to stay in Celyn Resort and I love it. The room is clean and big. Toilet is clean and up to expectation. The best part is the view of Mount Kinabalu is to die for. However there are so many wild dogs and am not sure whether it is safe to bring kids here if we were to repeat.

Exceptional”

The view is worth the money. Only the road is gravel along the way to reach there. There is no lamp on the road, so its quiet dangerous at night. The room is spacious and clean. All room have balcony, but it will be better to book kinabalu room to get a good view of the mountain in the morning.
