Awesome ”

We have just returned from another beautiful stay at the Cedarwoods of Sandton. This is the third year in a row that we, as a large group of 10, enjoyed the superb hospitality that we have come to expect from this hotel. While situated so close to the Sandton central business district as well as major malls, the Cedarwoods of Sandton is a surprising haven of peace and tranquility with vast gardens and beautiful trees from where birds sing all day long. The rooms are nicely decorated and spotless with comfortable beds and amenities. The food is fresh and tasty and caters to a wide variety of diets. But what is most surprising is the feeling of being at home with the host and his staff sharing their warmest welcome year after year. Nothing too much trouble for them and even in the holiday period of December and a reduced number, they still manage to cater to all our needs with efficiency and gentleness. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

Leisure vs Business”

I found the hotel facilities to be more suited for leisure than business. The room was lovely and grey and heater availability enable me to study effectively as I was in Sandton to write an exam. However bed was a bit small and the shower did not have a head which are 2 main negatives. These are the 2 most important things for me when travelling. I also need a comfortable sitting chair for sitting up while study, which the lady at reception was kind enough to offer.

I had booked a delux room but when I got there I got a smaller room because the deluxes were full(I was later told). Also when I got there on Saturday the Hotel did not have my booking details or confirmation.

The hotel was marvellous”

Me and my wife enjoy the best of the most beautiful environment at the hotel. We felt like extending our stay at hotel.

Basic but clean with good breakfast”

I just needed a place to sleep - was 500m from my conference venue. I could not watch the sports (rugby) channel but it's not a five star so I settled for a movie and was happy. I had supper there and it was good (waiter was fantastic). I was pleasantly surprised at the lovely (gig variety) breakfast buffet. It felt safe and parking was good. The shower inside the bath was a bit uncomfortable was flow of water was good.

Great Service& Value for Money”

It was fantastic: Service from all the staff, they were all proactive, room was modern , comfy and clean and value for money rate. Special mention to Sarah, and rest of the restaurant staff.

Exceptional”

The room was clean and it was safe with 24 hour security. The staff was very helpful and friendly and accommodated my needs. I will definitely recommend them with an open hart.

Great place”

It was great thank you very much, although I didn't spend much time to be able to see the garden and other fun things I had a great time. I do think they wud do with checking after the cleaners and have a rug or mat at the bed side. Thanks

The can do with renovations. Very old and not clean. We had blocked nose course of the carpet and dust. Aircorn too old and not working. The breakfast was dry and not appetising

Wifi was bad Staff as the restaurant didnt even acknowledge me during my stay and made me feel unwelcome
