It was worth the money. ”

I was browsing for a place to stay in Cebu which will fit our budget and kid friendly since we will be bringing our 6 month old baby with us during the trip. I came across Cebu R Hotel - Capitol which fit our budget. We booked a family room for four. We arrived hours early than the check-in time but we allowed us already to go to our room after a couple of minutes of waiting.Just like in the previous reviews, the place was worth every piece of centavo we paid for. The breakfast was surprisingly good and delicious. It was in a quiet area but nearby Robinsons mall (maybe a 5min ride of taxi). You can try to walk also but it will take take roughly 20 to 30 minutes i guess. It was also two blocks away from a "carinderia" or eatery which served the best barbecue. A good alternative from Larsian. Just 2 to 5minutes from a convenience store. Over-all our experience was surprisingly good. I will definitely recommend this place for budget travellers like us and are looking for a place to stay.

Exceptional value”

There are two Cebu R hotels in Cebu (this one at Capital, and another near SM City). They're both highly-rated in our experience: clean, quiet, well-appointed, free breakfast, children-friendly. This one near Capital is the better of the two -- for the same low price we got a spacious room, 2 beds, lots of tables and chairs in the room. It doesn't have a swimming pool or children's play area, but this isn't expected for the price. The breakfast area is crowded at 7am (only 8 or 10 tables), and people were waiting their turn. The staff was strained to offer good service for breakfast, but I understand it's the busiest time for them and they don't staff up for just one meal. All-in-all, an exceptional value in Cebu.

Clean rooms with great location and good service”

It's very refreshing and relaxing to stay at Cebu R hotel. The breakfast is great and healthy. They have friendly and dedicated staff. Taxi is just at the front door. Easily accessible to our friends leaving in Cebu. Walking distance to Capitol because it is located at Escario Road, Capitol Site. There's a lot of passenger jeep plying that route going to Robinson's mall for only P7.50 fare. We have not encountered any problem with our tour in Cebu.

Cebu's best hotel in price range 1100 - 1500 peso per day”

Just stayed 11 days in Cebu R Capitol. Renovation just finished. New front desk area, and separate dining area. All staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms have good bed, not too hard. Minibar. TV with 65 channels. Bathroom have good water pressure. Im a repeat guest, who always enjoy my stay at Capitol or Mabolo branch. Hotel always on top of repair and continuly upgrade. Best run hotel in this price range.

I had a great stay at Cebu R Hotel - Capitol during my family's quick vacation. We arrived at the hotel almost 10:00 p.m. and we are very tired because of a long day we had. The check in was easy. We just confirm quickly our reservation and the frontdesk officer quickly gave us the key. When we went to our assigned room, it was spotless...Clean room and comfortable bed. We had a good sleep! Will be back here again in the future!

Excellent service with very courteous staff”

I stayed here last week in Cebu R and I was very impressed with the way this hotel was managed. When we first checked in, we were each given a glass of a very refreshing, cold iced tea. The temperature in Cebu is quite humid so I was thankful and surprised with the gesture. Every time you see the staff they never fail to greet you with a good morning/afternoon/evening sir/maam. When you leave the hotel to explore the city, the guard or one of the hotel attendants will ask if you need a taxi and get one for you without fail. The room was quite good, the hot water was functional as is the air conditioning. The beds were cleaned every day without fail. You also get free breakfast. The one thing poor was the wifi connection near the elevator. It seems the connection there was quite poor as it kept on connecting and disconnecting.

I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again since it's not expensive, and you get more than what you pay for. We stayed in a Deluxe R room good for 4 to 5. The hotel is very close to the city capitol so it's in the heart of the city. It is very convenient to stay at since you can ride a jeepney with just a 2 minute walk, it is close to everything. The room was nice and spacious, the bathroom too (although a little trouble with shower). You get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly and I have nothing bad to say. I recommend you get this when you're in Cebu for Sinulog.

Accommodating and well- trained personnel staff”

Very reasonable price!!! I only booked 2 days stay in Cebu R Hotel thru Agoda,but my family and I decided to stay 3 more days!!! Hotel room was a bit small but it was okay!!! Our room was kept tidy daily with daily change too of bath towels. Staff were very accommodating and was serve with free breakfaat! Overall,Cebu R Hotel is inexpensive yet very satisfying... I will surely consider going back to this hotel whenever i will be in Cebu!

Lovely hotel in a very affordable price”

i had a great experience in cebu r hotel since i tried to upgrade my room for two days by just adding p300/night. when i got to the hotel, i pay only but they told me that i can stay in my suite room for my entire five day stay there. the suite room costs around but they gave it to me for php1400 only for two days then no upgrade charge for three remaining days. my room was so clean and i love the scent of my room each time i enter it. the bathroom has a bathtub though rails are already covered with some rusts but you can still hold on to it. the bathroom and the room are both spacious. it has a mini bar and a ref and a 32-inch lcd tv with cable, a couch and a table with two seats that are truly filipino in style. i love their breakfast set and everything about this hotel. they changed my towels every time i hang the make up room sign on my door. i really love my stay here and would definitely go back here this year. this is just a simple hotel and no pool or whatsoever, they just have a piano at the lobby and a wifi for the entire hotel including inside the room that i really enjoyed during my stay here.

Exceeded Expectations”

We stayed at the Cebu R Hotel for a couple of nights while for business combined with leisure. The quality and cleanliness of the rooms exceeded our expectations based on what is considered standard in the Philippines. The rooms are reasonable size and the toilet/shower are large, have strong water pressure and the hot water does not run out unlike most hotels in the country. Staffs are friendly and location of the hotel is not bad. Would definitely stay at R hotel again when in Cebu and recommend the hotel to others as well.

Very comfy ”

We did liked our stay at Cebu R with a comfy bed and spacious room. Fridge and mini bar with complimentary water and plated breakfast also AC is working which is good. The staffs from reception to everyone were really kind and always willing to help if you need anything. Location though is a bit far from the malls but via grab or taxi is ok but it is near the capitol and a few hospitals. Will recommend this hotel still because we had a comfortable sleep. Cebu is a very nice place and having a place 2 stay where u'll feel safe and at home is one thing that u would really appreciate more d beauty of d place. Because in a way, a hotel which would cater 2 all your hearts desire after a tiring day of going around d city is really a great factor. I would really recommend Cebu R hotel, not to mention that d place is really so convenient as Robinsons, d crown regency, d capitol, d museum is just walking distance.

We stayed at Cebu R Hotel on Sunday 9th July 2018. This location is easy to access and we are happy with the facilities and cleanliness. However, the Wifi connection was quite poor but it's not an issue. The staff was very helpful and spot on. We really enjoyed the night at Cebu R Hotel in Capitol. Thanks a lot.

Underrated hotel! ”

For around 1k php, this is the best deal one can avail in cebu city. It is near the capitol and various fastfood chains. Also, free breakfast is included which is a heavy one. Don't mind the pictures included in agoda and below 8 rating because rooms are newly renovated to a modern look which can compete with much pricier hotels. Overall, i recommend this to every kind of travellers in cebu.

Cebu R hotel is totally great. It is located in city (capitol). Close to shopping centre. Staffs are super kind and very helpful. Breakfast has 3 choices and they are all good. And internet is fast. But internet is only available at the lobby. I very recommend this hotel!!

Good location, lovely rooms”

my friends and i stayed in cebu r recently. we loved the rooms - big, clean, and comfy. the staff are nice, too. another thing i love about this place is it's very near establishments like ayala mall where you can dine and shop, and crown regency hotel to do skywalk and zipline. we came back to cebu r after 2 days from bantayan island but the place is fully booked. when i come back to cebu, i will surely stay in this hotel again.

When I entered this hotel, it smells so good and I felt very relaxed. The guard usually opened the door of the hotel when we entered and went out. The room was great and comfortable. The towels which we would use were decorated by the staffs on the beds during cleaning the room and were beautiful. And also, in this hotel, I could use the hot shower. When I go back to Cebu, I'd like to stay at this hotel again. Thank you, Cebu R Hotel!

we enjoyed our stay at the cebu r hotel. in the madness of cebu city, we enjoyed coming back to the hotel and being greeted by the smiling, extremely friendly and accommodating staff. the room was spacious and very clean as was the bathroom. the room was equipped with a 32' widescreen lcd tv, the wifi internet worked fine and there was a small refrigerator with very affordable bottled water and other drinks. there is also a small table in the room and the hotel allows for its guest to have food in the room so if you come back tired one day, you can just order-in some delicious filipino food (or just pizza or burgers if you prefer that!). breakfast was included and the food was good. the hotel's restaurant also offers lunch and dinner and the food is pretty good and cheap!

I had an amazing experience travelling to Cebu and staying there for two days because of Cebu R Hotel. In fact I am coming up wth a blog just for the hotel. Thumbs up. They went beyond customer service when they allowed me to leave my things for a few hours even after I checked out because I had to do an important errand the last minute.
