Perfect Hostel”

Love staying at Cebu Budgetel because it is very cheap compared to other hostels and has great Aircon and even has warm showers which I love! Also great location, close to many great restaurants! Staff is very nice and accommodating with my friends and I! Will definitely recommend to my friends!

A budget friendly hotel with super duper accomodating staffs especially Nilo. Never did I regret booking into this hotel, not even once (I book this hotel every time I go to cebu city). Also, location wise, it's near IT park, ayala and sm malls.

The building is called JY Crowne Palace in Lahug. Reception for the property is at the 2nd floor. It seems more like a hostel type property and from the looks of it, a repurposed hotel. They provide free basement parking but the elevator only runs from the ground floor up. There is also a bit of an issue with the steepness of the car ramp when coming up from the basement parking but the property’s security guard will easily assist you. They have free wifi inside the building. We booked a twin room for a night and was a given a room with a foul odor. We requested a room change and immediately got upgraded to a triple room at no additional cost. The new room had another issue with the door lock but was easily resolved. The rooms are about the size of a standard hotel room and the bathrooms are quite big as well (no bathtubs). The furnitures inside the room and the building itself is quite dated. Rooms are provided with a TV and a kettle but sadly no other mirror except one from the bathroom. The staff members are very accommodating and are easy to talk to. The hostel had a few lacking facilities and some minor improvements can be made but it is great when you’re on a tight budget. I was hesitant to book this place at first but given that we only needed a room to prepare for an event, I was hooked with the price they offered. A twin room that costs Php 750.00 —only— at a property with a fairly safe neighborhood is a gem to find in the city. I was surprised to see that the picture they had on the listing is more/less the same as what you get in the actual. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place with decent and basic room facilities, free wifi, free parking, friendly staff and is at a very good location, this might be a good place for you.

excellent service and place. the staff are very nice and friendly. the place was so good and very near to some tourist spot. we just ended our short vacation and we can say that it is very satisfying with the experienced that we had in Cebu and of course with this place. very well recommended. when we will go back in Cebu we will surely go back to this place.

INCREDIBLE!”

Absolutely amazing experience, the staff were incredible, the location was great, the room was very nice with hot shower, the hotel is very close to lost of shops and restaurants and a less than 5 minuets walk to the shopping centre. Staff are very helpful and helped us plan our trip through Cebu with no charge, they didn’t even ask us to book with them or anything. They just told us what there was to do and if we needed anything just to ask. Such kind and caring staff, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing staff and great value”

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Cebu. The staff is absolutely amazing: super friendly and helpful, while being down to earth and easy to talk to. The location is convenient, as I can walk to IT Park or JY Square Mall. Fantastic value overall!

Hi highly recommend this hotel they have the most accommodating staff Nilo,Archie,Dante,Randy,Avril,Antonio,Claud and Raymun each and everyone are well trained in giving the highest customer service satisfaction all of them are really friendly and graceful in all of their guests. In my 5day stay in this hotel they always make sure that they provide all of our needs the vicinity is clean and fragrant everyday. I definitely love this hotel this will be our second home if we get back in cebu❤️❤️

Solo traveler. ”

Being a solo traveler here in Cebu, i wasn't just enjoyed my stay here but rather i always come back to the place whom i called my 2nd home. Cebu Budget hotel was my first choice aside from its budget friendly amount, the people here are so accommodating, approachable and sobrang bait specially "Nilo" the receptionist. All the staff are very kind. The room also is clean, and most specially you can sleep peacefully. The place is secured, so no need to panic about your important things because they also have lockers for you. One thing for sure i will always comeback here and recommend this to all my friends and family.

Nilo and the rest of the hotel staff were very courteous. We did not have any land/tour arrangements prior to check-in. Nilo helped us arrange our itinerary for both Cebu and Bohol trips. He was very kind. We were in a tight budget, and Nilo made sure that we had our money's worth. He even helped us book cheaper van rentals and habal-habal rides. Look for him when you check in! he is really nice! Love from the guests last March 18-20 from Ilocos Sur! :)

Easily one of my favorite places to stay in Cebu! This place is perfect for budget travelers, like my friend and I. We took a shot in booking this place and we were not disappointed at all. Special shout out to Nilo for taking great care of us. He gave us a special discount and even upgraded our room for free. In total, my friend and I stayed at this place for 2 nights and we felt so at home!

Nice stay”

we stayed overnight in this hotel and it was nice.. we booked a room w/o toilet coz its cheap but they moved us to a better room with toilet for free. Thank you so much. The aircon is good. we were at room 406 and the other window is damaged it wont locked. we were hesitant at first but we were tired so we just didnt mind it. i hope they will fixed that window. The room has 2 doors the other one is locked from our room and we could hear the noise from the other room from that locked door. There was a refrigerator and electric kettle, we didnt use it though. . i like the two beds it was comfy for me. we had a nice stay thank you..

Very good”

We had a pleasant stay at this budget hotel. Staff was very accommodating and even gave us a room upgrade (!) since we were 7 people all in all. Rooms were clean and tidy. We had a little problem with the lightbulb in the bathroom, but the staff was quick to fix it. AC was cold, but it wasn't a problem since there were blankets provided (Although they were a bit itchy.). Location-wise, it was alright. Taxis and Uber vehicles know the place, but if you are planning on taking public transport, you might have to walk a few meters for the main road. Also, the "hotel" is actually situated in just a few floors in a building. And the time we went there, the elevator was not working, so we had to use the stairs. But overall, it was a clean and decent play to stay, and is definitely at an affordable price.

Amazing Hostel in Cebu”

The staff were very accommodating and respectful. The service is superb! The hostel is close to JYmall, church and IT Park. The room was clean and the no issues with the airconditioner. I highly recommend this hostel! Sulit :)
