Loved our stay here”

The family that owned Santorini home stay were so nice and welcoming! We loved our room which was so comfy and clean, really can not fault anything about here as the location was perfect and also booked tours with them too. Would definitely recommend

Not a great experience ”

We stayed in a cheap private room here for a couple of nights and it wasnt a particularly pleasant experience. The price is really low so it might be worth it if you are on a budget. The beds had a felt sheet, felt duvet and felt pillowcase with no mattress protector. It was bizarre and uncomfortable to sleep in especially because of the humidity in Cat Ba. The laundry price is very expensive (50,000 dong per kilo) and they'd didnt even dry my clothes properly before returning. The hot water also didnt work for parts of our stay and their kids were running up and down the stairs at 7am. All up we had 2 sleep deprived nights at this budget accommodation. Consider if it's worth staying here.

Lovely homestay and boat trip”

Lovely homestay. Owner and family really friendly amd couldn't do enough for you. Did the one day boat tour with them, also recommended. A little bit hard to find the first time tip turn off street next to the karaoke bar ;) Would definitely return!

Really nice place! ”

After one night we diceded to stay two more nights and were really happy about it. Perfect location and really nice staff. They helped us with all our questions. Good info about what there is to do in and around the island. You really get a great value for your money. Clean room with good beds and sheets. Also the shower was very good!

Beautiful place in Cat Ba”

I really enjoy the few days that I spend in this homestay. Tien and his family are very kindly and helpful. They make them available anytime. The breakfast was delicious. You feel like home here.

the place is quite clean and well kept, the staff is friendly and helpful. They also helped me out with my bus booking to Ninh Binh directly from the hostel for the cheapest price available in town. All in all definitely good value for the money

Under construction.”

We stayed here based on good reviews and feel the place could be nice but were there during a lot of construction. The construction would start up at 6:30 every day and caused the rest of the facility to be quiet dusty. Our AC unit got turned off due to the construction at one point but staff was quick to get it back on. The sink didn't seem to sit on the wall properly and the hose came out when used. The garden view with the room was a shared patio which combined with the construction and the people staying up late and talking on it led to some very unrestful nights. Would suggest waiting until construction is done if you enjoy sleeping past 6:30.

Cheap room for a short trip, but currently it's noist becaus of a construction site and the breakfast is ok. Laundry is quite expensive 50.000/kg

Considering the price it's an OK place. Had to wait 30minutes for anyone from the staff to show up upon arrival, staff was nowhere to be seen. I don't think the pillow had been cleaned for quite some time, it smelled like old sweat.

La Homestay est très bien placée. Le personnel est des plus agréable et prêt à nous rendre service. Mais la chambre est basique mais Reste néanmoins pratique.

I love it’s hostel. I stay there 1 week & this beautiful family! The rooms are clean & beautiful. It’s so peaceful & beautiful ! I really enjoy my stay here. I highly recommended this place ! It’s also close from everything. There are really helpful to book tours, bus, scooter& activity. / J’ai adoré mon séjour dans c’est maison hôtel. La famille est sympathique. Rien a dire tout a été parfait, notre hôte nous a bichonner. La chambre est spacieux avec deux lit queen size, clim, ventilateur. Je vous remercie encore d’avoir pris si soin de nous. Si vous devez séjourner à Cat ba foncer ils sont tout bonnement géniaux.

Il s'agit certainement du seul Homestay de Cat Ba où vous pouvez partager vos repas avec la famille. Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Tien Seven et Ninh Hong, ils ont été rempli de petites attention envers nous, et j'ai même eu droit à mon gâteau d'anniversaire! On a pu partager un repas avec toute la grande famille de nos hôtes, c'était une magnifique soirée. Nous avons choisi de passer 1 nuit sur le bateau dans la Baie d'Ha Lang, nous avons réservé grâce à nos hôtes et nous n'avons pas été déçus, c'était un séjour de 2 jours comme nous l'avions souhaité, c'était magique même si le temps n'était pas top! Si nous revenons à Cat Ba, nous reviendrons dans ce Homestay...

Ondanks dat het bed goed hard was en de luidspreker voor het nieuws goed te horen was, is het een fijn onderkomen met vriendelijke mensen.
