Lovely hotel with great location”

For my 1st trip to Cameron Highland, stayed at Casa De La Rosa for one night. Don't know what to expect, as I've never stayed there, but decided to gave it a try based on the reviews of others, plus the price offered by Agoda was attractive. Hotel is situated right in between of Tanah Rata and Berinchang. It is located just by the main road, so you wouldn't miss it driving by. The only minor disappointment is that although I booked the Deluxe Golf View, I couldn't really see the green because it was blocked by trees in front of the room. From the pictures posted on the net, I thought the hotel is within the golf club compound, but it is actually across the road. If you want a better view of the golf green, better stay at Cameron Resort. However, on the plus side, the room is spacious. We could really fit in another bed beside our queen size bed if we want. Since I stayed there on Sunday and checked out on Monday, the hotel was quiet. From the room, you could hear vehicles traversing the main road just outside your window, but then it is not a big deal to me since there really ain't that much vehicle at night. The room is equipped with mini fridge, LCD tv, free wifi, hot water, and even alarm clock. I personally found the alarm clock as a great convenience. Breakfast is so-so. Got some western breakfast together with some local delicacies. Don't expect 5 stars experience for your breakfast, but it is still quite good if you go for the western breakfast. You definitely need a transport if you are going to stay at this hotel. As I mentioned, it is located in between Tanah Rata and Berinchang. For dinner, you need to do some driving.

Splendid hotel at a good location”

Having been to Cameron Highlands a number of times, we really didn't expect to find an above the average accommodation. Give the fact that we were on a tight budget. Casa De La Rosa surprised us! It didn't take us long to locate the hotel, as it was very accessible to eating places, sort of a mid-way stop between the towns. The garden view, though not much of a garden in place, it offered absolute privacy. The room is quite spacious, adequately furnished, bathroom had a long bath and vanity, hot water supply throughout, reasonable cleanliness. Truly a value-for-money hotel. Don't expect 5-star hotel facilities, because they aren't 5-star. No pools, jacuzzi, whatever, just straight up comfortable rooms, friendly service, free Wi-fi, good breakfast spread (and they don't chase you away though breakfast time is slight over). If you're looking for a convenient, comfortable, clean stay, you can count on Casa De La Rosa.

ch is our favorite holiday spot. this is the 5th time in 2 years that my hubby and i went to ch and this is our 3rd stay in casa dela rosa. despite of some reviews here, i must say that this hotel has never fail to impress us. our first stay in this hotel is during our unplanned honeymoon where we 'walk-in' on several other hotels in ch and out of all the highly-recommended hotel that we went to, the best offer was given to us by casa dela rosa who provided not only a great deal but also a friendly welcome and excellent service. now, 2 years later, we’re still greeted with the same friendly and warm smiles once we stepped into the lobby. check-in was fast as usual and we were initially given a beautiful comfy room with a garden-view (as we never like a golf-course view anyway). however, there’s some kind of old plants remains piled up at that side of the garden so we asked to change room. within only few mins they’ve helped us moved to a new room which is the exact same room we stayed in during our first stay. the room was well-maintained, clean and gorgeously decorated with english-style furniture. great improvement by replacing the old box tv with a new lcd tv. we really enjoy watching lots of movies from the movie channel provided. the room was also equipped with an iron and an iron board. at night, our room is filled with the smell of roses from the garden which made the environment so romantic and soothing. the bathtub was great for a refreshing hot water dip during the cold weather. breakfast provided in the morning was good with variety of choices. we made mistake by spending our last night in ch at the equatorial. should’ve spend 3 nights straight in casa dela rosa instead. even so, we’re glad we’ve had our amazing nights in casa dela rosa. booking the room via agoda has made it so much better and easier. will definitely use agoda from now on to book a hotel and will definitely be back to stay in casa dela rosa in future.

Best Hotel in Cameron Highlands So Far”

I definitely enjoyed my stay at Casa De La Rosa! It's quite smallish compared to other hotels but the room is very nice and I can say that the utilities there are perfect and complete! The hotel also has the best view compared other hotels. It's right in front of the golf course and has many lounge areas for you to either enjoy the view or service. The gardens are also very nice. In terms of location, I would say that it's very convenient because it's at this one spot on a hill on its own and you can drive to both Tanah Rata and Brinchang conveniently. We were there during weekdays and there weren't many people so we got a la carte breakfasts. The food was very delicious! It'd be even nicer if the hotel has a rose-tinted scent. I think it'll be very pleasant for honeymoons, family getaways and group trips.

Lovely hotel with highly recommended”

we are glad and enjoyed our 2 nights stay in family quad room. the room is very big and clean. the hotel environment is quiet which is very relax and enjoyment. the hotel provided a cool court area in the garden which is really great if spend some time chit-chatting and feel the cool weather of cameron highland. we love the breakfast buffet as well with lots of variety of food and fruits. i think it will be a perfect room design if separated the toilet and shower area since the bathroom is big. overall, i would said casa de la rosa hotel is highly recommended for couple and family travellers.

having stay in this hotel for 2 days gave us a such a wonderful experience. though the room a bit small but the surrounding and the staff is so nice. it still convenience for a newly married couple like us. but the only dissatisfaction is on the breakfast as they didnt provide buffet for more choice and varieties...but still,to me casa de la rosa is an affordable and convenience hotel in brinchang and a great location to stay. it provides parking for the guess and nearby with market, strawberry farm and in between of brinchang and tanah rata.

Lovely and nice hotel”

it is a pleasureable stay even with one night. i would definitely recommend to any other friends to stay at this lovely hotel when they plan a trip up there in cameron highlands. the hotel reasonably priced with its current facilities provided. value for money. it's also located quite near to the tanah rata town. the environment of the hotel is quite nice as they have lots of greeneries and colourful flowers around. the downside is the breakfast, as they did not provide any buffet breakfast like how other hotels would normally provide. they only have limited breakfast choices on the menu for the guest to choose from.

A great boutique hotel”

Cameron Highlands is becoming somewhat metropolitan which can be disappointing for those seeking time out in a country environment where the view is more than the building next door. There are some hotels though that still offer genuine country outlook. Casa Del Rosa is one such hotel. A boutique hotel nestled against a hill opposite the golf course. Lovely gardens also. We loved it and will return. The only disappointment was the traffic noise passing the front of the hotel when the balcony doors were open - but where do we find perfection? This hotel offers good value for money. And there is WI-FI in the room for those who want to keep in touch!!

Night at Casa De La Rosa”

My expreience spending a night at Casa De La Rosa Hotel was during a New Year night 2009 celebration with my wife and my youngest son. It was a wonderful night view during that particular night. But the hotel did not organise any activity for the new year celebaration, and it seem a bit gloomy night at the hotel it self. So we decided to went out for a night tour around Brinchang town and Tanah Rata. It would be good new year celebration if the hotel management could organise something for the ocassion. Many Thank.

Great place to stay for short getaways”

I had no idea that the Casa De La Rosa Hotel had its origins as the Golf Course Inn from the 1970s rather than a recently built hotel. Its architecture is that of the original Golf Course Inn from but renovated to look contemporary and modern. The staff are friendly and helpful while the food is very good. This isn't a luxurious 5 star hotel, therefore don't expect a very wide variety of complimentary breakfast buffet spread. Casa De La Rosa sits in between Brinchang and Tanah Rata and right in front of the hotel is the famous Sultan Ahmad Shah golf course. There are no convenience stores or restaurants in the vicinity, therefore you'll have to drive or take a cab or bus to either Brinchang or Tanah Rata if you prefer to dine out. I find it interesting that the hotel's coffee house/dining room offers a steamboat package dinner, if you like steamboat dining. There isn't much to do if you're holed up in this hotel. There's a very small garden with two wooden gazebos at the back of the premises and that's pretty much it. Casa De La Rosa unfortunately doesn't have a vast grounds like Strawberry Park Resort, where you can roam around and take pictures. If you have children with you and intend to leave them at the hotel while you attend some conference or business meeting elsewhere, they're likely to get bored. If you like a quiet atmosphere away from the chaotic traffic in Brinchang or Tanah Rata, this is the place to stay. Room rates are too steep for backpackers on a budget or those just wanting basic accommodation. The room which I stayed in met my expectations. Cleanliness is top notch and there's a mini fridge (unstocked, so bring your own drinks), a 32" flat screen TV with ASTRO channels and free WiFi for every floor. A mini safe is provided to store your valuables and the room has amenities like a hair dryer. By the way, there is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. It does get cold at night but it would be nice if the hotel rooms are air condi

A lovely hotel with good service”

i had a short stay there with my mom just to enjoy the weather of cameron highlands. the hotel staffs were very friendly and greeted us with a warm smile. the room was very clean and without those mold smell that you might expect in cameron. it was situated between tanah rata and brinchang which you will get an affordable price with reasonable distance to those two locations.

Well-positioned resort-style hotel”

Although located between Tanah Rata and Birchang the distance still enabled reasonably-priced taxi transport to either town. Both towns offer a number of tourist highlights to visit and interesting places to eat and drink. Casa de la Rosa is located near The Stoke House historical hotel. The staff were most welcoming and helpful, breakfast comprehensive with ready service.

Great Stay”

Our holiday mood was ruined due to the massive weekend traffic jam that took us almost 2 hours for a 3km distance. We came from the direction of Tanah Rata and the location of this hotel did save us some hours of being further caught in the jam. This is my first time staying in Casa, the room which we were assigned to is huge and clean & with a balcony, you can enjoy the cool air & the beautiful view of the golf course (across the street) over a cup of hot coffee. The only con about Casa is that it's located at the main road and you can hear the sound of cars passing by especially in the middle of the night when it's all quiet but I don't think this is a big issue. Buffet breakfast is served with many choices of food. Do try their steamboat, it's great too. Last but not least, I would like to commend Mr Sivam and his Team for doing a great job in ensuring their guests patronising the restaurant is all well taken care of. We will definately be back and thanks for the hospitality.

My wife and I reserved the hotel with low expectations but was wonderfully surprised when we first set eyes on the hotel. The building was wonderfully set on top of a small hill overlooking a large golf course (Good view). Once inside the hotel is clean and beautifully decorated with beautiful plants and confortable furnitures. The room was a bit small but comfortable. We had a view of a small garden in the back which my wife loved. All in all, a wonderful hotel that I would definitely visit again in the future. Thanks Casa de La Rosa!!

Great stay and value for money.”

After seeing a lot of reviews, I booked this hotel at AGODA. While this was not having the best reviews, it was exactly fitting in our budget so I booked. This hotel is located in midway between the two main town of Tanah Rata and Brinchang. The hotel looks like some fort and have a nice and quiet surrounding. It is having a beautiful garden of Roses as its name suggest :Casa De La Rosa". Talking about rooms, I paid for standard double room but was upgraded to a family room which was great. The room was very specious with all wooded furniture giving it a feel of a hill resort.Even though I liked the interior and furniture, I will suggest them to maintain the hotel since the curtains and bedsheets looks quite old though acceptable. The view from the room window was very nice. The bathroom was big with bathtub. The breakfast at hotel was "International Breakfast". It was OK for us but not great. Maybe we were eating same type of breakfast since one week so we didn't like much. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. I will recommend this hotel to someone looking for a nice stay with budget.

The room and bed is so big. My 3 month old baby sleep well. Decoration of the hotel is nice also. Near to pasar malam. Food of the hotel is delicious and variety also. The waffle is made upon request. Thank you Casa De La Rosa Hotel! Really recommended!

A very pleasant stay”

Perfect gateway for families to enjoy the cool & fresh breath of air at Cameron's Casa De La Rosa. From check-in to check-out, our stay was simply magnificent. Breakfast was satisfying with the choices of food that you can indulge yourself to the cravings you desire. Ideally located between tourist hot-spots and a beautiful view of the golf course. Lovely hotel with good weather and nice view”

it was really a nice stay in Casa De La Rosa. it was beautiful, we had our breakfast in a place where we can have the gold view. room service is good, but the staff wrongly collect my girl friend's towel. One thing about the room is that the security level is not up to level, the room is expose to the outside garden, we have to open the window because there is no fan. Outsider can actually easy enter through the opened windows.

Fine priced hotel”

We had a fine three days in Cameron highlands. also due to the central location of Casa de la rosa. The hotel is central located between the two main (and crowded) tourist attractions. from the hotel we could easily reach Tanah Rata and other Highland hotspots.
