We really enjoyed our stay at capa maumere hotel. It was my boyfriends birthday on the date we arrived and all the staff greeted us singing happy birthday with a guitar, gave us a birthday cake and welcome cocktails. The location was lovely and the views were breathtaking. The pool area was gorgeous too, perfect place to relax watching the sunrise over the bay. The hotel was very clean and the rooms too. The room was big and had a nice bathroom. The hotel itself was very quiet and so felt lacking in atmosphere, it felt more geared up for business than tourists/travellers, the only thing it missed was somebody available to give us information on the local area such as things to do, places to eat, snorkelling spots, diving etc.... It's a new hotel ( only a month old) so perhaps this will still be developed in time. I'd recommend the hotel for a peaceful, stopover for a couple of nights of rest and relaxation! The food was okay, tasty, but overpriced in relation to the local area. Our other complaint were the portion sizes were small. We both ordered the same chicken dish and both got completely different siZed portions (both small) Apart from that we really enjoyed our time here. It's a bit pricier than anywhere else in the east of Flores, if they Improved the prices of the food or the portion sizes and had staff that spoke English to offer local tourist information then I think it would be well worth the money. So definitely give it a try!

Was a stay i will remember”
Maumere a busy little town, this hotel located in the quite part of it 10-15 mnt from the center. Its a beautifull hotel, i really enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff, and a nice athmosphere. Glad i chosse this hotel.

Great hotel, location but bit pricey ”
This is a very nice hotel with a fantastic pool. Quite new, the rooms are great and staff could not be better. On the down side it's a bit out of town if you don't have your own transport. Breakfast was nothing special but with so few guests I guess hard to offer full options. Wifi in my room was poor to none. Ok in rooftop bar but at the price I would expect more. At over a million Rp it is expensive for this part of the world. But for a night on the long road through Flores was very nice.

Owners of this hotel need to set up English courses for their staff. At the moment, general staffs English is poor. Also, restaurant was only average, a missed opportunity as few good restaurants in maumere

Good value, but in need of some maintenance”
The hotel was good value and ideal for a short stop-over before catching a liveaboard elsewhere. The hotel room was clean and a good size, but the rest of the hotel was largely deserted. The bar was unmanned, and much of the decor was in need of serious maintenance. By European standards this hotel would be a maximum 3 star, with the exception of the room itself, being on par with 3-4 star. For longer stays there are a number of beach resorts along the coast which may be better suited.

Stay was nice but not worth the money”
We found the stay here nice, but nothing special for what we paid. In saying that it was hard to find accommodation in Maumere (should have booked way furtherin advance for more options). We were told the hotel was fully booked when we needed to change rooms but saw about 5 seperate guests which was strange. Hotel restuarant was expensive for what it was. Overall wasnt a bad experience; just not worth how much we paid.

Nice hotel but limited surrounds”
A pleasant enough hotel on the sea but rather squeezed into a relatively small site just off the main coast road. Very little of interest outside the hotel along the scruffy road. Very nice staff, but the restaurant is very limited and there are few, if any nearby alternatives. Flores is very under developed and this hotel is struggling to come up to international standards. But the staff were lovely!

Best in town, but not great”
Clearly the best in town but a long way to go to be up to western standards. First room, shower didn't work, and it's not a shower, it has hand held shower handle only. . So move. Both rooms had 2-bathrooms and one roll TP. Tv had a few English channels but blurry. Internet not reliable, but At least sometimes it worked in room, whereas most places in Flores it's only in the lobby. Food ok, staff really tried. But first morning go breakfast, they have espresso machine! But broken, :( Go lobby bathroom, no TP in male or female bathroom. Ask for it, ten minutes later go back, still not there. Ask for three eggs, get three plates of eggs. Had good boat for diving but couldn't go bc some guy booked it for whole stay to go tuna fishing. Only this place and one other hotel have dive shop, which is only reason to go here, it was great diving.

The best and most luxury hotel in Maumere with affordable price.”
Room is quite big and clean. Nice facilities such as fitness center, infinity pool facing the sea and a dock in the backyard (the sea water is very clear). The minus points: breakfast is too simple for 4 stars hotel, lots of mosquitos at night, and because the location is in remote area, it is difficult to find a place to eat

Awesome place to relax and use as a base”
Really great place. Trendy design, clean, functional and quiet. Staff are amazing! The infinity pool has a good view of an island and a small port. Really enjoyed our stay. 15 minutes from the airport.

Very nice hotel ”
I was travelling with a friend for mount kelimutu. Yes, it's far from there, but I'm glad we stayed there over the options available. The hotel was only a year old so still in very good condition and staff we're amazingly helpful.

Very comfortable and clean room and overall hotel however the F and B was ok but choices less than average . Fortunately we had our own wine ! Staff pleasant and helpful but need more training

Bad location, extremely slow and incompetent restaurant staff, good rooms”
The location is pretty bad as there is nothing in the surrounding worth to go (no other restaurants nearby!), there is no beach, just the tiny swimming pool with milky water. The restaurant staff is really extremely slow and doesnt understand you. The dishes were often dirty...which is quite strange as the staff doesn't have a lot to do. The positive about the hotel is the facility itself, the rooms and the receptionists are friendly and helpful.
