The Manor at Camp John Hay is the best place to stay when in Baguio. You can enjoy a nice walk in the morning or even in the afternoon. It is far from the hustle and bustle of the city but still very accessible if you would want to indulge in what the heart of the city offers. But for us, THE MANOR is still the best! There is this very unique cafe, BATIROL which serves the best hot chocolate...perfect for the cold weather in Baguio! this is a MUST TRY when you visit Baguio or John Hay for the first time...

This hotel is located at a very good spot in Camp John Hay - very easy to drive to from Kennon Road, and there are a lot of nearby (walking distance) tourist spots within Camp John Hay. Staff were very kind, friendly, and attentive, and we felt very welcome and well-attended to. The buffet breakfast was recommended to us by a friend, and it really was great! Dinner was also great in the in-house restaurant - steaks were cooked right, complimentary drinks and dessert, and very attentive waiters. Some improvement needs to be done on the internet over wifi (for business travellers). If you want to use the heated pool, you'll also have to inform the front desk at least an hour before, so they can turn on the heater first and let the pool warm up. Overall, if not the best, one of the best places to stay in Baguio, and this will be my default hotel in the area.

Forest Lodge hotel in Camp John Hay in Baguio is one of the best hotels situated near the heart of Baguio. Located inside Camp John Hay gives you access to a lot of amenities and also food shops and restaurants such as the Mile Hi center, Filling Station and the famous Techno Hub where JCo donuts, Army Navy, Sumo Sam, Starbucks, Volante, Seafood Island, FIC and many more food stops can be tried.

I badly needed a break that's why I went to Baguio and this hotel is just perfect. Located far from the busy city proper, I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings. It rained during my stay but it was fine because there's a restaurant and a Starbucks shop right beside it where you can just hang out while waiting for the rain to stop. There was no a/c unit inside the room but I don't think it's needed anyway. I just had to open the windows to let the cold air in. The best thing about it is it's inside Camp John Hay but it's not as expensive as the other hotels in the area. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Baguio.

Our house accommodated 14 adults and children very comfortably. There are enough beds for 16 adults. 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms plus a loft with two double beds and a sleeper couch. The dining room and large deck were perfect for entertaining our large group. The 5 gallon water cooler was much appreciated. The living room, loft and master bed room each had a flat screen tv. DVD player in the living room. Nice little coffee shop above the lobby. Very friendly English speaking front desk staff. Security guards at the compound entrance. This place was the perfect vacation spot for our American and Filipino family. This was the first time the entire family was together in one place. Will return from the states again in 5 yrs and stay at St Patrick Village for sure. Thank you for the perfect vacation. James and May Mitchell
