Amazing place to relax ”

Very nice resort with beautiful pool and garden. Rooms are super clean & comfortable. The beach is 1km to walk. The Ong lang beach is the best beach in Phuc Quoc to relax. If you want party than you should go to Long beach area. Also I think its perfect families with kids. If you want to go to city just ask at reception and rent a scooter - its the best way to explore island. nearby are some really good restaurants: 1. So true; 2. Family Inn. Resort food is also really good. (try fresh and fried spring rools). Staff is amazing friendly and helpful.

Pleasant stay at Camellia Resort & Spa”

The stay at the Camellia Resort & Spa was good. It was a budget stay so I can’t complain about it. Staff were very friendly and although they couldn’t really speak English we managed through a google translate to sort things out. The room was very big and the AC worked well apart the first couple of nights when it leaked but this was sorted out. The bed was hard but I was made aware that this is kind of standard for Vietnamese hotels so won’t be making any fuss about it. The shower and the bathroom were good and the rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast was okay, quite repetitive given that I spent there 10 nights. On occasions things weren’t available and there wasn’t enough (late breakfast) but if you were early - first thing in the morning there was plenty of food. “The egg and soup lady” was friendly and made tasty eggs. The only criticism I can give is that water in a pool was a bit cloudy which I think was due to water filter not working and the sun beds had no padding.

Great hospitality, quiet and relaxing vacation”

My wife and I were looking for a beach holiday in Phu Quoc and were very happy with our choice at Camellia. The website needs to be a bit more clear about location of the hotel in proximity to beach, as it is about a 10-12 minute walk. The hotel loaned us bikes one day for getting there and drove us down to the beach another day; the hotel van also picked us up and returned us to the airport. We also like to alternate and spend time in the hotel swimming pool, which was very pleasant, clean, and well accommodated with chairs and access to food and drink from the kitchen. Meals all times of the day were wonderful, great hospitality from all staff, and in the end a successful and very pleasing pre-Christmas holiday in Vietnam.

Vietnam 6228 Quiet and lovely Review of Camellia Resort & Spa Reviewed 4 days ago via mobile It's located down a long country road about 10 min walk to the village and 20 min to a beach ..the pool is lovely , decent size and very well kept ,as is the whole property, clean & green , decent sized rooms, aircon good. Clean, hot water in shower though not basin. Comfortable and well equipped . The staff are very friendly, nice little bar at the dining area only local wine , but it's ok . Food was fine , breakfast really good . Enjoyed my stay and would recommend and return ! Thank you !

Friendly staff, nice pool and spacious room!”

Room was clean and spacious although some things need fixing (power point). Can be noisy if you get noisy guests at night in the pool with their voices raised! Nice view as rooms face the pool. Breakfast was decent enough. Easy to arrange for transport. Ong Lang beach by foot 1km away. Easy to find. Some restsurants outside the resort, just left and right down tge road. Rather far from An Thoi port so be prepared to pay for transport! Food is generally a bit on the high side throughout the island

Lovely stay”

Camellia Resort offers lovely quiet location, reasonable distance from two different beaches in Ong Lang/Mango Bay area. We found the staff generally helpful, James (manager) in particular went the extra distance to ensure our needs were met. The Resorts grounds are quite nice, and breakfast was very nice to give us a good start each day.

Friendly and helpful staff”

We had a nice 3 nights stay in Camellia Resort. Were served by the staff nicely especially Anna the receptionist, and Ms. Chi the waitress. They are super helpful to our every single needs during our stay. The air conditioner in room was leaking and noisy. It's time to do a little maintenance I guess??? It's about 15mins walk to beach.

Wonderful place in a slighly less touristy part of the island”

We enjoyed our time at Camellia Resort and Spa, the staff were very helpful. The hotel was about average like most we have stayed at. The location to the beach was about a 10 mins walk away but we enjoyed it here and would stay again!

The hotel is a 15 min country walk to the beautiful Ong Lang beach. If walking at night it’s a little far to go to many restaurants as the dirt road is unlit. The beach bar has free loungers and is good for lunches, the beach is amazingly litter free!

Fantastic and professional staff, location accessible to the best Ong Lang beach”

Tri, Bich and Nhan to name just a few. Staff are friendly and professional, understanding the need of customers. Services are exceeding our expectations. 15-20min to Ong Lang beach - clear and calm water. There is no gym, but I give 5 stars 🌟 for value for money.

Excellent stay! ”

We stayed two nights at the Camelli resort and it was just perfect. It was a warm welcome and the rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel is small, quiet and peaceful, despite the pool is in the centre. The garden is beautiful as well. The location is perfect, it is a quiet area but lots of restaurants on walking distance or by bike (hotel offers this for free). The beautiful beach is closeby and the beachbar Lina is for the hotel guest, which offers a lovely lunch. The staff of the resort is also very kind and helpful to make your stay even better. If I should advice two improvements it would be: add yoghurt at breakfast and soft sunbeds. We have had a wonderful stay and I would recommend this resort to everyone (families, couples and solo travellers).

Amazing! ”

We were recently in Camellia and would like to wormly recommend it to everybody. The rooms are big and clean, the food is tasty, lovely clean white sand beach is only 10min away. Bus the best without any doubt is the staff, incredibly friendly, helpful and polite - first among them Mr. Bo! Thank you and for sure see you again

Amazing friendly quiet place”

After staying at a supposed 4star Camellia left it for dead. this place & their staff are 4stars plus. This stay was an absoloute pleasure, breakfast buffet had great choices - even considerate of vegetarians. The vegetarian claypot is something special - so much so I had to have it for lunch before I left. h Whole hearedly recommend this place.

Perfect place”

Great place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff who made everytings we needs. They have the best food in Phu Quoc, cook was exellent.

Beautiful and simple seclude day location ”

We loved it here and thought it was a great deal. Beautiful and simple accommodations, great pool. The Beach is perfect and only about a 15 minute walk away (with beach bars and such but not crazily crowded). Great restaurants nearby and excellent breakfast at the hotel. Bao, the manager, couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. We would absolutely return and wish this new resort the best!

Perfect place to stay of you are in a group or with a family”

We were really impressed by the hospitality of the resort especially Mr Bau who is the Assistant Manager there. Our flight was delayed and we reached around midnight. Mr Bau was kind enough to prepare dinner for us at that time. Rest of the Staff is very friendly too they don't understand english, so we used google translator. Resort is 20 mins of drive from city center but you can hire bike from the resort at a reasonable rate. Pool is clean and rooms are clean too. Overall we were satisfied with our stay. Manager is keen to improve their service and ask for improvement ideas.

The most wonderful thing here is the staffs. They are always charming and lovely. They are working hard to keep the resort very comfortable for the guests. My son loved the pool. I think he loved it even more than the beaches! Our room was clean, large and pleasant. The breakfast was outstanding. It gave me a really good start of the days. The resort is a bit far from the beaches, 15 to 20min by walk, but located in a very quiet and peaceful surrounding.

Good service ”

When I arrived at the resort I was really impressed by their warmth welcome to us and always give us the best service. 1 night when we was caught in the rain they umbrella us from our vehicle to the resort lobby and even offered us towels to dry ourselves. Their staffs are all very friendly even though there's a bit of communication problems but they try to understand their guests and give their best service. I would strongly recommend this stay. Would love to come back again with this resort.

Awesome place to relax!”

Loved our stay here!! Friendly staff, clean and tidy place but quite far from the “city” however in saying this there is 2 beaches nearby & also a very yummy restaurant called “bittersweet” that is only a 5min walk away and it’s got such good food!! The resort is awesome to chill at and you can arrange tours at the reception. Will be back again for sure!
