"Wonderful historic waterfront location in Russell village. Our large verandah overlooked the moored yachts and the Ferries coming and going to and from the wharf. Our huge room had a stunning interior design and two sets of French doors opening on to the verandah. The lovely dining room looks out to the water and was warmed by a traditional fire and a wall displaying the History of the early years in this part of New Zealand."

"We went there for a quick Christmas holiday. Need to take the ferry to reach Russel, but wasn't hard at all. Hide in the corner and face the water. Very peaceful and beautiful. Family feeling environment. The dog there is so cute. "

"Very good . . Manager is gracious and responsive. But I think the cost exceeds the value. If the cost were less (for a night's stay), the B&B would have more people there. It's a basic place."
