                  Good budget hotel”

                  Location, cleanliness, and price

                  This hotel is conveniently located near the Menara Gadang or Jam Gadang, and the Lubang Jepang. We can easily find transport and foods from the hotel. Price is just right. On minus side, few hotel facilities does not work well e.g. shower. Other than that, I am happy to come here again.

                  Meet our expectation with reasonable price. Fast check-in and check-out service. Staff is polite and helpful. Decent Indonesian breakfast. Hotel is very near to local attraction such as Jam Gandang, shopping area and restaurants (within walking distance).

                  Unsatisfaction with the staff cafeteria”

                  Room, food and cleanliness was great.

                  The room, food and staff at the front desk was good. However the girls in the cafeteria during breakfast were not to my liking. One of them was not friendly, serious face. I saw her smiling brightly to the male guest but showing so-and-so face to me.. I coincidentally broke a cup during breakfasti think they put the glass too high (3 tier). I took the upper tier glass and suddenly my hand touched the lower tier of the cup, then a cup fell on the floor. I said sorry but the girls without trying to comfort me (with her sour faces) just clean the floor. They asked me to pay for the broken cup but they told me it cost Rp15.000 and the sour faces girl corrected it cost Rp20.000.I mean that they could tell me nicely,it's ok mdm don't worry we will clean the pieces but unfortunately you hv to pay for this broken cup. Then if i heard that i wouldn't mind paying the Rp25.000(later been told by the front desk receptionist). So i would like the hotel to educate the employees to always show nice face and remember the price of cutlery well.

                  location okay, cheap enough

                  I would not recommend this hotel. Room is okay but a bit small. The bathroom is the worst aspect of this hotel. There are taps for both hot and cold water BUT no hot water came out of the hot tap. So for whole day ...morning and evening I was unable to take by bath ... I went to bed without a bath! Remember, Bukit Tinggi is up in the hills -- cold! The bathroom floor is of glazed tiles -- makes it very slippery and is very dangerous --- you can just fall! We put the hotel towel on the floor and walk on it to make sure we not slip!

                  The hotel was clean in and out. The rooms were rather small but they were clean. The air-cond worked well. Buffet breakfast was also good. Location is great, within short walking distance to Jam Gadang.

                  The hotel had card machine connection issue and they do not accept RM.. after many attempts in a few days card finalky went through.. Keeping the physicalpp as a guarantee is not the best option for card line problem.. details are available at agoda and we could have been asked for a 1 nite payment with attempts on card payment on day 2.

                  My stay there was good because of the short walking distance from hotel to Jam Gadang and Lubang Jepang. There was also a lot of stores operated as early as 7 am infront of the hotel made us easier to go for shopping.

                  Good Location

                  I booked 2 rooms. The hotel location itself is strategic since its walking distance to Pasar Atas and Jam Gadang. Small room. Breakfast not much choice. We were served with on the second day breakfast.The staff realize that and then took away. The kitchen then fried another batch of fried rice and it smells garbage. The toilet in room was really in bad condition. The water in basic and shower doesn't went down easily and it flooded all the way. We put up with that condition for 2 days. I heard there are many complaint on this issue and I wish the management should do something about this. Other than that the hotel is alright for short stay.

                  The hotel is worn out. The paint on the wall is worn out. The hot water goes up and down on its own. The furniture is worn out. The sheets are not that clean.
