Relaxing and peaceful with good homemade food. ”
Excellent. The beautiful traditional clean cottage, friendly people and excellent food are the top of the list. Although our health were not good at that time, the owner, Terry and Diana were very accommodating. Twice a day there were electrical switch, so there were blackouts for a few minutes; but this made our experience there more precious. One of the reasons we chose Bunaken was to be faraway from the busy city life and to see different kind of life (underwater life). They have excellent diving equipment and instructors (and friendly, too). We recommend Bunaken Divers Sea Breeze Resort and will go there again.

A great place to stay”
This resort is on the 'clean' side of Bunaken island. The beach is a narrow strip but you can go snorkelling just off shore in the early evening which is lovely. The owner organises great diving and snorkelling trips and can even get you a glass-bottom boat if you want! The rooms are kept clean (not a bug in sight)and have good mosquito nets and fans. The hammocks and chairs on the cabin decks mean you can chill out easily. The sea-view cabins are the best for this. Some cabins at the back have a restricted view. The set meals are delicious and and the menu changes daily. There was a real mix of people staying here - divers and non-divers and the owner and staff treated all with the same respect, which was really nice to see. We stayed 4 nights at this place and had an absolutely amazing time, so we strongly recommend it.

Good Folks - Nice Stay”
We had a few days to spare on a trip to watch our student compete - and almost win :-) the English Jr High School National Storytelling Competition. So we stayed at Bunaken Divers Sea Breeze. A very satisfying experience with friendly/helpful staff and a good experience for novice snorkelers like ourselves.

Quiet place to rest after a great dive”
I stayed in the beach front bungalow 1 for 6 nights. I was glad to see that I got my own terrace with a hammock just like it was advertised in the picture. The bungalow was in good condition and it has a big window so it's always bright inside. The staff cleans it upon request and also hands out clean towels without having to ask. Sleeping there after diving during the day was very easy thing to do since the room is equipped with s mosquito net and the neighborhood is very quiet. In fact you can hear the waves while lying in bed. Indonesian breakfast, lunch and dinner was served plentiful in a buffet style and I never left the place hungrily. The only cons I noticed during my stay were that electricity, water and Internet suplly broke down once in while. However, it's a small island and I think most other resorts are struggling with the lacking public infrastructure, too. During my stay the owner Terry wasnt there but I was welcomed by Myka who has a very good feeling what western travellers are looking for and he did a great job making my stay at sea breeze very enjoyable.

Wonderful 2 weeks”
We enjoyed our stay with Diane and Terry and their staff. We dove and snorkeled the house reef, alternating every day. Dive guide Dempsey was wonderful to dive with. He found amazing things like a rare yellow pygmy seahorse, ornate ghost pipefish, robust pipefish and endless nudibranch. I have always liked the Luikan 2 dive but Mike's corner is a wonderful site and new to me. Also enjoyed Siladan dives. Food was really good and plentiful with many vegetarian options. I enjoyed the diverse people we met, young and older. Our cottage was a garden view, but we also had a sea view from the deck. GB3! Wifi in the dining area worked well, but best when fewer people online. We had a fan and mosquito net. We were very comfortable at night. The island had daily power outages, but not really a big problem. The resort is just outside of the main village and easy walk to town. I did appreciate that the filter used for tank fills is changed frequently, as I did not experience any respiratory issues like I usually do when diving with rental equipment. Thanks for a good time and cold beer!

Nice hotel with almost excellent service”
Nice resort but cottages need to renew. I understood that some kind of renewing project is going but not all in one time. Very good staff who gave good service. Food was mostly good but breakfast maybe needs more imagination. Nice restaurant also. The worst thing was maybe the internet connection which didn't work very well but the connection was for hours away every day. Cottage with sea view was very nice but the bathroom/toilet not the best construction because the shower was not separately and the floor was always wet. However we used this and it didn't disturb so much after one day. The location of the resort very good and we could snorkel from the beach. Very nice coral reef to snorkel. This time we didn't need mosquito nets in nighttime. Maybe more mosquitos in other garden cottages. Resort was worth of the price!

Lovely place for Divers”
this tiny island has a few hotels and the sea breeze seemed to cater for my needs. there is no a/c in the rooms, just a fan. the shower and toilet facilities are adequate but not posh. the food is good wholesome indonesian food. you will need to use the mosquito nets that are provided. think of this hotel as a diving/backpacking hotel and you won't go far wrong. the downside is the wi-fi which when it worked at all is very poor. if you need to keep in touch with the internet, either by a 3g card, or choose another hotel. overall; i loved this resort hotel. the diving crew are relaxed. the boss keeps them in check, but you won't get the "your 2nd stage is at the wrong angle" type stuff. the diving itself is fantastic.

Sea breeze indeed”
Stayed in one of the sea facing bungalows. Cleanliness and comfort is up to standard for a fairly isolated location like this one: hot water, electricity constant enough, wifi in restaurant, comfortable bed... one thing that stands out is how close this resort is to the sea. The restaurant where the 3 buffet meals are served is literally sitting on beach rocks. Definitely recommended whether you want to chill or dive (the aussie owner and instructor is very skilled)

Rustic life”
It's located on an island, so don't except luxury fanciful stay. People are nice, food was limited choice. It can get boring if stay for many days as nothing much to do around the island unless you rent a boat. Stay was comfortable, no hot water and water not very fresh, but as expected from an island. Internet only available at the restaurant, pretty decent and fast, but sometimes electricity may be off for conservation. It's a great place to meet other travellers.

Sea Breeze is bliss”
The staff were very hard working and the location ideal (bar and rooms). Best snorkeling on the island was right off the beach/reefrim. Not much to do on the island apart from amazing diving, book reading in hammocks and drinking in the evenings with interetsing European travellers. We had the most relaxing holiday of our lives here!

great place lovely staff”
Have a great 4 day stay the staff are very friendly and could not be more helpful. The snorkeling was as good as the diving. The dives were very good. My only complaint is that even though you have to pay 150,000IDR national park fee there is a lot of rubbish in the water. This washes over from Manado If the government was using this money were it should be used this would not be happening. The resort owners really need to work on this issue as it will effect their trade in the long run. There are many other places were the diving is as good if not better and the park fees are used to keep them clean and preserved.

Sea breeze whole day whole night long”
I could listen to the tides in the quiet of the night. So breezy that I left door open at night too. Just the joy of hanging around in the balcony the whole day is worth the price of the room. The hospitality is great - a very family feel. Terry the dive director is a swell guy and helps out with everything. The house reef and low-tide shore life is fantastic - can see even moray eels even at ankle-deep water. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Fully recommended ”
The hotel offers a very basic accommodation (no air-conditioning and only cold water), but extremely clean and well maintained. The manager(Terry) and his team are extremely hands on and make all guests feel welcome and appreciated. The food is very tasty and there is a variety of choice. The hotel has got an access to all fantastic snorkeling / diving sites. There is a very friendly atmosphere which contributes to a proper rest. Not to be recommended to guests who look for a nice beach. There is not much to offer in this respect on this side of the island.

Super nice staff, very helpful, and awesome diving! We had a great time!”
The bungalows are clean and have everything you need, showers are saltwater but you can ask for freshwater as well. Snorkeling in front of the resort was great, and diving was absulutely amazing! Such a great biodiversity and very clean water.

Great location for diving/snorkling, room is ok”
I attracted to stay in this hotel because of the view, and when i get there it is really beautiful. You get 3 times meal a day, and the food is ok. I stayed at the Beach Front Bungallow with 3 beds, the room is spacious, but i don't like the shower and toilet, it is dirty and wet all the time. Maybe they should think how to let sunshine in and dry the toilet. The beds are hard, and the musquito screen surrounds the beds are in cone shape, it doesn't give much space inside the bed. If they make the musquito screen in rectangle shape, it would be better. Internet is using shared 3G modem, so slow. Overall i would recommend this resort because it is worth to see the sunshine in the morning, easy access to the taxi boat, and the price is cheap.

Basic hotel, great diving”
Pros: diving was great, dive guide John and all staff were really good and friendly, equipment was in good condition and the resort has 2 boats so it shouldn't be too overcrowded and allows for visiting different dive/snorkeling sites, unlimited free water/coffee/tea, there's also a great snorkeling reef just outside the resort, overall we enjoyed our stay Not so good: some bathroom fittings look beyond old and could really do with replacing, shower and tap are saltwater only but there's a fresh water bucket - it's fine but think this should be advertised to manage expectations, for hot water you have to pay extra, food was okay but high reliance on carbs, not much fruit, and as vegetarian there was very limited choice, overall it was more basic than we expected for the money, internet very patchy due to poor local network (so don't expect much streaming time but booking stuff should be ok)

not really like what we expect....”
a little bit disapointed: no beach transportation expensive from the port of manado check out at 9.30 am, which is too early the rooms doesn't explain the price bring your card games because there is not so much thing to do, except diving and snokerling good points: nice staff good food good place even for snokerling

best snorkelling”
Snorkeling on the reef for extremely good, boats and staff working on snorkeling trips and the resort staff were very good, resort itself was OK, clean but basic, in terms of both accommodation and food. No air conditioning. Electricity kept switching off and staying off for long times, heaps of mosquitoes - bring DEEF spreay and coils to burn in your room. Wifi did not work at all for a few days.
