Nice hotel! With a great Waterpark. The hotel is huge with a confusing layout. Took a while to get our bearings and how best to get to room, car, pools, etc. The staff was extremely friendly and the waterpark was great. Dont plan on bringing your own drinks to the park. You need to buy drinks from the bar (no big deal.) My 5 year old was bummed he was not tall enough to go on the slides. Believe you need to be 48". Park closed earlier than we liked 5pm and 6pm on weekends. Overall was a great trip. The family had fun and the kids did not want to leave. Good value as the room was larger than expected. Clean with friendly staff. Thank you AZ Grand Resort & Spa.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We came in very late the first night and got a king bed suite despite having reserved a 2 queen bed suite. The gal at the front desk was super accommodating though and told me to check in with her the next morning to see if a 2 queen bed suite became available. Well there was no need to follow up with her because she called me and let me know a room had opened up. Front desk staff was very sweet and helpful and did what they could. As for other aspects of the hotel, the beds were pretty comfy and it had what we needed. We were also very impressed with the complimentary breakfast which included 2 types of scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage links, waffles, and breakfast potatoes--in addition to the usual fare of cereal, coffee, juice, etc. The cleanliness left something to be desired though, particularly the pull out sofa bed and sheet it comes with. It was gross to say the least. Overall, if I'm staying in the area and want to save $, I'd stay again.

I will not book another say because of the lack of communication I am getting from Agoda. in regards to 233131254, I believe around November 24. An email regarding my issue was sent saying resolved but in reality to me it was not. Can't get a human on the phone and still believe that you are still holding my money and I have no room for these dates. I am very unhappy about this matter.

I travel and stay in hotels on a routine basis with work. Despite the high number of hotels I utilize in locations of all types, this is by far the worst stay I've had in years. Law Enforcement in the parking lots every day to deal with crime, drug addicts passed out in the parking lot landscaping, trash everywhere, dirty rooms that smelled and had stains on the carpets, furniture and bedding.

I booked and PAID for my room through agoda with my paypal account. I checked in and the guy at the front desk said your room is all paid for all he needed was a credit card for incidentals. When I got home my credit card had also been charged full amount for the stay. I called the hotel and they said they needed proof that I had paid in advance for the stay. I sent them the paypal receipt which is proof that I had already paid. Hotel said agoda failed to send them proof of payment. It would have been a nice stay however being charged twice is crap. My time is very valuable and I don't have the time to deal with incompetency. I will never use agoda again nor will I stay at Candlewood Suites.

I greatly enjoyed the hotel and I was very pleased with the service and the excellent amenities. It is located in a “busy” part of the city which was nice in case something was needed from a store, gas station, restaurant. etc. Unfortunately, I was very unhappy with the provider for my hotel room booking (AGODA). I read and followed the instructions with Agoda to book my room. I was supposed to receive a discount. The discount was not applied to my final bill. After being quoted and paying an amount higher than what I anticipated, I contacted Agoda. Agoda responded to my issue by via email indicating that I should have chosen a different payment option. This was not in the instructions! I spoke to another guest who reserved a room via another website, stayed at the same time, and paid less money for the same accommodations. I will definitely stay at the Springhills Suites in Tempe, but more than likely I will not book again through Agoda.
