It's all good in the woods. The best part about glamping is that you get the best of both worlds which includes nature and comfort - and Boulder Valley did the best! Cleanliness : 10/10 Customer service : 10/10 Facilities : 10/10 Amenities : 10/10 Location : 7/10 Located in Teluk Bahang, Boulder Valley is one of YOU MUST SEE place in Penang! Been eyeing for a glamping experience quite a while, until I knew about Boulder Valley (after almost 1hour of scrolling down resort/hotel to stay in Penang!) and really glad I found 'em! Comparing Boulder Valley to any other glamping hotspot, they offers much more cheaper price! Yet the facilities and amenities are all complete! Great job to each and every manpower behind Boulder Valley, congratulations! ❤

Close to nature”

Pros: very attentive staff, delicious breakfast and dinner, spacious room, nice room view , free buggy car ride during check in n check out, not suitable for elderly people, but must prepare mosquitoes repellent during your stay, need to bring our own toothbrush n toothpaste( only shampoo provided in room), very slow wifi

Well managed place. Clean spacious tents with superb terraces giving view on the jungle (or nearby trees). All neccesary amenites are provided, there are common areas for meeting playing games etc, decent swimming pool, food is good altough choice is limited. Well mantained trails to walk around the premises. The place is good for those who want to feel the touch of the jungle without deep preparations, being 'there and in' but staying in comfortable conditions. If You go there consider your own transport (car) as Grab is rather difficult to catch there, and there are no scooters to rent. To get to main road it is about 1km up the hill, and this road is narrow and quite busy so walking is not comfortable neither safe.

Duvet”

Because it was located deep in the forest, it gives the best experience of nature. However, i wish they could use a thick duvet for the room. It was so cold in the middle of the night and also early in the morning with those thin blanket. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay there. Such a tranquility.

This place is absolutely stunning. We had tent B15 and I fell I love with it straight away. It's spacious and and views around it including the huge balcony was mind blowing. Everything is provided from toiletries, towels, drinks making facilities, fridge, safety deposits box, hair dryer, a.c. etc. I actually am thinking of returning here to celebrate a special day. On the cons side, the lights go out at 12 midnight so there's not much you can do with kids after that. But usually the day activities make them so tired that they go to sleep. It's away from the hussle and bussle so if you want to do activities while staying here then you need to use a car or taxi.

Yang, the chef is very passionate and ensured our meals were up to our expectations. He even served us complimentary dumplings when we were having a go at the Foosball table!

It was a good place for relax vacation. All staff are friendly and the tent villa was clean and neat. This was one of the best place to stay if you like natural.

If you into nature then thus is the place for you. But it is in a very remote area. Make sure to arrange your transport ahead with the hotel side if you don't have your own transport. E hailing driver is hard to find nearby too

There's no netting, so it was either sleep in AC or open the windows for fresh clean air (the reason we went up there) and be eaten alive. Place was not well designed

Get up close with nature”

Boulder Valley was breathtaking bcos you get to feel the peace and tranquility by being close to nature. Woke up to the sound of birds chirping and enjoy the cool breeze, especially when it rains. However the hotel could've be more courteous in welcoming guests & ensuring their stay is an unforgettable one. With the price paid, I think they could have at least prepared a welcoming drink, or treat each family with some durians since the owner owns a durian orchard and the valley is surrounded by durian trees. Unfortunately what we got was just free smell eventho it was durian season. It was also a pity that there were no activities around. We were expecting a guided jungle trekking at least, or dinner by campfire would be a steal. However we noticed that they didn't have enough manpower, since the surrounding area look pretty unkempt. Hopefully the hotel can improve in time to come so that guests would feel this place is worth their money.

The room light deco very beautiful. With own balcony surrounded by the jungle. While check in, they even provided an insect repellent for u (complimentary). While check in and check out, will need the staff to send u together with the luggages to the place u stay. The staff are very friendly, they even help to deliver the breakfast to our door step. My wife and son love here so much. I am going to recommend this hotel to my friends and my family members. Great job. Note: The check in time is 3pm (boulder Valley policy) instead of 2pn as mentioned by Agoda.
