It was lucky to be here”
A young and kind married couple running this cozy hotel. Even if you have no plan in Sapa yet, no need to worry. Because when you check-in here, a first thing they do is giving you a kindful and useful guide for sapa trip(they are very fluent in Eng) Room is so clean and quiet, and if you stay up to 3rd floor you might see a nice view because of its nice location. and this is the my best hotel where gave me a plenty of hot water in the shower room. and also, they gave you a 500ml bottle water!!(yeah!! not 350ml!!) They will welcome you with a warm smile. It was very nice experience to stay here. I hope others should feel this hotel. Enjoy the Sapa and Botanic sapa! (And sometimes you can meet a cute puppy in lobby. He is their family. He is sooooo cute!)

A lovely find, made very special by Van the owner”
Botanic Sapa is a 4 bedroom family hotel which offers wonderful personal service, care and huge attention to detail. Van and her husband speak perfect English, they are bright, articulate, entrepreneurial couple who are part of the new Vietnam. It was an absolute pleasure to meet them. Van’s recommendations of where to eat were excellent and she also offers a laundry service which was very useful. We stayed a total of 4 nights (split across two weeks) and they were able to look after our luggage while we were trekking. We will be recommending Botanic Sapa to all our friends and family and certainly hope to return one day too. Botanic Sapa has far more charm than larger establishments - you experience the real Vietnam.

Best hotel in Sapa”
We arrived early morning to Sapa and checked in to Botanic Hotel. Lovely family which runs hotel welcomed us with cup of hot coffee and gave us full information about town and sightseeing. I haven't found any negative side from our staying. Everything was amazing: cozy room, breakfast, view from balcony, internet working well, location of hotel just in center of town, there are lots of restaurants around. Owners could help to arrange any tour and transfer and give you fair recommendations. If we are visit Sapa again, we will stay only at Botanic Hotel.

Perfect place to stay in Sapa!”
Botanic Sapa is a cute, small hotel which is kept perfectly clean. The hotel-owners are super helpfull and give you usefull information about what to do in Sapa for an authentic experience. Breakfast is cooked freshly for you. We did a 2-day hike in Sapa and we could leave our big backpacks at the hotel, and after we came back we could also use the shower! We only stayed one night, but if we would come back to Sapa I would definately book Botanic Sapa hotel again.

A small gem amidst Sapa's pandemonium.”
It's hard to believe how quiet it is at Botanic Sapa, given the incessant construction noise throught the town. You'll have a hard time finding more gracious hosts in Sapa. Van and her husband are welcoming, acommodating and delightful companions. The rooms - all four of them - are cozy and clean. There's lots of hot water, which can be important if you're in Sapa during the cooler months. Be aware you must climb stairs to get to Botanic Sapa. The payoff is that those stairs are on a small, not very busy alley. Very highly recommended!

Amazing Stay in Sapa”
I stayed at the Botanic Sapa Hotel for three days in December. Due to the weather I only did a day trek which was arranged by Van, the proprietor. It was the most fun I’ve had in awhile! Van, her husband and her little girl are the sweetest and most hospitable people. Always there to assist in any travel issues. The room was great and also plenty warm, which was important at the time of year that I went. The breakfast every morning is cooked to order and I couldn’t get enough of Van’s pho. It warmed me up and gave me energy for the day ahead. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nicest host!”
We had a very pleasant stay at the Botanic Sapa. Van and her husband are really friendly and very helpful, the little daughter so cute! Van made our trip to Sapa very easy since we had nothing planned yet and she organized us a nice hiking trip and gave us tipps how to get the best in our time. The room was nice and clean with a great view, only it was very hard to get the humidity out of the bathroom. With the heating and the heating blanked we were warm and cozy, no problem with cold. Thank you, Van, if we come back, we definitely stay with you again!

It was the best choice in Sapa.”
I had a plan to stay Sapa during 1 night and 2 days. But when I arrived Hanoi, I had an accident, so I missed the day bus to Sapa. I noticed this situation around 3PM at that day, and I arrived almost 5 AM at the hotel on the next day. But the hotel was greeted me. And on the next day, I could see great Sapa view at the terrace of the room. I could have great breakfast, noodle soup made by the female owner - The rice noodle is one of the best noodle in Vietnam - Indeed she explain around the village and recommended tour course in fluent english. And her recommendation was excellent so I could make the best choice, going to Mt. Fansipan with great, sunny weather. Even though it was hard to find the hotel at 4-5AM, but I think that it can be a great choice to stay for you.

Just perfect”
After a couple of nights in homestays, we were looking for a little bit more comfort and freedom (not being tied to your homestay for food and activities). We found Botanic Sapa to be the perfect solution. It is located at the edge of Sapa, so you still have good views, but you have all the advantages of being in the city. The room was very comfortable and of good value. But the best part was our host Vân: from the second we met her, she had such a great vibe and energy. She made us feel super welcome, gave us great info on where to go, and really took the time to sit us down and listen to our needs, to propose a tailor made plan for the day. Vân was the best host we met on our entire trip to Vietnam. You won't regret staying here!

A hotel you wouldn't want to miss in Sapa”
If you want to look for a good hotel, you might be able to find it everywhere in Sapa but if you are looking for a place to stay like home, this is the place you should go for. The owner Ms. Van is the friendliest Hotel owner that I've ever met. She is able to speak fluent English and most importantly she will give you advice when necessary. I've planned for trekking in Sapa and she advised me to rent a boot instead of wearing my normal trekking shoes as the trek is slippery during rainy day. Thank god I took up her advice else I can't imagine what will happen me. Last but not least, she even recommended on picking the bus seat on driver side to enjoy a better view during our trip back to Hanoi. She just like my sister who always remind and give suggestion on our trip. The best "family" type of hotel for me.

Wonderful hosts once you get past the money for early check in question.”
We arrived in Sapa on the night bus from Hanoi at 3.30 AM in the morning. Luckily, we were allowed to sleep on the bus for another 2 hours until a taxi driver boarded the bus, woke everyone up and told us to get off the bus. In our sleep deprived states, we all did. Walking 15 minutes with our bags in the rain, followed by a Vietnamese woman offering us a homestay, the last thing we wanted to talk about was money. But when we arrived at the guesthouse, we were told that early check in would be $10 (or $15 as per the email to check in at 3.30 AM). Luckily for us, he backed down after we showed no signs of paying it and let us check in early for free. I would say that the hotel is located a little bit away from the centre of Sapa, and it is, but there isn't really much to do in town. The husband and wife duo are extremely helpful when telling you what to do immediately outside of town though. They provide you with a useful map of the surrounding area and give you plenty of options that you can do, on your own or with a tour that they offer to book. The room comes with a decent sized bathroom and 1 double and 1 single bed perfect for families with children. The room comes with air con, although this might not be necessary in the colder months and I didn't see or ask if they had a heater due to the pleasant summer temperature. Unfortunately, Sapa was wet amd foggy for the two days we stayed there and didn't really live up to our expectations. The hotel, on the other hand, did.

Homely ”
Family who runs the place is friendly and really helpful. The place is right down the street and into the alley from sapa square. In the busier part of sapa. They have a cute puppy and a bigger dog which made the stay Super homely. Early check in is 10 usd so we just left the luggage there and washed our faces. Room was great with a tv with hbo and another movie channel. Balcony was a nice addition but not much of a view of the mountain due to surrounding buildings. Toilets were great with rain shower. Breakfast is one order of a simple dish and a coffee or tea. 10/10 would stay here again. Only bad if you don’t like dogs/animals.

Lovely Family Hotel”
An intimate little place with only five rooms, the owners are absolutely lovely. Good breakfast and pleasant rooms. Sapa town is one big building site but Botanic does its very best to provide an oasis. Can't fault it at all :) Thanks for having us!

One of the best place I’ve ever been!”
It is a really cozy, small hotel owned by a young couple. They speak English very well and are so helpful that you even don’t have to plan anything in Sapa. At the beginning owner told us everything worth visit and give us many tips how to spend a great time. Every room has a balcony with a wonderful view to a highest peaks in Vietnam. Room was super clean as well as bathroom. Prefect Vietnamese breakfast included. Early check in and late check out wasn’t a problem. We could use a bathroom after the trekking and even we got an extra water for a way back to Lao Cai. I can strongly recommend for an everybody :) Great value for money!

Amazing Host. Clean. Comfortable”
Booked this place randomly, but wow. We were amazed with the room. Extremely clean, looks exactly as how it is pictured/described. The host/family was amazing, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great too!! They also arranged our Bac Ha market tour which was pleasant and provided us early breakfast because we had to leave early morning. The location of the hotel is good too, is at Cau May Street, where most of the good restaurants are. Will certainly book here if we visit Sapa again. We enjoyed our stay there. :)

Exceptional”
I would recommend this hotel if you are going to Sapa. located slightly outside of busy area of the centre but everything is in walking distance. There are only 4 rooms with balcony and good view of the valley. quite. The owner of this place is happy to share all the local knowledge and information with travellers.
