Amazing place to stay!”

I finished a two week solo trip in Thailand by staying two nights at Bluerama and it was amazing. When I got to the ferry pier, someone was holding a sign for the hotel and drove me to the reception (5 min drive from the pier). The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the reception was able to arrange anything for you. In my case, I needed to rent a bike and a bike was brought to me, which was perfect because returning it was easy. I did have to give my passport but good luck finding a place on KP that wont take your passport. My room was the Double Room - Sea View. Room was perfect size for one-two people. Wifi and AC worked perfectly if that matters to you. The staff here were friendly and helpful. Then there's the pool...AMAZING. At the infinity pool, which overlooks the west coast of KP, is the Bluerama restaurant. They have amazing food and service. The pool is beautiful and many people come for sunset. Great place for photo opportunities ;) If you're staying at the resort, they have tables reserved for resort guests which is nice because it can get pretty busy, especially during high season. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Both co-owner partners were very friendly as well!

Amazing, but don’t expect a quiet pool day”

After staying 7 days in Koh Phangan for full moon I was looking forward to relaxing poolside at Bluerama. This place is stunning, but if you are looking for a quiet relaxing day by the pool- it is non existent. There are lots of ppl that come outside of the resort and it gets really crowded, especially around sunset. Other than that, everything was great! Reception is very nice, the restaurant is amazing (Pad Thai is REALLY good) and the drinks are phenomenal!! Bed is also very comfy!

Great view and location ”

As mentioned in the other reviews Bluerama is located on a steep hill which offers you an astonishing view over the ocean, especially from the infinity pool and restaurant. The food at the restaurant is excellent, special and reasonably priced. The bungalows are a very good mix between comfort and nature. We did not have any problems with mosquitos or any other animals, even without a mosquito net. The cats are very friendly though and a curious monkey climbed on our balcony for a few minutes. I would not recommend this resort for families with kids because of the mountain (kids are also not allowed in the restaurant and pool because it's to risky) but for everyone else I can not recommended Bluerama enough.

Lovely place”

I really enjoyed my stay here. The view is beautiful, the pool is great and the guys running the Bluerama are very good hosts. Also the food was nice. Only minor I can think of is the very steep road towards the lodge. I was not aware of the ferry-to-Bluerama-service (apperently there is one!), so after getting dropped of down the main road by a grouptaxi, it was a challenging climb with my big suitcase. Nonetheless Bluerama was awesome!! Definitely go there again if I go to Thailand.

Literally just book this place!”

I had an amazing time this week at Bluerama. My bungalow was perfect, the pool and restaurant are top notch. Easily the best staff I’ve had since I’ve been to Thailand. The only negative would be the road up to the hotel. It can be quite intimidating on a scooter.

Best view in Koh Phangan!”

The hotel was a special highlight in our thailand journey. The view at the bar and restaurant with the Pool was amazing and fascinating. We had not so much luck cause we only had the possibility to see the sunset there for only one day cause the weather wasn't so good by the way. But the five days there have been very cool and relaxing. The customers are very helpful, especially the two french guys, who opened the hotel three months ago. There are nice, helpful and if you have any problem with the room, they try to help you directly. The breakfast was also very good and the dinner aswell, if you like to eat something at the evening. The rooms are comfortable, but it seems so that the personal don't clean the bath very well because the floor was often dirty und wet after the room has been cleaned. But that is the only thing that I would regard as a disadvantage. All in all it is a wonderful hotel, which has an amazing view because it is on the top of an high mountain and it is near to the centre.

Perfect place to get away”

The place is quite overrated but still impressive. Their swimming pool view is breathtaking. I can look at this view all day. Food and drinks are moderate with touristy price. The staffs were too kind and helpful.

Worth every penny you spent”

Awesome pool and breakfast area. Food at the restaurant was more international tastes. Very limited rooms so you have to book fast if available which we were pretty lucky to get the last room for Half moon. Room was neat, tidy. Small but enough and you got your own space since the bungalow wasn't that close to each other. Very good view from the room but nothing beat the swimming pool view!

The rude receptionist ruined everything!”

This hotel's location is on the steep hill and quite dangerous for those who ride the bike with not much experience. The pool and restaurant had a panoramic view of the ocean and the evening DJ raised the atmosphere in the evening. Although the room was quite different from the photos shown on the website, it's alright and clean. But the shower room was so disappointed with the dark color wall and broken shower that could spread water all over the bathroom. The staff at the restaurant were polite and nice although the food was bad. The woman staff at the reception was good at first but after we cancel the bike rental because we didn't agree with the renter's policy, she seemed furious and talked to us rudely with an angry voice all the time till we checked out. She even talked behind us and made a not nice face to us. So the great feeling about this hotel was all gone because of her. Actually, I really like this hotel's setting, but if they'd better train their staff more.

Nice Staff, nice Bungalows, really nice Infinity Pool& Restaurant. Breakfast is awesome. And you always get fresh towels also for the pool or beach if you are customer from Hotel.

Nice place, good food and good accommodations ”

I love the view and the swimming pool so much. The food was so nice. Only one thing that i would like to suggest the shower in the toilet have to fix as its leaking all the time when you showering

Great Hotel”

Lovely hotel, great staff and a beautiful view

Not so relaxing stay ”

The property is located up on the hill and the road goes almost vertical, there are no steps or lights so at night it’s extremely dangerous to drive motorbike up and down. The room was full of large ants and cockroaches and was sprayed upon my request ( after I got bitten at night ) but I wish they would’ve done it on a regular basis. Restaurant has stunning views with swimming pool and panoramic view ( again no handles or other safety equipment so after few drinks I wasn’t enjoying myself because I was constantly thinking how Not to slip and fall somewhere. Overall I would not recommend this hotel for staying ( also no access to the beach) but to enjoy the restaurant with a dj and the beautiful view.

Not good value for rooms”

I stayed in an ocean view bungalow for 2 nights and decided to check out early. The rooms are open to the elements and woke up to find creatures crawling around (geckos, huntsman spider, ants). The rooms are very expensive for the quality. Would highly recommend they install bug nets in the rooms to help put guests at ease. The washrooms are also not the most pleasant, just a solid cement space. On the positive side- the pool and view are amazing, the staff was kind and helpful and the restaurant served delicious food. Would recommend coming to use facilities for the day but I would not recommend spending the night in one of their bungalows (unless okay with a bit of wildlife in your room).

Great view, but the owner doesn‘t care for the customers”

The location is great, but: If you want to sleep sometimes, don‘t go there. The owner doesn‘t care if the customers want to sleep. Sometimes he plays music at 6am for himself very loud (you can feel the vibrations in your bed), sometimes the hole night and sometimes he plays music that is only noise, sounds like the soundmachine is defect... lavatory was dropping (wet feet if you wash your hands), nobody fixed it... wifi is not really working... but the lady at the reception is very friendly! Coffe for breakfast is not real coffe, only nescafe... the pool was not cleaned (it was green), so no possibility for swimming... the view is great! Don‘t stay there for the night, just drink a sundowner with this great view.
