Can't fault it ”

I would reccomend Blue Sky Saigon to anyone who wants to experience Ho Chi Minh. For barley $15 AUD per night I got a huge room with a comfy bed and a bathroom with better water pressure than I've ever seen in Asia. The staff were very welcoming, although they didn't have the strongest English we were still able to communicate. They don't do food at the hotel but you step out the door and have a thousand options so not even a concern. Blue sky is only a quick walk to Ben Thanh market and the backpacker bar area or a taxi ride for less than $4 AUD. Can't really fault the place.

The Service Makes A Difference!”

Blue Sky exceeded my expectations with the ever receiving and accomodating staff. They arranged last minutes tours for me, were good company as well for I was travelling alone. The Hotel Manager and staff even drove me around the city as I was a lost duckling. Ever so appreciative and a massive thumbs up from Connie. Xing Cam On Blue Sky Staff, Well Done!

A budget large-sized room hotel at a good location”

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Sky Saigon Hotel, because the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was large and family-friendly and is excellent value for money. Location near Ben Thanh market.

Comfy room n friendly staff”

Very helpful and friendly staff. They waited for us till 3am outside the hotel coz we were sightseeing the city. They always help translate english language to the taxi driver and even give a map so that we will not be lost when walking to new road. But,it is not a recommended hotel for elderly if they want to walk to ben tanh market everyday as it is quite far for them. As for tour, u can book any tour package at the hotel.

Pleasant stay, friendly staff, clean room”

Our room (with windows) was clean and have fresh air. The hotel's location was convenient to access main attractions in the city for sightseeing/dining/entertainment. It is safe and easy to walk around and very close to the Sai Gon river. Staff was friendly, helpful. Hotel can be a bit noisy because it is located on a busy streets. If only the hotel could improve its perfume used to clean the room to be less strong, it would be perfect. Advised for those coming as solo/budget travellers or those with simple needs!

I have a great experience at this hotel.. Cheap hotel but much worthed.. The location quite near from all tourist places.. So we go to all tourist places by walk and of course use google map.. Hehehe.. And the staff was really helpful.. :)

Economic budget, My stay was great. ”

I had a great time at this hotel....the service was excellent, the hotel is very close to Ben Thanh.. Highly recommended for everyone whose want to stay for comfort and pleasant time in Vietnam.

accomodating and comfortable”

Its a basic hotel/apartment where you can cook your own food with utensils are provided in every rooms. Its accommodating, with helpful staffs although they are not so fluent in English but we can still get the message through. Overall its a basic hotel/apartment with only rooms provided without any swimming pools or other services, but this is the type of hotel we are looking for and it suits us fine.

No hot water”

It was ok at the blue sky. Although not enough pillow and the hot water in the shower didn't work. Got lucky on our second stay and was moved next door to Boss Hotel. Great room very clean and refurbished.

Staff are helpful and friendly”

For the cost of each night's stay, the hotel was pretty much acceptable. The room was spacious enough. The bathroom though does not have a separate shower stall. The staff are the best thing, they are friendly and very helpful considering they don't speak or understand English as much as we'd like. There was one incident that my friend found molds in the electric kettle. So best to check everything inside the room prior to using.

Room size good however the bathroom very tiny and basic. The shower was located near the toilet and gets wet during a shower. Room is s good size with a kitchenette and beds okay. The location is close to the markets. There is no eating facilities at this hotel. Highly recommend a Vietnamese restaurant across the road, really good food and very affordable. If you can get past the tiny bathroom it's a good hotel to stay.

Great location”

The beds were not very comfortable- we could feel the springs. But other than that the room was comfortable and accommodating. The location of this hotel was PERFECT! Walking distance to a lot. I'd definitely recommend this hotel!

Giao (receptionist) is the best!”

This hotel is quite creepy coz there's no hallway at all. Pretty like an apartment that became a hotel. But it all changed when u meet Giao coz she is so accommodating. She prepared everything for our trip not only in Vietnam but also in Cambodia. She did a job well done. I love Vietnam!!!

great to put yourself up for a few nights! location isn't in the midst of a bustling city but just the right walking distance. sinh tourist is right next door and so is milano coffee for a good pick me up!
