The location was just right for me. Safe distance away from the noises on both beach and highway side. Few walk away from the beach. The room was clean. Only concern was the ceiling does not rotate. They have 3 common bathrooms, all with bidet, toiler and shower, so you won't have a hard time getting into one anytime of the day. The staff was friendly and was willing to answer our queries re: tours, fairs and other stuff about bora. Already recommended this to a friend of mine.

The stay was ok but not amazing. The staffs were not bad but, the fact that they let us stay outside and changed our room is quite tiring and confusion. There should be clear communication.

Hope the hostel will provide a plate, spoon n coffee mug each..base on a 2person per room. It will help alot to the costumer specialy those are most want to eat in their room.

Bare bones shared bath fan room heavy construction work outside window on parcel all day light hours and roosters all night. I am guessing will soon be replaced by new building as construction work shows much larger new facilities

I had a hard time looking for the reception area. I was on Google Maps and directed me to the area directly. Luckily, there was a guy in washing area told me I need to check in in Green Monkey. Reception area was few meters away from the actual room. Also did not mention that comfort room was shared. Urinal for men was clogged for two days. Just hoped that they stated this on room details. Overall, if you plan on staying out all day and night outside and just want a cheap stay in Boracay with good location, this is the place.

the hotel is located in a narrow smelly and dirty driveway without flooring, you walk on mud earth and stones without night lighting where there is a serious risk of getting hurt, the place has about ten rooms and a single shared shower, dirty common areas with broken windows ,, rooms with very dirty covered windows from an otherwise dirty tent, the place does not have a reception therefore there is not even surveillance, very bad! the good thing is that the beach is two minutes away and the staff is very nice but management should be ashamed to present such a place to the tourists, I recommend strongly not to take it into consideration

Book another hotel if you want a comfy stay”
Booked two fan rooms that couldn’t stand the room’s hotness. Near the beach but you need assistance to locate the hotel. Booked at discounted price but got to pay additional Php 500 for early check in and late check out. Building was a bit old. Fire/Smoke detector caused everyone to wake up since it keeps on alarming though no one is smoking but the staff kept on insisting that there’s someone who’s smoking. 2 Comfort rooms available, 1 cannot be locked while the other has damage towel bowl. You should keep in touch with the staff always since the reception area is on the other hotel they are managing. No problem if you want to book tours/activities since they are accommodating. My brother in law got sick after the parasailing and we requested to extend our stay since we are not well informed that 10am would be the check out time. One staff wanted us to transfer to another room since there are incoming guests who will occupy our room despite the situation we had. Eventually, another staff has accommodated our request to stay in the same room.

We booked the suite but this suite with a common bathroom sharing with another family I don't know Blue bamboo should make it very clear that the bathroom is only one & is shared the listing is misleading I had to look for another accommodation. It's a waste of money. They need to be truthful in their listing of this 'suite' it's an old house with a common bathroom - not acceptable

The room and bathroom conditions were so poor and nasty that we decided not to use our booking at all ! If you want to risk getting a disease this is the place to go.

Guesthouse not a hotel”
This place is just a convert of a second fellow of a house decided the rooms by small wooden walls. Only fan in the “room” and the shared shower and toilet were always dirty. The reception is not even there cause there is no place for it but in another guesthouse down the road.
