Think this hotel will be the best hotel for oceanview in Banyuwangi area. ❤️❤️"

"It will be very hard for me to review this hotel without some bias because by boyfriend proposed to me there. But the fact that he chose Ijen Resort to propose it testatment to how stunning and romantic this hotel is. It is worth noting that the road up to the resort from the main road is atrocious though so if you are getting a taxi from the train station then make sure it is quite a good one to withstand the 4 wheel drive track that the road becomes for the last 4 km leading up to the resort. "

"I actually unintentionally booked this hotel. I was on the trip to Bali however it was already to late and i decided to stay in this hotel. The hotel has a very beautifull decoration, i note a couple of beautifull jejer gandrung dance statue. The hotel has lot of greeneries and feel so excotic. The room was fabolous,clean and conformtable. However there is no bathtub or maybe i made a mistake on my reservation.The staffs are very nice and you can borrow a bicycle to ride it around the hotel. The pool and the playground for kids was decent. However this location is quite far from ketapang port. Althought it is very recommended,i am not sure if i will go there again since everytime i was in banyuwangi i need to cath up the boat schedule to bali as soon as possible. Otherwise,this place is perfect. "

"We arrived at around sunset time, so we spent few hours at the beach before checking in. Due to fully occupied rooms at Wisma Pulau Merah though we already successfully booked one room on agoda a day before, but Papa (the host) effortlessly prepared us a new room at The Wisma, which is a new bungalow establishment across the street, and it’s even a lot better than what we should’ve had on Wisma Pulau Merah. It’s a private bungalow with beautiful open air bathroom. Can’t thank you enough Papa! Thanks for making our stay was so pleasant, He’s also so helpful in giving us information about where and what to do around there."

"The place is literally in front of the train station so it can’t be more perfect when you’re coming for Ijen. The place is definitely clean. The whole family is super nice but a big thumb up to Indra and Linda that make us feel really good. There were super friendly and very accommodating, especially because I thought there was hot shower everywhere but actually no, the shared bathroom only had cold water so when I asked them about it they offered me to wait until the private room/bathroom was available after check out and let me shower there. That’s customer service :) They rented us scooters and masks for Ijen, and let us sleep a little bit after check out the next day. Would recommend 100% and would definitely go there if in Banyuwangi again. Thank you for everything!!!"

"we just booked the superior room but the hotel management up graded to deluxe as they know we are interested in making movies, their room has very beautiful vulcano and rice field views and for the price we paid which was round 50 dollar ..it was very very good price. we really recommend this property to everybody especially nature lovers."

"The room was lovely, the pool was lovely and we enjoyed being in the middle of a plantation. The downside was that rooms aren't air conditioned and the fan in our room didn't work well - we couldn't turn it up so that it would provide air movement. Also, if you are after an Indonesia breakfast, you won't find much choice here. "

"Most traveler stay in Banyuwangi only one night for Ijen. So if you are looking for a cheap place for couple hours rest before heading to the crater, Olivia is good option. Good location right at train station and ferry to Bali, basic facilities and helpful owner with cheap price is enough for backpacker."

"Host is friendly and extremely helpful. They personally picked us up late at night when we told them we would be arriving late due to bad traffic jam to Banyuwangi. The house is clean and tidy. Room is equipped with basic facility like standing fan and power plug. If you are used to air-conditioned room, the room may get a little bit warm. On the day of check-out, the host offered to send us to the harbour. They also helped us with the purchase of ferry ticket to Bali. Saving us the hassle of having to deal with the unfamiliar ticket procurement process. We’re lucky to have met such a wonderful host that made our stay in Banyuwangi a really pleasant one."
