cozy rooms with an excellent location”

This is a great value with the location on the lake and without the crowds and chaos of Breck. Our room and the whole facility, including the hot tub room, was very clean and inviting. Cozy accommodations with a friendly front desk staff. Scenic and relaxing. Lake Dillon has a great walking trail around the lake with such amazing views of the mountains nearby. Will definitely stay here in the future. Thank you, Best Western staff :)

Great Location, Friendly Staff”

We stayed in a studio with kitchen for five nights. The view was toward Lake Dillon. Although this is an older property, it is well maintained, and the location couldn’t be better—lakeside and just a few steps from the amphitheater where the free weekend concerts are held. Good breakfast is offered every morning, too!

Great water pressure and hot water for shower. Very nice breakfast with plenty of choices. Would highly recommend this property. Couldn't believe the rate was as reasonable as it was. Summer is probably great as well as it's across from the amphitheater and lake dillon. The staff was very nice as well.

Ski Trip to Summit County”

Very pleasant stay at an old school ski lodge complete with ski lockers, sauna and hot tub. Friendly staff and old but clean updated facility. Decent breakfast buffet. The location is close to all the essentials, shops, restaurants and world class skiing. I think the lake view with mountains all around was gorgeous. I imagine summer time would be spectacular.

Great Stay (again) at Ptarmigan Lodge”

Our family has lodged here several times over the years and enjoyed every stay. The Owners are wonderful and do a great job at keeping the facilities in top shape. They are very accommodating hosts and go above and beyond what we would expect. Heartily recommend them.

Great price, but just ok hotel”

Great spot right next to the lake, friendly staff, cheap enough. But if I come back to Dillon I’d pick another spot. Room was outdated, breakfast left a lot to be desired, just really needs an update to be honest!

Excellent”

The hotel is clean and close by to everything. But the hotel is not all one unit its split up so you may have to go to another building to get breakfast or the hot tub etc.. other then this hotel is great. I would stay here again.

I enjoyed this one”

That was a fantastic place to stay on my 3 nights; friendly staff, well organized clean and spacious room, well served wide choice hot breakfast, beautiful views around, quiet environment . I simply couldn’t ask for any more and will return there anytime the opportunity arrives

Great location with a view of mountains, lake, sunrise”

Good breakfast, clean room, convenient parking and plenty of nearby dining, shopping, ski rentals. Very close to at least 6 ski resorts.

Great location with a view”

We enjoyed the close proximity to nearby attractions. The breakfast was great and the bacon was a pleasant surprise! The only negative was sometimes the key card readers wouldn't read the cards right. The view of the lake was beautiful and looked extra nice with a fresh snowfall on it.

Pfun Ptimes at the Ptarmigan!”

Not the ritziest hotel in the world, but it has what you need when you’re traveling with kids and a dog! Free breakfast, big hot tub, walking distance from some family restaurants.

Staff was very cold like they were very miserable in their jobs or they just didn’t like people in wheelchairs or had a hard life at home....they made me sad because they weren’t happy. Was a really nice older white haired man who genuinely smiled though...maybe the owner not sure. Morning women were pretty but made me sad they weren’t happy.

Location is great . Room is very clean but loud. You can hear everything outside and inside . That really is a big downfall.

Everything was fine except bad view from our room. Breakfast was okay and had a gorgeous view. Not a room I would want to spend many days on but fine for one late night.

Great Family Owned Hotel”

We loved staying at the Ptarmigan Lodge. It felt like a family gathering for us, even though it was only the 2 of us. We chatted with the staff and enjoyed the hospitality. Truly a great place to stay, especially to view the amazing Dillon Reservoir and enjoy the Dillon Farmers' Market. Book it now before the rooms are gone!
