Perfecy place to stay upon arrival--would return”
We arrived to Paris after a ten hour flight, nine hour time change and two hour delay, due to a lockdown at the airport. I'm five months pregnant and we desperately needed a rest and quiet. The BW Premier Opera Faubourg offered the perfect stay for our weary, jet-lagged souls. We're pretty adventurous travelers that move around a lot after arrival and like things simple with a restful, clean environment, not luxurious, over-the-top glamour. The room was cool, modern, clean, with two twin beds--our preference--a desk and plenty of closet space. The bathroom was crystal clean with plenty of consistent, hot water. The black out curtains provided darkness for small naps to ease jet-lag and pregnancy induced exhaustion. The air con offered personalized climate control. Staff was friendly and helpful. They even called to double-check whether I wanted the room cleaned at the end of the day when I decided to nap during cleaning. They weren't overly pushy though. The breakfast was a combination between English and French, with a ton of pastry, dairy, protein, fruit and beverage options. A little pricy, but a nice way to start the day, especially when you're used to a substantial breakfast. One of our favorite elements was the neighborhood. The proximity to a main metro station was ideal. We took the metro from the airport and made it to the hotel in less than five minutes from the closest station. There are a couple groceries, pharmacies and many restaurants nearby. The area seemed relatively affluent with many well-dressed and friendly locals bustling about. The streets were clean and safe, the architecture lovely and the restaurants and cafes delicious. We adored walking around and people watching. There seemed to be something open for dining at all reasonable times of the day--morning through midnight. We'd stay again in a heartbeat--especially for the deal we snagged off Agoda.

A hotel to recommend”
It was an absolutely pleasant stay at BW Premier Opera Faubourg, from its excellent service to the comfortable room. We were initially a bit concerned when we saw the renovation work surrounding the hotel as we arrived, but then right after checking in - everything is so perfect that we didn't even remember this, plus there's no noise at all nor any inconvenience from it. We just love it! Conveniently located between two metro stops, central to everything else in northern Paris in reasonable pricing. Will recommend to those who are travelling to Paris and targeting major attractions in the north.

Very attentive staff”
Via a booking site, I always state my needs, eg whether I'm arriving early, etc. In most cases, these requests seem to be ignored by the hotels, and so I have to mention them again upon arrival. For this hotel, they didn't ignore the request. We requested for early check-in, not expecting too much, as we arrived Paris a little past 8am, and just hoped for a bit earlier than normal check-in time. We already planned to just drop our bags first, have breakfast, a bit of sightseeing and go back to hotel for an earlier check-in. We were very delighted that upon arrival we were told that our room is ready so we can rest after our long trip ! The reception is also very warm, I always like staff who are smiling, and they helped us with our bags. And best of all, our room was upgraded ! Location wise, the hotel is very near the metro, and also just about 10 minutes walk to La Fayette Galeries, and Opera. It's about 20 minutes walk to Louvre. The surrounding of the hotel is quiet as it's near office buildings, but still easy to move around because of the metro. There's a very nice small restaurant at ground floor which prepares fresh pizza in less than 10 min, and many other restaurants around. The best thing about this hotel are the staff -- they're all very warm and very accommodating, and knows our needs.

Awful beginning, but actually nice ending”
I met some problems when booking this hotel through Agoda, the standard room which was claimed to be free for the children with existing bed doesn't appear to be so, and the hotel wanna charge a much higher price for upgrading the room comparing to the price in Agoda, which made me very upset. However, after several rounds of negotiation, they agreed to upgrade my room for free. When I was arrived, i am actually impressed by its great location (50 meters away from metro, nice neighborhood, not far away from layfayett and opera), convinent facilities though very limited room space, comfortable bed, and helpful frontdesk (handsome and decent young men). Thus, overall, I believe the awful beginning is simply a friendly misunderstanding, and will still give high remarks to this hotel and Agoda.

Excellent”
Maid service was poor. Our stay was seven nights and they never changed our linen. They broke the mouth was glasses in our bathroom and left splinters on our towels and on the floor. Management tried to rectify the situation but we were checking out the next day! The kitchen and ground staff were excellent at breakfast time. They deserved more recognition. We had a very small room but lovely view. I would stay with the Best Western Premier Opera again.

OK Paris Hotel”
I booked this hotel a little by mistake...I had meant to book the very similarly named Best Western Premier Opera Leige. Faubourg wasn't located in the most convenient location (for us), and metro stations were on uncommon lines, which meant changing regularly. The hotel's rooms were small, and our room had plaster flaking off the walls. Walls were thin (I could hear the guy in the next room snoring the first night, and Chinese family crashing about at all hours on the second night). I moved from a 3 star hotel to here, and was honestly quite disappointed. Even the 'adapater' I requested on the pre-check in form was not provided. Quite disappointing hotel really, and I'd consider other locations in the future.

Wonderful trip in lovely Paris with Jules Hotel”
This is my very first trip to Paris, so does my girl friend. I have to say that at the same time we checked in at Jules Hotel, we received many useful info from the front-desk staffs! Since we only stay for two night, missing some wonderful sight-seeing spotlights would be the last thing we expect in this lovely city! The staffs were patient and helpful! :) They always walked us to the gate and showed us which direction to go! They was very sweet of them! The room we stay was modern and clean! And the location of Jules Hotel was perfect! 10 mins walk to downtown Opera!! Great! And few minutes walk to fantastic restaurants, e.g., J' Go! I highly recommend travelers stay with Jules Hotel! It will highlight your trip in Paris definitely! :)

Great hotel with great service at great location”
me and my wife had a recent short tour in paris and chose jules hotel for our stay. after a short stroll from the gallaries lafayette, we arrived at the hotel and entered in a small but delicate hotel lobby. we were greeted with very friendly staffs. there were some problem with the hotel booking (appeared to be generated from agoda) but the staff was quick to amend. the rooms are reasonable size for paris, and the house keeping did a great job in providing a very clean room. it was good enough for our relaxing purpose. the hotel is only a 5 minutes walk from the le pelentier metro station, which then allow you easy access to other parts of paris. it is also only about 10-15 minutes walk from gallaries lafayette - a blessing if you planned to do heaps of shopping and a curse if you didnt. it is only a few stations away from notre dame, musee du louvre and champs elysees. as a non-french speaking tourist, it only took a couple of rides for us to figure out what to do and where to go, and it was all sweet right after as it was so convenient and so close to many places. free wifi is available, but you will have to request from the front desk. the friendly staffs will be more than happy to provide the information. we would highly recommend the hotel for any relaxation/business stays, and would be more than happy go back on our next paris visit.

Great ”
Found this hotel on a ridiculously great deal (half the price that it appeared that it normally was) and the pictures looked brilliant so booked it straight away for our long weekend trip to Paris. The location is great, we mainly got electric scooters everywhere and went all over the city. When we did walk it was very convenient all over too. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, and they even had a service for us to leave over our bags on the last day as our train was in the evening. The hotel room is small but really well laid out so it doesn’t feel cramped. Basic furniture and design, but was all we needed for our stay. The beds are super comfy! We found the room didn’t have much ventilation but our room had a small balcony so we had the window a crack for most of our stay which did the trick. The rooms facing the road can be noisy at night (baring in mind again we had the window open) but didn’t bother us much. Overall, great hotel for a short trip!

Nice hotel in convenient location.”
paris was lovely in september and we liked this hotel mostly for its location and staff. it is walking distance both to montmartre and the louvre. if you don't mind a 20 minutes stroll with your luggage, you can also walk down the street from gare du nord train station. we were lucky and got room 319. it was some noice from the street outside, but the great thing is that it was a ok sized corner room. it had a small balcony where it was possibel to sit outside and get some sun watching the street life below. the staff was very nice and helpful both during check in and check out. they recommended some good places to eat. but the recommendation of cafe de la paix near the opera building was not the best. the food there was not as good as expected for the price.

Good hotel for the price and location”
The hotel is located in the Opera district, close to the Gare du Nord train station as we arrived from St Pancreas London train station. The price and amenities of hotel offered and location and room size is fair to say good for a Paris hotel. Staff was friendly especially Majory at the Breakfast Room that has responded to our every need in terms of food and preparation of hot foods. Staff at reception could speak good English and was very helpful when I wanted to check-out late at 2pm with no extra charge. I would recommend the hotel to couples that want to get away from the hustle and bustle but still within reach of the tourist places.

one of the best hotel i've ever stayed”
this is my 10th time in paris and just the first time staying at the jules, this is the best hotel i have ever stayed in paris so far. very lovely energetic staffs always with smile on their face. nice scent in the lobby, very lovely leather mirror case in the bathroom which, i really want to buy one from them. if you are a crazy shopper, it's pretty close to the department stores like lafayette etc. i really like jules and very soon there will be my 11th visit in paris and i will stay at the jules again!

Small but comfortable”
The room was tiny compared to the average hotel but was clean and comfortable. The internet connection was very poor something we got used to in Europe. It was centrally located in the Opera area with excellent shopping and restaurants at the door. Hint: Do not go to the General La Fayette restaurant directly across the road it is a total rip off!! Seriously twice the price of all the others in the area. Grab the hop on hop off bus around the corner form the Opera house and get a 2 day pass which is great value.

Not a 4-star hotel in the least”
While this hotel was exceptionally well-priced (for a 4-star hotel in Paris Centre), I was disappointed by the facilities and the dated condition of the hotel. It is located 100m away from Cadet Metro, in the heart of Opera (9th), but that's about it. The TV has no international channels (for a 4-star), the bed is old and lumpy (had a bad night's sleep) and the AC is noisy and kept me awake at night. This hotel is in urgent need of some quality maintenance to energize the amenities to be graded 4-star.

Great for solo travelers”
The room was clean, but small. My suitcase actually took most of the space in the room so, i think it'll be very very small for two big suitcases inside. The bed was very comfortable and warm. The location wise was ok, it was near metro place. Walking distance to opera and shopping area. I don't know how the other rooms are like, but the one stayed i would say it's good size for solo travelers.

Nice hotel and great location”
Booked this for 4 night trip.great location. , 2 mins from metro, 5 mins com Opera and gallery La Fayette.. Very nice staff. room was a good size for Paris, excellent bathroom and superbly comfy bed. It was also totally quiet at night. Staff helpful. Restaurants and cafe Jz surrounding, easy to get foods. But at 3rd day our lift breakdown so we have to use staircase walk up and down to 4th floors.. But I will come back to stay next time!

Good Value in the Heart of Paris, with some caveats”
I was unsure whether or not to recommend this hotel. On the one hand, my fiancé and I were able to stay close to the part of Paris we wanted to be in and did so at a very affordable price (approx USD $100/night inc. taxes, etc). The hotel is well-located, with transport within just a few minutes' walk, and plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity. The room, while nicely decorated, was suffering from a lack of maintenance - some of the electrical outlets didn't work, the TV had no signal, the towel hooks had broken off the wall, our key card frequently required several insertions before our door would operate. All of these were fairly minor issues that didn't cause too many problems, though I'd have been utterly disappointed had we paid the full price seen on Agoda (some $400 or so - though it is available at a little over €80 directly from Best Western; I have no idea where Agoda gets the "non-discounted prices" from).

Room Was Not Available When I Checked In”
I arrived before midnight to check-in, but was informed that there were zero rooms available. They offered to relocate me to another hotel, "five minutes from here" and paid for my 7 euro taxi. However, instead of staying within the Opera region I ended up being moved all the way to Gard du Nord! While the front desk employee was very professional, this was a huge inconvenience as I was a single female traveler placed in a taxi and carted off to a destination unknown at such a late hour. On the positive end, if you arrive by the bus from CDG and dropped off at Opera, it is simply a 15 minute walk. The street is very quiet, mostly offices in the day, with the occasional restaurant still open at this late hour of ~11pm. What was good or bad, I still can't decide, was that next door was a Turkish kebab fast food restaurant with young guys lounging around outside chatting, drinking, smoking, which was a bit intimidating. The lobby was quite worn and old, even with the modernized decor.
