Perfect for a short stay or for business travelers”

Overall I was very impressed with this hotel. It's very new and clean. It has a rooftop swimming pool which overlooks the Petaling Jaya skyline and a bit of Kuala Lumpur as well. Room is comfortable and has all basic amenities. Location is perfect for those who do not want to stay KL, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic jams.

I have been to the hotel a number of times and I always expect and receive the same standard of services - The hotel employees are more than willing to accommodate to your requests. Had the chance to dine at their Skyz Restaurant - the food is delicious and I love the outdoor layout where you can see almost all of Petaling Jaya. The location is good as it is easily accessible via Federal and Sprint highways - travelling by car, you can get to Damansara or Kuala Lumpur city center in 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a simple hotel with good service, scrumptious food and a hotel away-from-the-city-but-not-too-far-from-it.

Jewel in the midst”

Suitable for a spontaneous private sphere given the cost of a room. Its location is undeniably most strategic, flanked by malls and watering holes (Movida Club/ Pub is right downstairs and nearby Jaya One). The rooms are compact and cozy, ideal for a spontaneous couple-getaway. The bathroom is clean and functional despite its size (if you're a big bloke, you might want to maneouvre slowly. The bed is comfortable and the sheets are clean. Channel selection is decent with the standard English movie, sport and news selection. Minibar is empty, so do bring over your own beverage. Air conditioning control is functioning properly. Front desk is courteous, bring out extra manpower from the office whenever a queue starts to form. All in all, whatever your reason is, go for it. This hotel is worth it.

Convenient to move around in PJ city”

It's in the center of Petaling Jaya. Convenient to move around especially for this is my business trip. Hotel is clean however still under some construction.

Great Location”

The hotel is conveniently located in Petaling Jaya. Room was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was provided for the price we paid. However there was very little change in choice of the Breakfast Buffet for the 5 nights we stayed. During our stay we ran into many tour groups from China who were noisy and habitually jumping queues.

Friendly Staff, Affordable, and near to the mall”

I had my vacation there April 27 to 30 with my husband and two-year-old daughter. From the entrance i was confused for a moment where the Front desk where at but there were friendly Security Guard Name Mr. Pandry that assisted us to get to the Front office to check in. He assisted us from the Entrance of the hotel till to the 6th floor where we had to check in and get the key. Then, Mr. Snagun Snaema (front office) assisted us from 6th floor where the front office to our room. He helped us with our luggages and placed them nicely in our room. He is very friendly. Also, Mr P. Sivakumar is very friendly with us especially to my two-year-old daughter. He played and have conversation with her. Also, Mr. Gerald Morei assisted us with our luggages when we checked out. There is always a person who will assist you in case you need help when you get lost. The room was great even though it was not that big its great for a couple or with a toddler. I love the high floor that i requested and non smoking room. The Room is very clean and tidy especially the bathroom. Whatever you see in the picture, it is in the actual in person. The breakfast buffet was great they have international buffet and always refill their food. The waitstaff are friendly also. i just didn't get to go to their wonderful pool its on the top floor. The housekeeping did a great job on cleaning our room. i left a note for the housekeepers an apology because some of the mess my toddler left. For me, the price value for this hotel is great people rate it as a 3 stars hotel but for me its 5 stars. Keep up all the good work Best Western Hotel. I appreciate everything you guys do to take care of your guests.

Great short (3D2N) stay in PJ!”

My wife and I both enjoyed our recent stay in Best Western PJ. We booked via AGODA only 1 day prior to our stay. The hotel is situated nicely inside CentreStage PJ. The price is definitely one of the cheapest comparable to other hotels in the vicinity. We stayed in the Hollywood Twin Bed. Eventhough the room was slightly small but it definitely made up for with its design, tidiness and overall cleanliness. The hotel staff right from our check-in till check-out were extremely polite and nice. Service was fast and they were ever willing to help with any queries. However, one downside is that the elevators from the basement parking to the hotel rooms and even the rooftop swimming pool and gymnasium has no security via access cards like many other major hotels. Thus, outsiders can directly access hotel rooms and facilities (eg swimming pool) and this posses a definite security threat to the hotel occupants. Overall, if you are planning a cosy comfortable stay in PJ with a budget, Best Western PJ is the place to be.

Hotel, Staff, Location and Car Park”

Hotel and Staff is good, helpful & friendly.. F&B area done good job serve food to my wife and kid. Front Office Staff also done good job cause I'm not to sure where to get local food for dinner and they explain where is the location plus print out the location for me. Location for this hotel quite near to Jaya Shopping Mall and beside there have normal retail shop and local coffee shop. Car Park area is need to improve cause when hotel have Function they just put the sign there Car Park Full. I did ask outside the vallet people and they mention by right have people stand there ask I'm hotel guest or outsider. I'm wait at the Car Park Entrance and every 5 minutes horn 3 times. After 30 minutes only Car Park staff came with his motorcycle ask me is it Hotel Guest and of course I'm say YES then only move away the Car Park Full stand and let me in.

New Hotel with Good Room Facilities”

Best value for a new hotel with great room facilities and clean. The hotel is near by the Plaza 33, and several other shopping area in Petaling Jaya. However, it is quite difficult to get taxi and need to walk to the main street.

Nice hotel with a good location”

There is a nice cafe just below the hotel and a nice pub whereby you can have some cheap drinks across the road. The room was relatively BIG and comfortable. I will stay there again when I go to Petaling Jaya again.

Other than I found no toilet roll when I was about to sit on the bowl, and there was only a big bath towel but no hand towel or face towel, no complain for 2-night stay. The room is big enough for a man, may be nicer to have this size rather than too big a room that makes me feel being ripped off. Breakfast at the dining room was enough of variety, cereal, chinese, indian, veggies, fruits, coffee, juices. The location is central Petaling Jaya and this was the key point to select this hotel this time for me, but may be convenient for people to come to this city for business.

Room was small considering it's not in Kuala Lumpur CBD. But it was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping clean up well but does not always replenish toiletries. They are prompt on requests. Most happy with the kitchen crew. I loved my eggs poached and after three attempts they came up with perfectly poached eggs the first time! It wasn't on their menu but they kept nodding their head indicating they know what I requested. I was happy with sunny side up but not soft boiled nor hard boiled. They said, yes, they can do poached and served me poached eggs! Thank you. Hot water was served every morning with coffee after it was requested on the first day. My two nights was extended to five nights because I was happy with the staff performance. Service with a smile goes a long way!

Convenient eateries nearby but in a rather quiet area of Petaling Jaya which is not near any major attractions. Able to get taxis easily to compesnsate for that though. Reasonable prices for a good room. Cant complain!

What is great - Pricing range is value for money for room with fridge and safe plus all the 4 stars amenities. - Complimentary parking and ample too. - Quite neighborhood in PJ away from noise and heavy traffic. - Walking distance to shopping centers but need to have proper shoes and strong legs. - There is a hotel operated spa with RM30.00 rebate for its guests. - Small swimming pool but good enough if not crowded. Sauna and jacuzzi facilities available too. What could be better - Food choices in the hotel building is limited and most shoplots are vacant or vacated for quite some time. But you can always try the hotel restaurant.

Good hotel, great staff, disappointing breakfast”

The hotel is in decent condition and staff friendliness and support is excellent, Banks, supermarkets and many restaurants right downstairs. The included breakfast was a strong point to book it, but is a big disappointment unless you are Asian and love warm food for breakfast. Looking for any cheese, coldcut meat or decent bread and you'll be wondering why the place is called "Best Western" - no such thing on the whole breakfast buffet. I surely love curry but not for breakfast! Better get a better rate without the breakfast.
