majestic hotel at an affordable price!”

this has been my 6th trip to kuala lumpur, so i have stayed in a few different hotels! whilst many are very comparable, the berjaya times square serviced apartments has impressed me greatly. firstly the location of the hotel, along with the ease of transport to manouevre around the city was so easy and convenient. the room was clean, it consisted of a kitchenette, lounge room, dining area and seperate bedroom, with a king sized bed, the couch also folded out into another double bed. the price of the room is quite modest for the location, convenience and star rating of this hotel complex. shopping at your doorstep along with cinema, night life, bars and of course the famous computer and technology warehouse building low yat! was across the road. everything was within hands reach, no need for taxis, if it was not outside the door of the hotel it was in reach of the monorail. a ride on the monorail will cost you around 1.5 ringitts approximately 50 cents aud. to check into the serviced apartments you must enter the east tower foyer, and present your agoda coupon to the guard, he will then contact the agent to guide you to your room. we were so fortunate to have met daisy, a lovely agent who greated us with a smile, her warm friendly personality was by far her strength. she was always a phone call away and nothing was a problem for her to assist your travel and accomodation requests. i will definately stay again in this hotel, good price, location, convenient city access and great friendly staff! thanks again daisy for making my stay at the berjaya times square serviced apartment a memorable one!

Spacious room with great view”

the hotel is located in inside, or rather on top of the famous berjaya times square shopping complex, which is located at one of the most strategic tourist destination in the city of kuala lumpur, which is the golden triangle. the hotel is of walking distance to sungei wang plaza, bb plaza, low yat plaza, lot 10 shopping mall, pavillion mall, sephora, fareheitt 88 which are all famously and most visited shopping centres in kuala lumpur. hence, if you are planning to go shopping and enjoying the vibrancy of the city, this is will be the choice of hotel that you can opt for. the hotel itself if greatly maintained, hotel staff are friendly and helpful, we were escorted by the bell boy to carry our luggages to our room. since we were staying on the 23rd floor, the view of the city skyline is superb. the studio suite that we were staying is spacious, with attached kitchenette, bathroom, dining table, extra stereo set with clean and comfortable interior.

I stayed for one night at a studio room in Berjaya Times Square Hotel on the 10th of July 2014. Here is my detailed review of the place. 1. Check In & Customer Service I emailed the reservation team a few hours before my arrival regarding wanting a room on a higher floor with a view. Reservation team replied almost instantly and told me my room was ready for me. Upon arrival, I paid a deposit of RM100 and got the cards to my room within minutes. It was the keys to the studio on the 41st floor, the third highest floor of the building. Staffs were really friendly and courteous and were always smiling. I also enquired if I could go for breakfast earlier, the staff tried calling the relevant dept. to find out if it was possible but she couldn't get through so she took the liberty to come up all the way to my room to inform me personally but I was in the shower. Great job on the excellent customer service. 2. Room So my room was Room 41-12, Studio Room, Berjaya Times Square Hotel. To be honest, for what I paid and the great location it is at, I wasn't expecting for something excellent but mind you, I was completely blown away, everything was perfect! A) Room was HUGE. I had three parts to the toilet; (the bathtub, the shower and the toilet as well as two sinks). And then there were three parts of the room as well; (the main entrance & the kitchen, the living area, the bedroom) B) Beautiful & Stunning view. Pictures are attached. Couldn't stop taking pictures of the beautiful view of KL skyline from my room on the 41st floor. It was a beautiful view to look at and de stress. Felt so good waking up to the view. Also oversees the pool on the 14 or 15th floor. C) Was also given welcome fruits (Bananas & Apples) placed on the dining table. I fell in love with the hotel as soon as I saw my room. I could have spend all day long in the room. A couch in the hall to watch tv, a comfortable bed and a king's like toilet. :) 3. LOCATION. Excellent location. 5 stars

Great stay! Fantastic hotel with great staff!”

Fantastic! Better then my expectation! we were glad that we chose to pay a little more to the upgraded/renovated room! as it depends on the rooms u have chosen. any room with the ' Premier' are rooms that are renovated, c. But it comes with free breakfast, so i think its worth it for the upgrade. Premier Studio: the room was v spacious, the king size bed was very comfy with 4 pillows - v sound sleep at night, free welcome fruits, great dvd stereo connect to tv - we bought dvds for the night, view was great - old city view thats unblock, bathroom had 2 doors inter connecting - with separate shower area and bath tub. wardrobe was spacious with robes etc. Location: from the airport, it takes 40 min by cab ( airport taxi- fixed at RM75) even on a rainy day. it is conveniently located at Imbi Station (monorail), so it is easy to travel to the different sightseeing places. BTS is well known among cab drivers and locals, hence its hard for you to get lost. As the hotel is located above berjaya times square shopping centre, you do not need to worry if you need to find food, last min shopping, theme park entertainment for the kids etc. super great when you're stuck in the heavy rain and do not need to travel far! Hotel is strategically located in the bukit bintang area, just cross the road and you've reached sungai wang plaza, pavilion, lot 10 for more food and shopping! within walking distance you can enjoy street food at japan alor ( although its a little touristy and over commented), oversea restaurant ( chinese/ cantonese restaurant- more pricey but super nice char siew, roster duck/ pigeon, etc) Service wise- Check in and out was fast and good. Staff were polite and accommodating. ( comparatively to other hotels I've been to in the area, i travel to KL on yearly basis) really kudos to the staff at BTS, we will definitely be back next year this timing again! :))

Lovely hotel, great location”

i travelled with two friends so i booked superior room with an extra bed. however, we were given free upgrade to 2 bedroom suite we definitely appreciate the extra space, two bathrooms, tv in living room and each bedroom and the kitchenette. we don't even mind that we didn't have good view. really love that there's so much to see and buy within berjaya times square itself. we started from the 5th floor (7th and 6th were mainly clinics and salons) and had to stop halfway through the 3rd floor (took us 3 hours) coz our original plan was to shop at klcc. for the ladies out there, times square is the place for shoes. for ladies who don't mind piling on the pounds, there's lots of restaurants to choose from! hotel is very accessible because it's right next to imbi station. you just need to know how to change to other lines if you are planning to visit other places not on the kl monorail line. however, if you are a shopper like my friends and i, you don't need other lines. for good bargains, you get off at maharajalela and walk to petaling street (chinatown). for major shopping malls, you can get off at bukit bintang and explore all the malls along the street. cons: was expecting a lot for the hotel breakfast. but, since there are other restaurants in the mall, you just need to head to lg floor and feast away

Very convenient”

Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a really nice hotel located in the Times Square shopping center. Times Square is the best of all the shopping centers, so staying at this hotel is very convenient for shopping. We had a suite room with two bedrooms, which was fantastic. The room had awesome views from the 31 floor, and was very spacious. We had no complaints about the hotel. The only complaint we had was with Agoda! When we booked, breakfast was not included in our price, and this fact was not mentioned during the booking process.

it was a very pleasant stay. hotel is located within berjaya times square so shopping and food is not a problem. Staff were very nice and helpful. You feel at home right away. Rooms are big. We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit and it was very big. Aircon is noisy though and room review upon booking states that there was a full function kitchen but only a kettle was available, and no washer/dryer also. You cannot cook nor heat foods inside the unit nor can you wash clothes..so not recommended for a long stay...Overall i was satisfied except for the fact there there was misinformation supplied in the agoda site regarding room details/description...should be updated...There are other serviced apartments in bukit bintang which could have provided these necessities which was my primary objective in choosing a hotel to stay.

Fantastic 3 day stay at Berjaya Times Square”

We went to KL for a long weekend with a group of 2 other couples. Our stay at Berjaya Times Square was fabulous. We had premier studio suites which were so spacious. Each evening we had drinks and great h'orderves. The hotel was very close to the monorail, and Petaling street in Chinatown was only 2 stops away. Getting to bukit bintang was one stop on the monorail but you were so close it was quicker to walk. Shopping was fantastic as well. The hotel is right next to the shopping centre and each time we had too many bags to carry we just came back to the hotel, drop them off and then kept shopping. The shops are opened form 10am to 10pm each night. There are a lot of great restaurants and specialty eateries like Krisy Kremes, Starbucks, Baskins and Robbins etc at Times Square shopping centre, so everyone could find something to eat. I have booked to go back to this hotel in January with my children.

Great value for money and centralised to KL shops”

My stay at Berjaya Times Square was very pleasant! I enjoyed the size of the rooms, they were very large with high ceilings and an amazing view of KL. I only had one small issue with the bathtub as I took a bath I managed to get 2nd degree burns from the hot water tap - it wasn't labelled as hot and I only bumped it which was enough to burn through my 1st layer of skin PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Besides that, the hotel is attached to the Times Square shopping centre and its very convenient for KL shopping as its just next to Bukit Bintang. Also the taxi stand just outside of the hotel is very efficient and reasonably priced.

Great location and amenities”

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights, as we wanted a short KL trip for shopping and a bit of site-seeing. We upgraded to a club room suite, which gave us VIP check in and access to the club room, for drinks, nibbles, breakfast etc. It was definitely worth the upgrade. In terms of location, the hotel is attached to the Berjaya Times Square shopping centre. This is an older mall, but very large and there is a lot to explore, including an indoor amusement park on the higher levels. It is also within walking distance of the other main malls in the Golden Triangle of Bukit Bintang such as the Pavillion and Fahrenheit. The pool and gym are excellent. The gym even includes a basketball half court and has a great choice of quality exercise machines. The food in the VIP lounge was superb. I don't have anything negative to say about this place.

Great Location with huge rooms”

the hotel is situated above the huge berjaya times square mall so shopping and entertainment is well taken care of at the same time. just a short walk away is also the bukit bintang area which is the main shopping belt of kuala lumpur. to enjoy the local food, i can also walk to jalan alor with its selection of malaysian food. in all, the hotel is pretty well situated with all the major amenities within walking distance.

Worth for money. A good one night stay.”

First thing first everyone should know that this hotel only served a vege ala carte breakfast. Parking is flat rate RM 10.50 if you endorsed at Concierge and NOT complimentary. And there is RM 100 for deposit upon check in. Which was not mentioned in their website. So minus one point for that. The good part, I request for pool view but since not available the front desk staff, Sharmila gave me bigger room facing the city. The cleanliness is superb. The staff is welcoming. The location is in the middle of the city, which is great for travellers to explore Kuala Lumpur city and next to Berjaya Times Square Mall. I got 7% off from Agoda and it is worth it.

Best hotel in Kuala Lumpur”

We planned to stay in Kuala Lumpur for 2 nights in order to attend the conference. We have decided to stay at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel by recommendation of Agoda. The hotel is impressive, it's very clean, rooms are very big. Pool also is great and nice views. There is easy access to large shopping centre. We thank to all staff and workers of Berjaya Times Square hotel.

Highly Recommended for location, service and value”

From the time we walked into the hotel the staff set the precedence for our holiday. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Upon arrival we requested a smoking Superior room however there were none available therefore they upgraded us free of charge to the Brooklyn Suite which was absolutely fantastic and so spacious on the 40th floor. Room service was the very efficient with the turn around time for our requests being 6 minutes maximum. Perfect location as it is in located in the Times Square shopping centre with everything available on your door step and a 24 hour 711 shop running off the lobby. We will definately be returning and staying at this hotel again as I have stayed previously at the Park Royal and the service and rooms did not even come close to the standard of the Berjaya Times Square Hotel. Looking forward to staying at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel again.

Great stay”

It was very great! We stayed there for 7 days, the location is very near to shopping centers like bukit bintang. If you dont want to walk going to bukit bintang, train is also accessable. The hotel has an access to berjaya times square so shoppng is made easy. The concierge and front desk are very accomodating and friendly. Wing's cafe is just around the corner if you dont want to eat at berjaya anymore. Over all, thumbs up! Hassle free stay!

Our stay in Kuala Lumpur”

We have stayed in Berjaya Times Square Hotel while our visit of Kuala Lumpur. We had a Deluxe room. It was quite comfortable. A lot of space and very convenient location - just in the center. You can easily get in 15 minutes to any attractions in the city. First 10 floors of the hotel building is a shopping center - but it would not be very attractive for a European traveler as most things in this store look like second hand. But there is a top brand Plaza just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Personnel in the is very nice and willing to help. There is a traveler center just next to the reception where you can get all the necessary information about the city.

Great location, great stay”

Will definitely be back to stay. Great location and clean room. This hotel is near Bukit Bintang, Sungei wang, jalan alor and petaling street. Imbi mrt station is just next to Berjaya time square hotel and shopping mall. Just a little disappointed that we could not check in early as we arrived in the morning around 6.30am. Overall, still worth staying here. Highly recommended to those who wan to stay near shopping mall and mrt station

Our Stay at Berjaya Times Square KL”

We were pleasantry surprised with our room which was actually a suit with a pantry and a TV lobby. There was a lot of space for our kid to run about inside the suit. As there was an indoor theme park inside the Times Square building it was very convenient to go there for a spend a day, our kid especially enjoyed it. Being a movie buff myself I enjoyed the Cinemas located within the Times Square building. After a late night movie you just had to walk back to the room. Food courts available on the 10th floor as well as inside the shopping mall were very convenient. We had a choice of a variety of culinary options, Chinese, Thai, Western etc etc One negative thing to be said is that almost all activities, ie Movie, Theme Park, Shopping etc, you may never go out of the building to see the City. For instance, we would decide that we'd go out and visit the city, but after breakfast we would wonder around in the mall downstairs and before you know it, it’s dark. The whole day is gone. But we were able to visit nearby malls and shopping areas in Jalan Bukit Bintang which is a short walk from the hotel. Hotel staff was very helpful for all our needs, and the Concierge was always at hand to help us. On the 15th floor of the hotel, the sports and pool facilities are available and also a mini kids' park, which was quite helpful for us with our kid. One thing I can suggest for improvement is the availability of Internet facilities in the rooms. There was a VCD player in the room, however nobody uses VCDs nowadays. In this day and age, it is expected that DVD players as well as LCD/Plasma TVs.

Nice hotel located at Times Square Shopping Mall”

This is my second stay at Berjaya, as usual room given was very spacious and nice. Check in and out was fast. I took a taxi service from airport via the Airport Limo (M) SDN. BHD. the service counter can be seen once you get out of the airport. From KLIA airport to Berjaya Times Square Hotel it cost RM74.30, while from Berjaya to KLIA airport it cost RM64.40. The journey is about 45mins with no traffic jam. Note that for return via Airport Limo, need to call and book in advance 1 300 88 8989. It was a min walk to Times Square shopping mall from our room. Berjaya had a hugh swimming pool, quite impressive by it. There is also a half court basketball court, gym, sauna and steam room available for hotel guest to use. Quite a few massage outlet in the hotel and in Times Square shopping mall. It was a present stay, location wise is good for sure.
