Good value, convenient to transport”

Magendie was an excellent value. While not in the 'center' of Paris, the Metro is close (less than 10 min walk) and connections to lines going into the center for all the main attractions were easy. The excellent Metro system makes very doable for a Paris vacation! The breakfast was plentiful and very adequate. Stop at the local grocery store and buy your own fruit and you're all set.

I stayed this hotel on feb 2 week 2020. I was really happy with the choice I made. I requested a late checked out, but I couldn't get it due to high demand. Breakfast is good. I recommend this and when I come to Paris again, I will definitely stay in this hotel.

small but clean”

i booked a single room. it is a little bit small that i can hardly place my laptop on the table. despite the small room size, the other things are comfortable. the staff are helping and patient; the location is quiet, but not far from the subway; the breakfast is not too bad. if i come back to paris, i will consider this hotel again!

the best hotel in paris ”

the best hotel in paris! the best location , the most clean hotel, the best for walking, lot of metro stations around the hotel. everything was near.

Basic and clean”

It's a clean hotel, the breakfast was good. It's value for money. I will stay here again when I come to Paris. My work colleague also liked the hotel.

next time we will stay closer to downtown paris, only saying this as we are seniors and did more walking that we wanted to. hotel was fine, breakfast was real good. was close to the metro ie; 1/2 mile.

Value”

Nice place to stay with good price and good location. Staffs are helpful and speak English very well. Breakfast is good, not so amazing but got everything I want. Location is great near to Metro 2 lines.

Good value for money, but wouldn't go back”

To start off the review, let's start with the good; First off, the staff was great! Even though breakfast was not available yet, they provided us with tea and croissants. The location was not bad, although we had the unfortunate luck of the 6 train not running, meaning we had to travel around. Breakfast was also good. As for the bad, unfortunately the shower in the room had very little water pressure, and the showerhead holder was not very stable, so it would fall down. The room also only had 2 outlets, of which one was very high up and used by the tv. Lastly, the room had no ac and would get hot quite easily. The staff was however nice enough to provide us with a fan. Overall, it was not a bad stay, and good value for money. However we would personally not go back.

A bit old hotel, but clean and friendly staff”

The hotel was located a bit far from the metro and grocery store, but it has a good cost performance (breakfast was included). The room was clean and the staff was friendly. And area is quiet. Once you reach the metro station, you can conveniently head to any spot in Paris.

Great hotel”

I spent two nights at this hotel. It is located not far from Metro station. A couple of restaurants are nearby the hotel. The staff is polite and smily. The breakfast is quiet simple but enough to eat well. The rooms are clean and the bed super comfy. Enjoy guys! ;)

Nice basic hotel with goid breakfast facilities. ”

Nice hotel not far from Metro. Goos to get to major sites in Paris. No air conditioning, which is hard when very hot.

Standard”

The staff are friendly and very supportive. Location is ok, the metro station Glaciere is 600m. However room is very small and doesn't have air-cond which is uncomfortable in summer when Paris is quite hot.

Very comfortable budget hotel”

We arrived in the morning after a thirteen hour flight from Singapore and were given a room immediately at 11am. The staff were excellent and helped us with a phone call we could not make from our room. The breakfast was better than expected- cereal fruit yoghurt, scrambled eggs cheese ham,croissants pastries and toast and a coffee machine. Comfortable room and everything worked! It was about a twenty minute walk to stop 31 on the hop on hop off L'Open Tour. We would stay again.

Had a great time breakfast was good only bad side the chemicals they use in the bathrooms leave a nasty smell behind. we would come back to this hotel.

Takes 10min to get to a metro stop, but the hotel is close to attractions and landmarks. The breakfast was so good but the room was too small
