i represent a russian tour board. our community in live journal (cheaptrip.ru) is the biggest online community in the world. what we do is travelling and developing new destinations for our customers. i and my friend visited this very resort recently and felt ourselves treated like kings. it's a very private and paradise-looking place, that can be very special for you, for the family, for the lovers. i know a lot of people who had honeymoon in badian resort and spa and going back each year. you are welcomed by a special song on arrival after a 3 minute boat ride to badian. all the villas a comfortable and of traditional kind. the food is great, very hi-end quality, natural, they also have a pastry-master who does that perfect cheesе cakes. this is also a perfect location for divers as it has tours to the best philippines points like percador island. thei5r spa is award wining and truly amazing experience. then you hear that farewell song and it turnes you to tears because you just don't want to leave that people and place. it's like you have found the relatives after 20 years. very touching. i hope to be back soon

One of the owners was a chef in London which makes their food above average. Their pizza is better than Shakeys or Yellow Cab! Wild King Praws and white rice is love. Room is simple yet clean. Location is superb as the room and resto is a few steps from the beach. The beach is very good especially if it's high tide. Sunset is breathtaking. Staff is so warm and so accommodating. When I was having a meeting, they let me sit very near the wifi to get a good connection. They also turned off their music to make sure I have a good meeting. They also gave good recommendations on food and treated us like we're their kids. It's also just 30mins leisure walk to Kawasan Falls and just outside the resort is already the main highway where you can ride a bus to Oslob or to Cebu City. We will definitely go back when given a chance.

Overall, I would recommend it for a one night stay. We checked-in quite late for Philippines standards (past 20:00) even though the kitchen was closed, the staff was kind enough to prepare something for us to eat. The initiative was very hospitable and the food felt like a godsend package, later we felt like it was overpriced for what it was. Everything else was as expected: not a destination property, but rather a place to crash for one or two nights and then move on. I won't be disappointed, you won't be blown away.
