Absolutely WONDERFUL!!!”

From our arrival to departure, our stay was absolutely wonderful! Every single staff we encountered were courteous, friendly, attentive, responsive, helpful and accommodating. The resort is clean, well maintained, quiet. We enjoyed our pool time with happy hour; the air-conditioned playroom equipped with ping-pong table, board games, crafts, etc. the kids spent hours in there. In-house Amigan Restaurant was very nice. Their menu is adequate for a 2-3 days stay. I couldn't say enough about the amazing staff. You can stay in any beautiful resort and spent lots of money. But Bacau Bay Resort is unique for being so new, the entire staff (including the GM, Chef) is the heart of this resort. If everybody continue to do strive to do and care more then this resort will make a top-rate mark in the industry in Palawan. When we left, we got a very warm send-off like a family member. We will definitely come back again!

Stunning hotel with the BEST staff!!”

We stayed here for 2 nights with our young children (1 and 4). The hotel is beautiful and the staff are outstanding - our room was spacious and clean with comfy beds and bedding and the fluffiest towels. The pool is lovely and the hotel food very very good - we recommend the fish fingers at the pool! We had actually booked another hotel for the next 4 nights but after one night there, we arranged to come back to Bacau Bay for the last 3 nights of our stay in Coron. We took a tour through the hotel which, even though was more expensive than you can buy down town, was delivered professionally and included pickup and drop off at the hotels private jetty - worth the extra money for confidence in the service. Gilbert (the hotel manager) is always present at front of house and is always ready to ensure a perfect stay is had by all. Highly highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Bacau Bay! Everything about this place was excellent— facilities, staff, rooms, extra services like boat tours, the bayside bar, buffet at their private island. The manager went out of his way to make our stay a really pleasant one. All staff was personable, extra helpful and friendly. I would say the food could be improved. There wasn’t a lot to choose from in their menu, and the overall eating experience, whether the buffet or the ala carte dining could still be improved we were a big group of 17 when we came and every single one of us would love to come back! Thank you Bacau bay! Till next time!

Exceptional”

We had a really nice stay at Bacau Bay. Everything was good, except one of the days there was almost no food left in the breakfast buffet, and it was still 40 min left of the breakfast time. Otherwise our stay was perfect! There will not be many better opportunities for this standard in Coron...

Great location with awesome Customer Service”

The hotel and location is beautiful. No direct beach access but I was told this is true for most of hotels in the area. Bacau does have a dock where you can watch the sunset while you dangle from a hammock (it's awesome!). This is also where you aboard boats to go island hopping! The manager, Gilbert was so accommodating and lovely. He made sure throughout the days that we had everything we needed as a big group (5 families) to enjoy our Coron visit to the fullest. His recommendations regarding tours was spot on. I highly recommend booking tours and excursions through the hotel as they really take care of you and the sense of security of having the hotel staff guide us was very important. Included in the staff that accompanied us was a chef that cooked our lunch on a private island! We've heard dysenteric stories from friends who had gone island hopping in Palawan before so this was definitely a sigh of relief. The other staff, esp Jack and Diane were awesome!

Hotel is well-kept and super clean! Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Coron. I super recommend the hotel!

We had a very pleasant stay at Bacau Bay. We cannot fault their service from each and every staff member. Hotel is still new and work is still happening but this did not affect our stay at all. Special mention to Peter the bar manager who was fantastic we enjoyed spending time at the bar and pool his service was great .

Amazing resort in Coron”

The staff is extremely nice, friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this gem of a resort in Coron. Really enjoyed the stay, was lucky enough to get a free upgrade because we visited the resort within days of Coron opening for domestic tourists (so it was pretty empty), but the hospitality and amenities were still second to none. They have a very picturesque backwaters seating area surrounded by mangroves on two sides. It's really very very nice

Overall ratings excellent we enjoy the movie night, with free popcorn 🍿 and the private island hopping tour. Massage are the best too. To the Gen. Relaxing getaway”

The sun shone every day, we lazed by the pool, had drinks at the end of the pier and watched the beautiful sunset, went on an independent boat trip (organise through hotel, only 5000php for the boat then you pay admission fees as you go - highly recommend this option so you can visit as many or as few sights you want to see and don’t have a fixed schedule), popped in to Coron on a tuk tuk. The breakfast at the hotel was great, eggs cooked to order and lots of other buffet options. Our room was outstanding, go for room 401 or 402 if you can, large bedroom with huge comfy king bed, separate lounge, away from the hub a bit with lovely views (although next to the neighbouring property with some early morning roosters! But we soon got used to them)., private balcony. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. We loved our 5 night stay there. And I had a lovely massage in the spa. Water not potable, but they provided plenty of fresh water to drink.

Thank you so make for such an awesome holiday stay, I would like to point out to that peter our bartender made the extra effort to entertain us during the day and night. Some staff need to be rewarded for there efforts and people skills, his English was excellent, and communicated extremely well, his was also our information guide over the week we stayed, if we had a question he knows the answer, e.g. tours, hire motor bike, where shops are in town and in town restaurants to try, hopefully one day you recognise him to be promoted, as his talent are not just in the bar.. We just checked out of this amazing resort and can not express how satisfying our stay was! The brand new resort met all of our expectations and more: Welcome The greeting from the smiling staff and the manager with complimentary drinks and cold towels at the oriental and beautiful front desk made a great first impression. A tour around the premisses and the luggage brought to our room continued to make us feel welcome. Accomodation Great standard on the rooms with clean, white surfaces and a balcony with pool area view. Area/resort facilities The pool area is great and the pool bar has a good vibe with very good cocktails. Hammocks in the garden areas, a small beach, another bar, view towards the scenic lake with mangrove forrest and kayak rentals. For a worthwhile stay in Coron town proper, this is the best place to be. The establishment is lovely and well maintained. The facilities, the services, and the staff are all excellent! A wider variety of food in the restaurant could be improved, but then again the Chef is also too wonderful in accommodating our request outside the menu if feasible. Thank you for our superb stay experience, definitely going back.😍

just perfect. room condition, service etc. in case of deluxe room, there is a local residence area in front of door. so you can feel the local people's life. i will come again next year. it's best.

Breakfast needs more variety, less of what you have currently, but few more dishes Eg soooooo much rice maybe half and put extra dish in, soooooo much pork maybe half it and put extra dish in, last of all baked beans lol. Last of all if I could take peter bar to Australia to work in our night club I would.

AMAZING”

Amazing is an understatement. The resort is brand new and well equipped. The staff are all extremely attentive without being obtrusive. If we wanted to have a chat and get recommendations they would stay for as long as we wanted to talk. When we were out in the pool we weren't bothered but quietly they would put the bubblers on for us. We even got a hand-written note from the cleaning staff after our room was cleaned and freshly baked goodies in the evening. Their attention to detail is second to none and this resort very much deserves your business.

Fabulous. We were here with our two children and had a wonderful time. The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. And some of the best food we had in the Philippines. Try the cheesecake!
