Fantastic”
A beautiful place to relax on the canal... We had the riverside room, and while lying on deck chairs with cold juice/beer, we watched the boats pass by ... The most authentic atmosphere of a Thai village! And the host is a wonderfully warm and sweet lady who brought us breakfast on the terrace in the morning and even gave my wife a remedy to help with her migraine... We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

What a lovely couple running the place. They were so inviting and kind. The rooms we had in the front had gorgeous views onto the canl. we had a huge balcony. Breakfast was brillient albeit Thai but very delicious.

We stayed at the standard riverside room. . Although the price was bit higher than other homestays nearby, you get newly renovated room, the best river view right from your bedroom, peaceful environment, walking distance to the market, and the best service.

The good life”
The owner is like grandmother, very kind, offering some bite to start the day. And when I left, waiting with me to remind the songthaew driver where to drop me off for the onward bus connection. The house setup is like a relative's house in the country. The room has the basics & a powerful aircon. The draw really, is the outside riverside deck, windy, rustic & inviting, with long tail boats passing & making waves every few minutes. But other house guests also have access to the riverside deck, some smoking, 🙁😨 right outside your floor to ceiling glass door. Oh well, let's share the good life.

This homestay accommodation offered a peaceful stay and a bit off the main touristic road. It is located right by the canal. They offer great breakfast with tasty local food. Service was very nice and warm. I had a great and relaxing stay.

Great location at end of floating market, overlooking river. Easy to access sights. Call ahead so staff can meet you. Fun decor (orange, pink, dark woods, yellows) but it’s in keeping with other places in this price bracket. Nice simple Breakfast.

Room by the riverside”
My room is by the riverside. It's wonderful to relax and see boats passingly. At high tide, parts of the walkways on the opposite bank would be under water. This is a homestay, therefore there's no other facilities other than the room and the rest area as shown in the pic. The room is clean and nice with a/c, wifi, TV, bathroom etc. Breakfast is included. I would stay here again.

A quiet corner just before the start of the market. Nice seating platform (with a glass room beside it), wooden floor, simple breakfast included, but because it's a homestay, few facilities.

Ok stay, but feels like it's had better days”
Had an ok stay here. Nice location on the river, but have to walk back through the car park to get on the main path that goes along the khlong, so it loses a bit of its charm. Rooms ok, but feels a bit dated and seems like it hasn't had much maintenance. The lady was lovely and made us a very tasty khao thom (rice soup) for breakfast. Worth shopping around on Agoda a bit more for one of the hotels or B&Bs. Also remember to check market days if you're hoping to see the floating market, although Amphawa is very pleasant when it isn't packed with tourists.

Très bel emplacement avec une terrasse sur l'eau au coeur du marché flottant avec une famille très sympathique et très serviable pour nous accueillir, nous donner des conseils et nous aider.

Trop cher - petit déjeuner non conforme aux photos ”
45€ la nuit, on paye clairement la vue (chambre avec terrasse donnant sur la riviere) et la popularité du lieu le week end (nuit d’un vendredi) mais : - Il n’y a aucune pancarte indiquant l’hôtel, j’ai par hasard demandé mon chemin à un monsieur qui n’était autre que le mari de la tenancière de l’établissement. Le monsieur ne parle pas un mot d’anglais, et la dame très peu. - Il n’y a pas du tout de « service » type « vous pourriez aller manger là, vous pourriez voir et faire ça, aucun élan vers les hôtes, même si ce couple est très gentil, on paye et salut. - la terrasse n’est pas si privée, en rentrant j’ai retrouvé une famille avec 2 enfants tranquillement installés sur la terrasse, pile devant la baie vitrée de ma chambre, intimité zéro. Il était assez tard et j’avais envie de ma tranquillité j’ai donc dû leur demander gentiment de partir... - Si vous voulez lire un bouquin le soir dans votre lit, pensez à la lampe frontale ! : aucune lumière près du lit, on ne voit absolument rien. Certes il y a la clim, un mini frigo avec de l’eau dedans, café et bouilloire, TV (inutile dans mon cas) mais qq petits aménagements seraient bienvenus comme une lumière près du lit ainsi qu’au dessus du miroir dans la SDB (on ne voit rien non plus...) - ET enfin, très très déçue du petit dej, ne correspond pas du tout aux photos que le site, j’ai eu un vague petit dej continental, encore une fois pour 45€ la nuit j’aurais attendu un autre standing, pour certains voyageurs la bouffe est importante et qui dit touriste ne veut pas dire nourriture de touriste... Voilà mon retour, je pense que cet établissement est récent et devrait améliorer certaines choses pour que le prix payé soit justifié.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Homestay direkt am Klong mit schönem, sauberem Zimmer, Terrasse mit Aussicht aufs Wasser. Ruhig gelegen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich wie Zuhause. Ein richtiger Geheimtipp. Thailand wie vor 30 Jahren mit etwas heutigem Luxus Top
