A Budget Traveller's Best Friend”
The communication between the guests and the hosts is awesome. Told them we will be late checking-in, and we received a reply immediately that they'd be willing to wait. The rooms are not perfect, but very spacious and almost got everything you need. For a cheap price, Baan Ma Feung seems to get everything right except for the noisy and old AC units. They cool the rooms quite slow so a person who want to be relieved from the excruciating heat of Kanchanburi would have to wait for a food 1-2 hours before the cool kicks in. However, the location is well this thought, being a good 5-minute walk to rhe bus station and few notable tourist attractions. The staff is helpful and even offered maps of the city and are ready to give suggestions. Altogether, this place is superb.

Excellent experience at the hotel ”
We had such a great experience staying at the Baan Ma Feung House for the price we paid. Staff extremely friendly, hotel located 10 mins walk to the bus station and excellent coffee at the restaurant. There is a nice local food market 5 mins away that normally opens after 6pm.

Modern and friendly”
Staying at Baan Ma Feung Geusthouse was lovely. It is only 1km away from either the bus or train station which is very convenient. But far away from the bridge, but luckily the taxis come by very often and not very expensive. We were lucky enough to stay there during the Kanchanaburi festival and the staff quickly informed us about the activities going on around town which was very helpfull. The rooms are clean and modern and very quiet even though it is in the middel of a busy road. The complimentary wifi also came in very handy. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay at least a few nights.

Quiet modern”
the baan ma feung is in the centre of town, which means it is a distance from the more popular tourist area towards the river kwai bridge. there is a shuttle bus up the road that goes there regularly for peanuts - so no big disadvantage. the hotel is up the road from the train station and very central to the bus station for local buses to erawan falls and so on. the guest house is very modern and set back from the main road so also very quiet. some features like the water pool and sitting area are not functional and this detracts form the general amenities of the guest house. rooms are clean, well cared for and cleaned daily. the bed covers are like beach towels and not sufficient to cover an average tourist body - we had to request one additional "sheet towel" each to stay warm. the staff were very helpful but no english at all. the manager/owner has good english but was often not there and this did create gaps in service quality. breakfast is not included. there is a coffee shop associated with the gh but it was not open at breakfast times and one could only get coffee and cakes. normally this is not a problem since a walk down most streets will lead to a place to eat breakfast - but not so in this location. we had to eat at nearby hotels and this was expensive adding an additional baht to the gh rate.

Had the best stay at Baan Ma Feung. The staff are fantastic.. and were very warm and super helpful folks. They helped us figure out our entire travel around the place. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Pleasent, budget stay”
It is difficult to spot if you are driving and also since most locals don't know English. It is located on the main road right opposite the bus station so that's convenient. It's a perfect utility hotel. If you are not looking to spend much and are looking for a clean, friendly hotel, Baan Ma Feung is perfect!

Value for money”
We booked two rooms. Only stayed one night. Arrived in Kanchanaburi at about 9:30 Lady owner fetched us at the Bus terminal. She and the lady who makes the best coffee (at the coffee shop attached to the guest house) are very friendly and helpful. Arranged a taxi for us. Clean rooms, no coffee or tea in the rooms, however they do have a special area with a microwave and kettle that one can use. If you are only staying for two days then I would recommend that you book a tour. We did the Tiger temple tour the afternoon and the following morning the Erawan water falls,train, bridge over river Kwai etc. Really enjoyed it.

Simple and hassle-free”
Very comfortable and peaceful stay at this guest house. 7-11 convenience store not too far away and plenty of local food stalls within the area to patronize as well. This is one of the premium guest houses in this part of Kanchanaburi and if you're looking for a bit of luxury (albeit still quite budgeted) on your holiday here, this should definitely be one of your options.

we stayed here for only 1 night, and loved it the whole time i was there. a small modern balinese stye guest house , small bedroam but clean,nice bathroom, located in city center of kanchanaburi. we particularly enjoyed our stay here. it was the perfect place to start our trip, calm, nice and relaxing.very friend staff and willing to help.

Our stay in Baan Ma Fueng was one of the best experiences in Thailand. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. Of course, it's not very luxurious but if you look for a budget accomondation in Kanchanaburi, that is the one.

Lovely hotel and excellent staff”
Excellent if you need to stay in the city. If you want to do the tourist thing with bars and restaurants close by that are good value for money and that have someone that speaks passable English, choose the tourist area around the Kwai River Bridge. It is too far to walk from this hotel and transport is hard to get in the afternoon so it is a convenience thing. The staff, to their credit, would take you if they were available at a very reasonable price and organize whatever your wanted - nothing was too much trouble.

good location if you are visiting the bridge over the river kwai. the rooms are cabins with nice surroundings.the cabin is large with a nice shower.comfortable bed.lots of hot water.there is a great coffee shop where the lady will give you all the info.for your travel. will also deliver coffee to your room.the room cleaning service is excellant.i will stay at this hotel again

Check in and check out was very quick, assisted by the very friendly receptionist. The front of the hotel is a cafe and you need to walk through a short alley next to the cafe to get to the rooms at the back. Bottled water was provided in the mini fridge. The AC, wifi and tv worked well. Cleaning lady saw me having difficulty locking my door and quickly stopped what she was doing to show me how. We also exchanged greetings as I left and returned each day. Hotel is located inbetween the train and stations. About a 15min and 10min walk from the train and bus stations respectively. Am glad I did not stay at the main tourist street of Mae Nam Kwae, would definitely stay at this place again when I return to Kanchanaburi.

i stayed 2 nights at baan ma feung guest house and was only disappointed in the cleanliness of my sheets. everything else was fine; the rooms are not large enough to spend all day in, so go outside!

Nice Guest House”
We really liked to stay in the guest house. Really confortable room, really close to the bus station and shops. We had a problem with the hot water and they fixed it immediately. Only 2 inconvenients: -When you're not in the room, the fridge is not working. -No hair dryers in the room. Very good value for money !

Valuable price guest house”
Overall was good: bed, location and service. It's also near attraction places like the bridge of the river Kwai or Death railway. The only problem I found in my stay was TV signal as it's not clear and not various channels to watch.

Wonderful staff”
We arrived in the middle of the night. Somehow that had been some missunderstandning and the guesthouse had mot got our reservation and it was full booked. The lovely owner let us than stay in her private guesthouse until next morning when there was a room available. She even made us waffles in the middle of the night! It is walkable from the bus station. Dont bother the taxi drivers, just walk 1 minute to the main road and walk to the right for 5-10 minutes on the right side. This guesthouse is probably the best you can get in Kanchanaburi.
