I cannot explain enough how perfect this place is. The owner is so sweet and helpful. Their dogs are very friendly. The surroundings are amazing. My treehouse was really different than what I’ve experienced before. I was warned not to let the doors or shower open as monkeys will come inside. Only 5 minute walk to the nearest market or 10 minute walk to more stores and food. I will definitely come back here again next time I’m in the area. True paradise

Great great great. Not for people who are affraid of night insects, but you cant be surprised when you sleep in a treehouse. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend. It’s very unique. Owner was great, helpful and he offered us a 2 day tour to national park with a night in a floating bungalow. It was a lifetime experience and an adventure. Overall perfect and amazing :)

Good choice with little to complain about”
We stayed 3 nights to do daytrips and to explore the National Park. The treehouse (with aircon) is simple, but nearly sufficiently equipped for a short stay. The room was clean and its equipment (fridge, aircon, lighting) functioned as expected. A few points we found, could be improved: - The mattress of the bed (1.80m in width) was very hard which was quite uncomfortable and had us sleep quite uneasily until we put the bed-cover underneath it - We missed a board in the toilet and in the outside-shower to put our toiletries on - same accounts for a second night-table next to the bed and a rack for putting the travel-bags on. - the light in the toilet is just a simple light bulb - way too glaring and not a nice colour if you need to use the bathroom at night - the window curtains are a little thin, allowing the morning light to shine brightly into the room once the sun is up - breakfast is continental-style which consists of coffee or tea, juice, eggs (any style), toasted bread and marmelade - some variation would be great. Overall, we we were satisfied with the amenities, the service and our choice.

Wonderful hosts and amazing resort. The treetops are placed with distance so you have a lot of privacy. The owners and their family are soo friendly and nice. They arranged great activities for very good prices. Feels like Living in the jungle. Beautiful garden. Would definitely recommend.

Nice quiet place in a beautiful surrounding, with lovely and very helpfull couple running it. Treehouse simple but sufficiënt, bed little to hard for me , but I like it soft. Restaurant with good breackfast and thai food! We had a very pleasant stay and recomment it for people who loves nature! Thanks, hope to come back again.

We loved the treehouse we stayed in. The owners, Polly and her husband were great. They were very nice and sweet. We did have a hiccup upon arrival as they had double booked our first night. Polly was very apologetic and had found us accommodations next door and refunded us the difference and have us free breakfast for the mix up. It would have been nice to have the treehouse for 2 nights as we loved it so much.

Toilet shower water pressure very low. The breakfast only fried eggs and two breads which bit disappointed with that price paid. Booked a day Lake Tour 1500 bath at hotel try to support local tour, too bad totally not worth as only take a round of lake and dropped us at the rest point for us swimming and kayaking or trekking.

Nice Treehouse in Khao Sok village (watch out for bugs!) ”
Nice basic Treehouse accommodation in Khao Sok village, a little apart from the main road leading up to the national park entrance. Quite a lot of bugs due to being up a tree in/next to rainforest. It's a beautiful place and next to the river, which I imagine you could paddle in (but we didn't have time). Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the hard sell of expensive tours and excursions in and around the national park by the owner as soon as we arrived. This made us feel stressed rather than relaxed.

Loved Baan Kaoh Sok!”
My partner and I stayed in a tree house and we loved it. The tree house was cute and clean. There was no AC but there was a giant fan that worked great! The bathroom was clean minus a few little ants, but while living in a tree, I expected that! The staff was lovely and very helpful. They helped us book an overnight trip to a floating village (highly recommend!) and they were overall very nice. The resort’s restaurant was great! Very convenient for breakfast especially. They also did our laundry for us and that was much much appreciated! Thanks for a great time Baan Kaoh Sok!

Slight distance from town, VERY pushy staff, but yes picturesque cottages”
Although the little bamboo cottages are adorable, we had a very uncomfortable experience here . We chose to go on a trekking tour with a different company because the guy had awesome personality. We lost our key trekking and the staff was outwardly frustrated -- which is fine, I get that -- I paid the 300 baht. What was worse was that we booked another tour with the same guide the next day, baan Khao sok then accused him of charging us less and made sure the minivan didn't pick us up!! We weren't able to go on the tour that we wanted to just because they were angry that we booked with someone else. I would've rated this place much higher if it weren't for this hostile experience.

Hi Nikki, First of all, I would like to say apologize for making you uncomfortable while stayed with us. I am the one who you mention about. When we have new arrive guest to check in I will alsway greeting and show them the activitied. But I never push them to do these. We try to make the service and tours standard with all this village do. I know that you are travelling on budget. Tour operator that you booked with they are out of policy. Cause tour price in Khao Sok are issued buy Khaosok Organization Team every where should be same price which I show on board. You had supported the selfish people in the village. I can not do the best service for you.

Staff were quick to show us the tours of which they offered in the National Park. We selected the 2 day one night tour which was absolutely incredible!! Laundry service available as well as a really nice low price restaurant. If you get the choice choose to stay in the tree houses as it’s such a cool experience! 10/10 would recommend to any age group visiting Khao Sak.

Great place to see the park! ”
We loved our stay here. The family who run the resort are wonderful and super helpful. They speak English and are very helpful with planning tours, etc. delicious food and free breakfast of two eggs, toast, coffee and juice. The treehouse bungalows are quite cool and maybe one of the many dogs who live on the property will join you on your porch. Easy access to town. We also had a great time visiting the hotel owned elephant sanctuary. We went on a day when a whole bunch of school kids were there and it was so fun! We saw monkeys along the river outside the main lobby and got to feed the fish in the morning. The grounds are very well kept and there is an abundance of interesting flora and fauna. We had some ant friends in our room one night but didn't suffer from any mosquito issues. This visit was a highlight of our trip to Thailand and we highly recommend it here!
