The Best & Newest-Beautiful & Cottage-style Hotel ”
Azalea Residences makes you feel at home. We had a great time staying, amazing part we were extremely excited about the kitchen, we were able to make a great breakfast, kitchen utensils for free. Great experience in Baguio with its cool breeze. Beautiful hotel up in the mountain, very quiet surrounding, very peaceful & relaxing - a great getaway from your busy crowd in the city. The most amazing part - hotel allows visist from relatives from 8am-10pm which is for free; great for those who book for holiday season - for family gathering. Please keep on offering this service. Very near Mines View Park & other tourist destinations in Baguio, near market as well. We are well travelled couple-this hotel is simply the best-with dvd players, almost all channels available in the world; they also have collection of movies (but pls widen the collection)& that's great because it can really accomodate different races, different taste of movies. We have plans to book again in Azalea when we go home for christmas hopefully this year. i think it's my best gift for my girlfriend for her birthday this month. She just loves the kitchen wanting to cook a meal for both of us. Great staff, Mike from front desk, keep up the good job, likewise with Jeff for assisting my guest relatives in the vicinity. Greatest hotel for a romantic honeymoon. We also ordered food- spaghetti & chix curry very nice. P.S. a small suggestion for a la carte AMERICAN breakfast when I ordered it, it was just a toast bread with cinnamon syrup with bacon strips & the entire set was cold. For AMERICAN so-called breakfast- it should be served with hot toasted bread, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausages, fresh juices.fruits considering that baguio is a capital for tropical fruits.

Very warm staff and cozy rooms”
Although I have mostly been staying in random cheaper hotels and transients while in Baguio, since I came with a companion, I decided to try a different hotel with these in mind: - Midrange - Not too far from the city - Clean - great view at least Azalea's price in Agoda was something I found more than reasonable, and it surprised me to find that it was hidden from the main roads (the hotel being about 5-10 minutes away from Session Road). I already expected it wouldn't present much of a view as it wasn't facing the better part of the city, but it wasn't what I was really after. What DID surprise me, however, is that despite the hotel looking seemingly snotty on the facade (I mean upscale), the staff was very accommodating and warm. I found it easy to speak to them and were highly courteous while we were there. The room was a surprise for us as well, as we didn't realize their rooms were designed to look more like a condo-tel due to the kitchen and family room which we greatly appreciated. I am keeping Azalea in mind if I'm bringing my family to Baguio for the next trip. It's a sure-fire way to impress them.

A very relaxing stay”
The hotel is in front of Teachers amp and is thus easy to find. The distinctive blue signage of Azalea is easy to spot. Our de luxe room was very comfortable for 4 persons. There was a doublebed and a sofa bed, a kitchenette complete with plates, utensils and some pans. The bathroom was very clean and the toiletries they provided was good for 4 people. There was more than enough parking space. The room we were in had no air conditioning unit which is understandable because the hotel is in Baguio. However, the ceiling fan is not enough during summer. We had to leave the sliding door open to let in cool air. The room came with buffet breakfast. However, they did not offer a wide selection of dishes. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with directions to places we wanted to visit. They gave us a map of Baguio with Azalea as the focal point. I will definitely recommend Azalea.

Truly a Holiday Haven”
Rooms- The room is huge. For a unit good for 2 persons, it can still accommodate a queen-sized bed for 3rd person. All toiletries provided are good for 3, including the slippers. The room is well-lit, cozy, and relaxing. It doesn't have A/C but since Baguio is 8° colder than the rest of Phil. cities & the hotel is at an elevated area, the ceiling fan can serve that purpose. Bed is comfortable, with duvet blanket and 4 very soft pillows in the master bed. Service- superb service. Everyone greets you with a smile and assists hospitably. Cleanliness-I rate 4 of 5 only bec. there's water spill in the bathroom due to a leakage I think from the bidet and there's water drip from the ref when we've arrived. The response to get it clean was swift however. Location-Not so close to city proper but taxi fare is reasonable. Doesn't go beyond a P100. If by car, the hotel provides a huge basement parking & is even expanding since our last visit. Facilities/Amenities-No pool but personally, this is fine since Baguio is cold, unless it's a hot pool. There's a playground for kids to slide, hop and swing on. Food-Breakfast is buffet type and complimentary. Good array to choose from. Delicious food! Service is also very good they're attentive to your needs and always offer to carry plates or serve coffee. Value-Price paid is quite steep, it's close to getting a 5-star accommodation but our stay fell during the peak period. Should it had been the regular rate, then value for money is reasonable. Overall-I would highly recommend staying here esp.if you want a place away from the hustle & bustle of the urban. Good place to stay for families as they have 2-bedroom units. I also like its aura, the vibe and the wonderful facade

Nice Hotel”
azalea residences is a new hotel. the room is clean and has a modern feel, very homey. the facilities are all functioning except for the hair blower which has no adapter socket. the hotel's location is not at the center of baguio city. it is partly hidden from the road, however, it is convenient to go and explore the busy business district of the city since it is just 5minute ride away. the service is somehow slow. we arrived at the hotel at around 4pm (late check in) and still we waited 30 minutes before we were able to enter our room. but generally, we're satisfied with the hotel. we will definitely return.

Great hotel but needs improvement esp. the linens ”
Here's the summary of our stay in AZALEA RESIDENCES - Fast check in and check out - Staff are well trained, courteous, and friendly. - Fast room service (we asked for cooking pans, utensils, hair dryer and asked them to fixed the water heater in our room because it's not working and they comply immediately) - Large room - Yummy breakfast buffet (But I suggest that they change their breakfast menu from time to time, because we stayed there for 2 nights and we had the same breakfast buffet everyday.) - bed sheets and towels are a little bit dirty has stains on it. (Bed sheets has small holes and tears on the side. I suggest that they buy new bed sheets and towels.) - The extra blanket that we have asked has an odd smell. We asked the front desk to replace it but told us that they don't have blankets anymore, turns out we bought our own blankets at the flee market near by. Over all our stay in AZALEA is great, but I think they have to improve on the things that I have mentioned above. But we will definitely come back in our future travel in Baguio.

A great new place to stay in baguio!”
Our first stay here in Azalea proved to be a an unforgettable experience. The Hotel itself is a tourist spot with its great structural design, underground spacious parking for guests, Childrens Playground, a very nice centerpiece fountain. The Hotel staff are very accomodating even let me check in with my Pag-Ibig Fund ID which is not considered as a valid ID because i forgot my Drivers License in my car. The room was great spacious and complete with cooking utensils, stove, and a great cealing fan if you thinks its not cold enough in baguio. The only downside is the scarcity of Wifi connection in the rooms and corridors of the hotel. I think they should reconsider installing a different set up for the wireless connection. I would have volunteered to make it work if given the oppurtinity because i am an IT Professional. Overall the stay was great and we will surely comeback when we visit Baguio again!

Nice hotel but starting to show wear & tear”
This was our second extended stay at Azalea Residences, and although it was a good stay overall, unfortunately the hotel is beginning to show wear and tear and have maintenance issues. I still recommend this hotel, but there were problems with hot water heater in both rooms, and toilet requiring multiple flushes in both rooms. The first room we were in for two nights had multiple maintenance problems of which they fixed three while we were there, but still had three more when we changed rooms. The chair cushions in the bar/lounge were stained. Several breakfast / dining tables wobbled. But the staff is friendly and compared to Hotel Supreme (Baguio) this hotel is far superior.

Relaxing escapade”
Azalea Residences is indeed a nice hotel in Baguio. The check-in is so quick and easy. Our room do not have have huge windows but is having small one facing the attrium, no aircondition but it is very cold still because of the fan. It is very accessible to Teacher's Camp, White house, Botanical Garder, Pink Sisters and 50's Diner. you may need to walk down for a few meters for public transport. The room and bathroom are big, we even have our own mini kitchen and living room. the sofabed is queen sized located at the living room. Generally, it was a great accommodation and I advised all my friends to try Azalea.

great place to stay, new, clean and beautiful”
i would highly recommend azalea residences for a very relaxing, 5-star like vacation. you will have the comforts of home. it is great that they allowed 9 of us (5 adults & 4 children) to stay in the 2 bedroom suite. it was family bonding time and the place made that time very enjoyable and memorable. the hotel is very clean and the staff were very friendly. the breakfast buffet was superb! staying in this hotel was the best treat from our stay in baguio city.

Very nice place”
Overall our stay was good! We stayed at a 2 BR place for 3 days 2 nights and it's quite charming at first. Very cozy and spacious. The bad things are the pillows and chair were very SMELLY. The toilet at the master's bedroom was always clogged. Good things.. of course there are! The buffet breakfast was COMMENDABLE!!! Probably this made our stay very satisfying. The tour recommended by the hotel staff was also good. We went to almost all the famous places in Baguio. I highly recommend Azalea to all tourist in Baguio. It's in the heart of the city so no hassle In going places.

Excellent”
My wife and I travelled up to Baguio and stayed at Azalea Hotel for the first time and what a wonderful experience we had. The staff are courteous professional and very friendly we found and the buffet breakfast, though it could have been hotter or dishes with warmers beneath, was sumptuous. This was one of only two setbacks that we had with our stay, but will definitely return again. Also, if you do cook in the rooms, be careful with the smoke alarms, where ours went off 4 hours after we actually cooked. Overall, what a beautiful hotel... Thank You Team Azalea! The Burnhams...

Worth the travel time and money”
The room was almost perfect: comfortable furniture, complete dining set, spacious and clean bathroom, etc. The freezer and the internet connection were the only disappointments. The freezer didn't keep our ice cream frozen and the internet connection was highly unreliable. But that won't keep us from staying in the hotel the next time we go to Baguio. Every hotel has its imperfections, and fortunately, Azalea Residences' are just minor.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly hotel staff”
Our stay at Azalea Residences was the best! ambiance is one of a kind! Rooms are very clean and spacious and clean bathroom with complete toiletries and towels! Food at their restaurants are very palatable, hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating! It's very near to most of the tourists spots in Baguio. The best part was that they have a kitchenette complete with cooking utensils and china wares where we can cook our own food! Best for the whole family or with friends!

Cost-effective. You get the bang for your buck!”
Booking was efficiently done here at Agoda. We got lost trying to find Leonard Wood Loop but it just locate 50s Diner and go straight to Leonard Wood passing by Munsayac Inn and Munsayac Furniture. At the end of the street/road, near the Leonard Wood Bridge, there will be a sign on the left hand side pointing towards Azalea. Continue on there on the street (it goes upward as its on a hill) and you will find the unmistakable Azalea entrance, with the symbolic ball designed with Azalea in the middle surrounded by flowers, which are aptly named according to their species. Check in was a breeze and after being provided by a key card, you could go on to the elevator and find your room. Finding the rooms was effortless, as there are signs pointing to where the room numbers are on each corridor entrance. Another thing I would like to note here is the transparency of the hotel. As is stated in the offer here, I got the back balcony, but even then the view was still interesting (at least, for me) as I got to see tall pine trees, apartments, and the backyard of houses with mossy stone stairs as well as their chicken coops. One of the trees even had bougainvilleas spread all over the top of it. It was peaceful. There were no hidden charges. Everything is explicitly stated. For example, service fees and told to be not included in the offered initial price here at Agoda but you can easily get a calculator and add up those charges to determine the amount you will pay. After that, there was nothing else. I was not charged for anything else. Everything I needed to pay for to avail are mentioned (e.g. laundry services, room dining service). The staff take care of their guests well and are always polite. They never compel you to tip them or treat you less than if you paid for the most expensive room, or even the room at full price. I have more to share, but maximum of 2000 characters has limited my space. To sum up, the hotel has world class features that everyone will enjoy.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay”
Location is close to downtown Baguio (Session Road). Staff are friendly, attentive and warm. Room is awesome - huge, complete amenities and tastefully designed. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite upon check-in. Just a note: they do not have aircon (only ceiling fan) likely due to the cool weather in Baguio year-round. We were there at the peak of summer and temperature at night was 21C, dropping to 18C around midnight so it was fine. With the price we paid, it is definitely value for money. I would rather stay here than in Camp John Hay Manor which is overpriced and badly needs renovation. Highly recommended hotel and my friends also heard about great reviews of this hotel.

Best accommodation in Baguio”
This was my 3rd visit to Baguio and I adjusted my dates per the availability in Azalea. The kind of service and staff you expect in a 5 star accommodation is what Azalea offers in form of serviced apartments. My first visit to Baguio was official and the room size of Manor was no way near to that of Azalea. Value for money in true sense, especially if you are with family.

Best customer service!”
This was my best experience staying at a hotel! The staff was absolutely amazing. We had a group of 15 adults/children and stayed in 2 of the apartment suites. It was raining and we checked in wet, and as soon as we walked in the door, we were all given towels to dry off and fruit drinks! The apartment suite itself is great, very clean with lots of space. The wifi is slow but that's not the hotel's fault - they are in the mountains after all. But just something to consider for the travelers that need internet access - you probably won't get it. The breakfast buffet was great. Lots of selections and the service was above and beyond. Azalea is only rated as a 3 star hotel but don't let that fool you. You'll get 5 star treatment and you will have a great experience! This is the only hotel I'm ever staying in whenever I go to Baguio.

Excellent choice for Baguio”
We stayed at the Azalea Residences in Baguio over the last weekend, all in all, I can give the Hotel 4 out of 5, the only reason why I could not bring myself to give 5 is that the staff needs to learn how to provide consistent information on available tours. We asked 4 times, we got 4 different answers, ending up renting a car from AVIS which was probably more expensive but much more rewarding. Back to the positive things. The Hotel is very new, it was opened last December 2011, and you can tell that from the rooms, as you will see from my pictures, the rooms are spacious, well appointed, and fitted with all needed appliances (Microwave, Water Heater, Blow Dryer, Iron Board, DVD Player, Radio, Alarm Clock,..) The furniture is nice and tasteful, the Bed is really good to sleep in. All in all, the room left nothing to desire from my point of view. The Breakfast Buffet, while not overly large, is plentiful and you can get omelettes or pancakes made freshly on demand, since it is included in the room price, it was really OK. The 500 Pesos quoted if you have to pay for it seem a bit on the high side though given what is offered. The Staff, in general, is very helpful and really nice, no complaints here either. The issue with the information regarding tours available would be really the only downside that we could see during the entire weekend.
