Great Hotel”

We stayed at the Metro Suites Apartment Hotel on the 15th Floor. We had previously stayed with Luxy NZ Apartments which shares the same building as Metro Suites and found both companies to be very similar. The Check-in process was quick and easy. The reception (located on level 2) allowed us to check-in ahead of our check-time as the room was available. Free wifi was included with our stay. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was sufficient for our needs. Laundry and kitchen facilities are provided within the room, which we found to useful, in particular the laundry. The location was fantastic within Auckland CBD, which allowed us to walk to many locations within the CBD. Highly recommend this hotel for travellers to Auckland.

Amazing staff, room, facilities, location. ”

Stayed here for 3 nights. The service was outstanding thanks to the lovely and talented Bipasha who works at the front desk. In addition to the amazing service, the location is perfect in the city center, and the rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean! I’d recommend a bayfront room with a balcony. The views are fantastic. I will stay here next time I come to Auckland for sure.

Excellent location, good service”

Fantastic central location, easy walking distance from main CBD streets, yet quiet. Clean and modern with a compact, well designed layout. Room had a kitchen, washing machine, dryer etc. Parking on site reasonable as it was per day, not one fee per night and another per day For the price I paid Avani Metropolis was great value.

Great Stay in Central Auckland”

I can't remember the name of the actual room I booked but it was the 38 Sq M room looking east over Albert Park with The Domain and the Auckland Museuml. I used Agoda and found a tremendously cheap rate ($201 AUD/night) which was great value for money as the room was spacious and crammed full of in room amenities such as a washing machine/dryer, oven, cooktop, microwave, toaster, safe, fridge, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, cable TV, Nespresso machine and a kettles. Bathroom was large and had a seperate bath and shower. There was a living area with a couch/sofa, desk and TV. Bedroom was toward the back of the room which lead to the balcony. 3 min walk to Queen St and another 5 to Sky Tower. Super clean. Pool and Gym on premises. Great central location. Helpful staff. Within walking distance to top restaurants and attractions. Will stay again when I return!

Avani Metropolis Auckland”

Tried a number of places in Auckland and by far the best. Location fantastic. Close to restaurants and felt like it was in a much safer area than previous hotels. Room was very clean and tidy. Hotel meticulous. Staff are so helpful. Definitely found the one for my visits to Auckland.

The best! ”

You don't have to go to the Sky Tower because you can see the Auckland downtown and the harbor in the Residence. It's the best accommodation with views, facilities, and amenities. If I visit Oakland again, I will visit here again.

Metropolis Avani Auckland”

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Although the room was a corner room with a good view and a separate shower and bath, the room looked a little more dated including the kitchen. The shower still takes a long time to get hot which is a waste of valuable water. There was not capsules of milk left this time. Windows were extremely dirty. Still my best place to stay in Auckland.

2nd time in Auckland”

This was our 2nd stay in the hotel and we were not disappointed. Our room was a 2 bedroom suite with wonderful views of the harbour and city. Location couldn't be better. Definitely our 1st choice accommodation in Auckland.

Amazing luxury in the heart of the city”

The Avani is situated in the CBD across the street from Prince Alberts Park and just a short walk to anywhere. The rooms are very clean and consist of a kitchenette with washer/dryer, living/dining room and separate king bedroom with a lanai overlooking the city. Very nice staff. There is s pool, spa and sauna available

Convenient and comfortable”

Comfortable apartment, right in the center of Auckland! We got upgraded to a sea view apartment and we found it to be clean and spacious enough for the 2 of us. You should take advantage of the delicious Krispy Kreme store located right next door, in the little square behind the apartment.

Exceptional”

Have always felt at home at the Metropolis. Upper level rooms with balconies are definitely recommended especially during summer. Rooms are always nice and clean with comfortable furnitures and bedding.

Good”

I like the location, not too many people around at day but always heard people yelled at each other at night and music as well, just couldn’t open the door at the balcony at night, 3 people at reception are very helpful and nice, 2 guys (1 is the manager and the white guy is also friendly, Sorry!! If I can’t remember his name, the blond girl who works there is also very kind. The only one thing that I don’t like is i couldnt breath while I was sleeping as I felt something dirty in the room, might be the curtains or carpets but I think curtains tho. So I felt a bit sick from that while sleeping. Anyway the rest is fine, price is good for the room and the facilities in the hotel, good service and good location

Excellent location and facilities for central Auckland

A good choice, but don't expect full hotel services”

Booked a suite for two nights over NYE and found the room a decent size, clean, nice sized and comfortable bed and first impressions were very good. However, despite a front desk, treat AVANI very much like a serviced apartment. No room cleaning was done over the two days and nights, we had to ask for fresh towels, no water provided, air condition didn't work. We opened the door a little and temp was fine, but would be nice to have some control.

Place to stay with an amazing view and comfort”

The stay was great, service was very helpful, the bed was comfortable and everthing was close by so we enjoyed the stay. Room was a little small for the price but it had all the immenities that we required and the view of the city was to die for. Suite was clean and well presented also, so thank you Metro Apartment Suites we will stay again at some stage.

Awesome New Years Eve Hotel”

It was a relaxing and fun stay. Great location. I love the beautiful lobby and it was a perfect location to celebrate New Years Even in Auckland.
