Great Hotel Near Airport”

I booked this accommodation only because I arrived in Auckland on the awkward times (1 AM in the morning) and I cant sleep in the airport. So I just randomly book any available hotels near the airport. When I booked this place, I literally have no clue nor expectation about what the hotel might looks like (the room, the facilities, etc), turn out, it was super great and beyond expectation! The room was very spacious, the bathroom was nice, very clean, and the staff (I just met one guy because I left around 6 AM) and he was also friendly (despite the hour and stuffs).

Friendly Service with a smile”

The staff at SilverOaks Inn Silverpoint are so friendly and helpful. They provide an excellent airport transfer service which is not only punctual but also quick and convenient. All you need to do is to give them a ring when you have cleared customers and arrived at the arrival hall. Next, they will tell u which exit door you should be waiting for them and they will arrive within 5-10 minutes depending on the Auckland traffic. since they are very near to the airport, it normal takes within 5 to 10 minutes depending of traffic conditions. Reception is warm and friendly. The staff is easy to talk to and willing to accommodate most requests within reason. The reception could be reached 24/7 which could be handy if you have special needs or an emergency. Loved staying there so much that i stayed 3 nights instead of the planned one night.

Value for money”

We had a great time there. The airport transfer was really good..We arrived at 6pm and departed next day at 5am and they provide us airport shuttle for free (even it is at 5am!). The room was huge and fully equip. Recommended for someone thay llt would like to stay for a night after a long flight and need to catch another flight next day. No need to worry about transportation to and fron the Auckland Airport.

7 minutes drive to Auckland Airport. Free airport shuttle. We have very early morning flight to Christchurch. Clean and comfortable studio room.

Silver Oaks Motel Review”

While there were no dining facilities on site, Viv drove us to an excellent local restaurant and had the owner's son drive us back to the motel after dinner as we no longer had our rental car, a most wonderful and unusually thoughtful accommodation. She also drove us to the airport upon the completion of our stay at the motel where we had 3 nights. While the motel is not new, the staff made every effort to be thoughtful and accommodate their guests. We have never had such lovely attention and caring in any other motel in our many years of traveling! I would rate them A+++++ for this factor.

SilverOaks at Silverpoint”

We've stayed here on at least 3 occasions and it suits our requirements exactly. No fuss, just collected from the airport, shown to our rooms, complimentary tea and coffee, comfortable beds and return to the airport next day. There a couple of nice restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel - we like the Baa and Bar, but there is also an Indian restaurant nearby. What more could you want?

Excellent Motel”

Well appointed rooms and very clean and modern. Tea and coffees along with a kettle were provided, also a fridge and microwave in the room. Airport Transport provided to and from the Motel for free. Excellent accommodation and definitely return and recommend.

Convenient place to stay”

Loved the place so much that I stayed 3 nights. The location is very near both the international and domestic airports. Very near mangere town centre, where you can do most of your grocery shopping if required. There is pak n save and other shops there. Cafes and restaurants just a few minutes drive away. One minute to the motorway as well as to the airport. Off the main road, so its not noisy, yet easy to access all areas. Parking is safe and secure. Not overly parked and clean and well-maintainted too.

Great Motel for a stop over”

We have stayed here before and will stay here again next time we are passing through the Auckland airport. We feel safe when traveling alone with the free shuttle service.

Convenient”

We booked this accommodation since it was near Auckland airport, not expensive, and had a shuttle pickup when we arrived late at night. The staff were very accommodating, and picked us up at the airport, and delivered us back in the morning so we could continue our travel into Auckland city in the daytime to pick up a car rental. We had to phone from the airport, and without a cell phone this was a challenge, but we did manage it on a public pay phone.

Great for a 1 night stay before an early flight”

Perfect for a short stay before leaving to go overseas on an early morning flight. Short drive to the airport. Good room setup. It had a nice kitchenette, clean bathroom and it was a really good size to open out suitcases. The only bad thing was that it was a smoking room and there was a lingering cigarette smell. I should have requested a non-smoking room (not sure they had one though).

loverly motel with considerate service”

Quite far from city centre, but very close to airport, 10 minutes drive. They have free shuttle service to airport, even your flight is in the early morning. The motel is in very quiet suburb, not many restaurants nearby. There is one nextdoor, and another two restaurants provide pick-up and send-back service to take you there, but we chose nextdoor one.

Above average”

The place is near Auckland airport and convenient for those taking connecting flight. It provides free shuttle service to and from airport. However, both aircond in the unit that we are given wasn't working. Even after informing the front-desk, no one attended to the problem. As we are tired from a long journey and have early morning flight to catch we have to open the window and go to sleep. Could not sleep through the morning as there were lots of mosquito.

The motel was good and the new owners were great. The only thing I was disappointed was the website that you book on Agoda states that the motel has it"s own restaurant and also stated that the motel was close to DFO. Their are no DFO shops near motel and this is misleading to tourist. It would be good if motel gave free wifi.

Clean but dated”

It's getting a bit dated and needs a good overhaul but it's very clean and close to the airport,with a free shuttle bus, 10 minutes by foot to several restaurants, It's not your destination hotel, but if your looking for a clean place to sleep between flights, this is it.

just for overnight stay it is very good coz its very near the airport specially if you arrived int he airport almost midnight. the cleanliness is only satisfactory coz as you go to the rooms you get to smell urine along the way

My third stay here”

I always choose this hotel over other budget accommodation in the area, even though it is furthest from the small shopping centre. This time I was in a recently refurbished room with upgraded security and a modern, stylish bathroom. I would recommend it to anyone needing a relaxing stopover near the airport
