Why can every hostel be like this.....amazing!”

I originally booked for 2 nights but cancelled after reading some negative reviews about cleanliness. However the hostel I looked into was not what I was expecting so moved to aquarizon for 1 night. It is superb, right in the backpacking district. Place looks beautiful and bright. Staff are an incredible and super friendly. Bunk is HUGE and dorm kept spotless. Plenty of toilets and showers, never had to wait to use them. Free towel, shower gel, comb and toothbrush/paste. Huge locker outside room for large bags and wardrobe cupboard in bunk for valuables. Also has a mirror and usb and plug for charging. Only criticism is that my bunk cupboard didn’t lock, seemed jammed but was no issue and had other cupboard outside room.

100% worth the money”

Everything was superb. Attentive receptionists with decent English, very good breakfast, great location and one of the best bunk beds I have stayed so far. I can't find anything negative and when I return to ho chi Minh I plan to stay in this hostel again. Booked 2 nights and ended up staying 4.

A hostel with character in the middle of Saigon’s party zone.”

This hostel FULLY commits to the aquatic theme (from the boat shaped bar, the textured walls, and other nick-nacks). It’s located in the middle of party central, but the rooms have great sound blocking so you can sleep. Each bed has a nice big privacy curtain, plugs for your gadgets, personal lighting, and a big cabinet at the foot of each bed with a mirror (a feature I’ve never seen at other hostels). There are also lockers with provided locks. The breakfast is comprehensive with nice bread, eggs cooked to order, western and Vietnamese food, and salad, all served on the roof terrace overlooking the city. If I ever find myself back in Saigon, this is where I’ll be staying again!

Short and Simple”

I was lucky to find this gem hostel. it's like finding a gem in a beach of sand. Rates are competitive and breakfast was perfect. Dedicated staffs round the clock to meet all your needs. There's a bar on the first floor, so you need not hunt for a bar. Get drunk and go up hit the bed. Very clean and tidy. I was particularly intrigued by how the owner went to great lengths to detailed craftsmanship for the beds and interior design. Only to know that the Boss of the hotel is both 195 and 197 bui vien street. I paid more on Agoda. Because they have a special webside where i enjoy 20% discount. A few downside was, throughout my stay, i got raped by not few but dozens of mosquitoes on the first floor. Highly recommend to all travellers wanting to try a unique layout of hostel rather than the conventional bed and breakfast type of hostel.

Very good”

Decent hostel, but not my favourite. Pros: Very nice and comfortable bed layout with good privacy, only four beds in my dorm, hangers and large locker for storage. Reliable and fast wifi. Large number of showers and washrooms that were clean, good pressure and hot water in shower. Despite being directly on the backpacker street, the room was quiet. Decent AC in the room, but the rest of the hotel is not air conditioned. Great location right on Bui Vien, the backpacker street. Cons: No real common area. There is an always empty open air rooftop and always empty bar downstairs, but no real place to hangout and mingle with other travellers. A common space to meet and chat with other travellers is the best part of being in a hostel. They should do a free beer like other hostels in HCM to encourage engagement. Staff speak limited english. Breakfast is basic and so so. The privacy curtain leaks in the room light at the top, good thing I brought a sleeping mask.

Couldn't ask for more”

Provided a towel, toothbrush, comb and a tray for shower. Everyone got a super huge locker outside the room with keys and CCTV at the corridors. Safety: all rooms got a pin, all lockers got a lock. Depends on yourself for the locker's safety, but you'll have to leave your room's safety to your roommates. In washrooms: steady hot water, clean toilets, mirrors, soap at washing basin, hair dryers. Beds: I stayed in a six bed dorm, got curtains, pillow, blanket, cushion and three cupboards with sliding doors but no lock. The big one have a hanging stick, one of the small ones got a light for it and a mirror too. Three plugs for each bed, where one of them is international (doesn't need a converter). Two sets of lights for your own bed, one stronger the other dimmer. Air-conditioned. Great space and facilities. Free breakfast from 7-10, basic salad, vegs, and two mains different each day (I tried sausages, rice, spaghetti), and an omelette with onions for each. Free water refill (both hot and cold) at the reception. Location: at the end of the bar street, opposite a Circle K. Great place to meet people. Not far from a local market for good and cheap Vietnamese bread (ask the staff). Despite the loud music on street, I gladly found my room peaceful and quiet. Staff: the local staff are just great! All of them speak a certain degree of English and communication wasn't a problem at all. I especially love the people at the reception, they're super helpful and nice! Reminders to future guests (especially girls): This is a bar and people do ask you out with different reasons. If you're not ready to go to bed with them, don't go out alone, for people get drunk easily ;) Things I didn't like: I think they got bed bugs and was bitten.. I didn't see one, just got up with super itchy bites and my roommates told me those are from bed bugs.

Nice capsule hotel”

Very nice decor, clean, ambient smells of cinnamon and spices. Not actually an hostel, but more like a capsule hotel with thick curtains to close the berths. Common bathrooms are well far away from bedrooms, as it should be. No real common area for mingling, as ground floor is a bar and open air rooftop is used for breakfast. Decent self service breakfast with choice of cooked eggs.

Beautiful and super clean!”

I loved this Hostel, I think is the best one I have been stayed during all my travel around Asia. Very clean and organised place, whit plenty of space to put your stuff inside and outside the room. Very cosy and comfy bed, good aircon and privacy, There are a restaurant with tasty food and reasonable price. The breakfast is the best thing with many variety like rice, eggs, bread, fruit and change everyday. I stayed 4 nights there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good number of showers with hot water and super clean as well. The location is the best, just in the middle of the backpacking street. I highly recommend!

Great Hostel for Solo Travellers”

I was absolutely amazed with this hostel, it was a Morrocan style hostel and it was very easy to locate. This is in Bui Vien which is the party street but we can’t hear the party music outside from our beds so I had a peaceful time. I stayed in theor dormitory room, each bed has a closet, light and also curtains so you have your own privacy. The only thing that I just noticed was the strong smell from the stairs, I think those are moth balls but I am sure, anyway, the scent was so strong. Also, the free breakfast was nothing special, the meals were heavy for a breakfast, good things they have eggs and coffee. Other than that, I had a pleasant.

Amazing”

I loved my stay @ aquarizon. The staff is lovely, the facilities are superb and everything looks so clean 24/7.

Almost perfect”

I stayed in one of the dorm rooms. The rooms are nice and clean, with spacious beds and lockable compartments, Each bed has a privacy curtain, personal light, and power outlet. There are larger lockable lockers outside of the room, which is perfect because you don't have to worry about making noise in the room or noisy roommates accessing their things at odd hours. The showers were probably the nicest I've encountered in Vietnam, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. It consisted of coffee/tea, fruit, a fried egg, toast, bread, and fried noodles as options. Reception was nice and helpful and spoke good English. A/C was on continuously. This place is almost perfect, if it wasn't for the musty smell in the rooms. It's not that big of a deal though. I did mistakenly think my sheets and pillow case hadn't been changed due to how they smelled. I later discovered that it was just the room smell that sticks to them after they've been in there for a while.

The best hostel ever ”

This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in awhile, the room smells nice and you will also get your own locker and toiletries which is really good for its price. This definitely feels like a 5 star hostel :)

Fun-tastic”

My 2nd time stayed in this hostel and highly recommended. Very thankful to receptionist Ms. Ngan for helping me a lot and of course Ms. Van, breakfast-in-charge. Keep it up.

The staff is pretty kind and friendly,compared with other hostels,it's ture that this is a nice hostel which deserves the money.Although it's just on the street that being paced with a great number of bars,rooms are really not noisy.

Best yet”

From an all around value for money perspective this hostel has been the best of my trip so far, the rooms and beds are brilliant, the airconi superb (and on all the time)and the included breakfast is fantastic. The staff have been nothing but helpful and friendly and the location is perfect, right on Bui Vien the party street but at the quieter end so not all offensive. I booked for 3 days and stayed for 10. Excellent!!

World class hostel/hotel and bar 😍,Amazing rooftop”

Wonderful location, World class facility Excellent staff with a big smile, very good English skills very helpful and especially “Van” The breakfast lady😊super nice. The only downside is that the rooms weren’t shoes free and lacking proper ventilation. hopefully the management will take into considerations fixing that. And Maybe they would consider adding a Refrigerator and a microwave for the guests. Highly recommended!! Thanks

Perfect location ”

Although this is on the Main Street, it is down the opposite end so no noise at all. The room is brilliant, clean and very spacious. Staff are beyond friendly and helpful. Location is great and you are able to walk to main attractions. Breakfast was also delicious. Make sure you get in early or you miss out on the meat. The general atmosphere of the hostel is perfect!

Great but not for solo travellers”

Hostel is nice and fresh. Hard to meet other travellers here. Bar downstairs was mostly empty even though street outside was crowded. Breakfast - good, capsule bed - well thought out.
