Great transit hotel close to transport hub”

This is not a hotel for a lengthy stay in Paris unless you like crowded, noisy streets. But for an overnight or short stay close to the transport hub of Gare du Nord this is a good choice. There are restaurants and cheap eateries nearby, some good shopping within walking distance and the Eurostar terminal, Metro and intercity lines are all very close by. The hotel is well managed, efficient and very clean. Our bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and had a good sized bath to soak in after along trip.

Basic but great location between 2 stations”

I stayed in this hotel for one night only because my Eurostar back to London was leaving at 7 am in the morning. The location is ideal- it took me 5 minutes to walk to Gare du Nord therefore saving me that beauty sleep I needed after all the partying in Paris. The room was small, but tidy and with all necessities provided for a short stay. The area is not great, so I would not advise you to walk there on your own in the dark.

One Night in Paris”

I stayed in this hotel for one night because I needed to take the Eurostar to London from Gare Du Nord the next day and exactly as claimed on the hotel's site, the hotel is 300m away from Gare Du Nord. As the hotel is located at the corner of the main road, it was easy for me to find when I got out of the Gare Du Nord station. The room, a tad small, is really clean. As I am a solo female traveller, security is of paramount importance. The door doesn't have a chain lock but I realise that many hotels in Europe don't have that too. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the hotel. However, if I am in Paris for sightseeing, I would choose a hotel in another location because there is nothing much near the hotel.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay!”

The proximity to Gare De Nord is fantastic so this allows easy access to all the sights and the Eurostar. The staff were wonderful especially as we checked in very late. The room was very comfortable and the bed was one of the best I have ever slept in. I highly recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Good location but old hotel”

The hotel lift is quite small and so does the room, but the hotel location is close to 2 station from gare du nord and gare d'elst, the closest is to gare d'elst if exit from the TGV train station,if you want to travel out from paris to another country you can consider this hotel and also they are some chinese restaurant with good food and cheap price.

wonderful hotel”

Wonderful hotel. Big modern rooms with modern bathroom and lovely toiletries. The room seemed to be soundproofed as once I shut the balcony doors I could not hear anything outside and slept like a baby! The rooms are airconditioned which was a plus as during my time in Paris they were experiencing a heat wave. The hotel provides 24 hour room service which I ordered and was a tad disappointed. From what I could gather the room service is farmed out to a restaurant or catering company so was quite minimal in amount and pricey. The area the hotel is in is quite old but some great cheap restaurants around 5 minutes walk that you would pay double for the same meal which are closer to all the main attractions. The other side of the street from the hotel there seems to be a gathering everynight of all men at restaurants and bars. I didn't go into any of these restaurants because of this. Being a woman on my own I was a bit nervous the first night walking past but fine after that, they all seemed to be quite well behaved and never approached me or said anything. One of the hop on hop off buses is around 5 minutes walk so really handy. All in all, I would recommend this hotel. I felt I got a bargain for the standard of hotel I got for what I paid.

Pleasant stay, good value for money ”

This hotel is a good 3 star that is good value for money. The area is a little questionable but we needed to be close to Gare Du Nore (5min walk) and the Moulin Rouge (10min taxi) for 1 night so this was perfect. Has all the basics you need and beds were comfortable.

Nice hotel in a convenient location”

Simple 3 star hotel very near to Gare l'est and Gare du nord. I love the many halal restaurants all around the area. Really spoilt for choice. Simple hotel and very clean. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back again.

location, service, nice & clean room - superb good”

Stay from 13-15 Apr 2011, 1st timer in Paris, can't speak a word of french. Very easy to find, short walking distance from EuroStar Station. Location is superb. Very friendly and helpful reception, breakfast is great too. Room is very new, comfortable and clean. Super value for money, will surely return to this hotel again.

Value for Money”

The hotel is small but clean. Staffs are helpful. Though it is nearby train station (5 mins walk from Gare du Nord), the surrounding area look unsafe especially at nightfall. Some bars nearby are very loud and rowdy. Overall, the hotel meets my expectations.

Excellent”

Location perfect for getting around 2 mins from gard du Nord. Rooms ok could do with freshen up . Lots of good eating places close by. Staff very helpful.

City hotel with easy access to train station”

Honestly it was not a good experience for me during my time in this hotel...the staff is a bit rude to us and there is a misunderstanding. Dun wish to recall back what had happened there...however this hotel has a good location, just a few minutes walk then you can reach the two main stations in Paris, there are gare du nord and gare du lest.

walking distance from Gard du Nord”

Stay was brief, just overnight before flying out of France. A good choice for convenience to get to the airport from Gard du Nord. We walked to Montmartre from the hotel, so location for sightseeing was good.

Simple boutique hotel”

Decently located within walking distance from Gare du Nord station. Standard double room is pretty cramp.

Petite hotel near the Train station”

Unfortunately, I arrived Paris one day right after the bombing. So I was nervously lodging a night before my Eurostar train to London next morning. The lift is a bit shaky. but the hotel inside is lovely. Though I do not understand why a blackout curtain for the mini balcony is made out of silk, I do enjoy the bed itself. A minus point that plastic cup was provided in the toilet.

Close to Gare du Nord”

Fit for travelers who want to stay close to Gare du Nord. Hotel room is clean and comfortable though size is small. Staff is extremely unfriendly. No sightseeing point nearby and metro stations are crowded giving a sense of insecurity. Some small restaurants nearby.

Great location but old room”

It is located very near the Gare du Nord station. So, it is very easy to travel to attractions in Paris. The room is quite old.

Excellent Customer Service”

The Hotel is located directly next to the Train Station! Such a convenient location for walking with luggage. However, quite a bit away from the sights. Take good walking shoes or plan to take the metro if you want to visit the Eiffel Tower and other sights. The staff was very friendly and accommodating - We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby prior to check-in, as well as after we checked out, so that we could go venturing around the city without the extra weight. It was a wonderful experience! I'll definitely book with them again.
