my 2nd stay at Antonio's Apartelle”
This is my 2nd stay at Antonio's Apartelle and I was as much satisfied as my 1st stay. In addition to my first review, they offer free airport pickup for guests who booked 3 nights or more. Their contact number and email address are also presented in their website so it was easy to arrange the pickup. During my stay, I used tricycles many times. If the driver doesn't know Antonio's Apartelle, just say "New Era university, (in) Malakas". It's very near the apartelle and well known to drivers. From the city's central area (like SM mall) to the apartelle, they usually charge 15 pesos/person but if you're alone, they might ask you more. From the main road near the apartelle to city center, it's just 10-15 pesos even if you're alone (e.g. 10 pesos to SM mall).

Wonderful Stay As Ever !”
We stay in this hotel whenever we visit General Santos City. Their services is getting better and better, we are never disappointed a bit. My 13 year old son is so appreciative of their free fast wi-fi, my hyper-active 4 year old has so much space to play inside the room. Very delicious food as ever. Our stay at Antonio's Apartelle”
My stay at the Antonio's Apartelle was great from the moment I arrived I was greeted with a real warmth like the weather. My room was a good size and spacious, the kitchen appliances handy to cook your own meals. The air conditioning very good to accommodate the heat from outside. The bed was large enough and comfortable for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was served on time everyday and staff were extremely polite and helpful. I would would to thank all the staff there who made my stay a pleasure. Thank you guys hope to visit there again.

This review is based on my 9 nights stay at Superior Suite(room with kitchenette). The room is spacious and relaxing unlike small hotel rooms. I encountered blackout a few times (as often happen in this city) but the electricity came back quickly thanks to their generator. Wifi signal was fair enough and stable. The internet speed was acceptable considering the city's standard, but Smart(LTE) was faster so most of time I used tethering from my phone with Smart prepaid SIM to use internet on my laptop. I ordered food twice, and each of them was good for 3 servings. The room has a fridge and a microwave, so I could freeze it and heat it to eat again. Water server is available 24 hours at the apartelle's restaurant area, which was especially helpful when I got thirsty at midnight. Free breakfast was as simple as rice + egg + chorizo + pineapple + instant coffee, and there's no menu to choose from. Be careful a list of american breakfast in the in-room menu isn't free breakfast. Laundry service is available at 30 pesos/kg. Hotel staff were friendly, which simply makes me comfortable. They also offer weekly and monthly rates without breakfast on their website, but downpayment through bank is required to make a reservation. They have basic medicines, but a pharmacy is also within walking distance. There's also a supermarket and a wet market within walking distance, and money exchange is available in the supermarket.

Very nice place”
I booked for three days but extended one more day...very nice place...clean, quiet, relaxing....large room with king size bed that was comfortable, with good AC ...comes with small refrig, kitchen area with table and chairs, sitting chairs, and a little front porch area with a sitting bench...the bathroom was small but had plenty of hot water and pressure....the restaurant had good food and served large portions...they even bring your breakfast to your room in the mornings...the staff was very professional and friendly at all times and attended to your needs...excellent wifi...I do recommend this hotel and I would stay there again if I visited General Santos...the only negative would be the location...if you are wanting shopping at the malls, then it is a good trike ride to get there and back....

My family was not disappointed when we arrived at the apartelle because we were not deceived by the photos posted online. Rooms are truly big, enough for my children to play inside that even my 1 yr olds car/walker has no prob maneuvering. My meticulous wife was impressed at how well maintained & clean the room & surroundings are. The staff are friendly & are quick to respond to your every requests. Car park is spacious & safe but if you prefer to have easy access of your car you can park it right outside your room. You are assured of a good rest all through out the day because the place is quiet & peaceful. The restaurant has plenty of variety of great food to offer but if you prefer to cook your own food, every room has its own kitchenette & you can request kitchen stuff to use at a very low charge. The place has also a quite unique location because its only a short walking distance to a market, school, hardware, pharmacy, some churches, ATM's & soon to open SM Save More & also only a few kilometers from a hospital. Security & WiFi is 24 hrs. We are satisfied with our stay there and definitely recommend it to families with children because the place is clean, safe, spacious, quiet, comfortable & affordable.

A home closer to "home."”
My stay was a pleasant one. I never felt so at home despite the fact that it was my first time at the apartelle. The staff were so warm and welcoming, courteous, sensitive to client's needs, and willing to take the extra mile to please the guests. Room amenities were more than enough to provide for a comfortable stay. Food servings were generous. Coffee experience was elevated to a new level. Overall, it felt like it was a home closer to "home."

My visit to Gensan”
Stayed in various hotels but by far my stay in Antonio's Apartelle was one of the most stress free and relaxing time with my new bride. We shall return soon.

Slightly overpriced and NOT as advertised, although staff is great”
Initially looked at the regular quarters (room with CR only), and they were slightly overpriced. We were informed they have a better suite, closer to our needs. I chose to pay the high end, in order to obtain a kitchenette apartelle, to be able to cook my own meals, only to find that the kitchenette was unusable - only a microwave and a dishrack were provided. The comforter (a.k.a. "emperor's throne") clogged with regular use (this tells me the sanitary plumbing throughout the facility is substandard - they made it too thin for the content). Expect similar surprises. There is even a note pasted in the Comfort Room stating to NOT flush toilet paper (!!!!) down the toilet.... The note is present in all of the apartelle units. The staff (kitchen and front counter) were very friendly and accommodating. Staff notwithstanding (they're doing their best to make the guest feel comfortable), save your money and go elsewhere, where the facilities actually have the amenities you're paying for.

hi my partner and i stayed 4 weeks the staff were very friendly and helpfull and would give good advice on places to visit the rooms were fantastic very very big and well set out and very clean ,we had a kitchenette and everything needed for cooking was there,the airconditioning was great ,noise from other rooms was at a minimium so you had no problem sleeping the food was great and the price was very very reasonable i throughly recommend this hotel the only negative i had is the reception for the tv as most channels were blured but i spoke to the manager and he assured me that it will be fixed so i am looking forward to my next stay next year

Best simple but good stay in GenSan”
I have stayed here over 300 nights since 2012. It is the best simple and homey stay, if you dont want a fancy hotel atmosphere, just a good safe place to stay, and conveniently located near markets, quick food, and main roads to town or out of town. I stay here because of the large rooms, quiet neighborhood, and kitchenette facilities. Its like a little home for me when I am working near GenSan. I have known the staff since 2012, they are always competent and friendly. I should give this place and amazing rating, but then Im afraid it will fill up and there wont be room for me next time I return, haha. Im a US research professor, doing scientific research nearby. This is a perfect home and working base for me (the wifi works great).

Excellent Stay”
My stay in this place was very peaceful , little bit far from city but if you looking for quite relax and undisturb place I would recommend this hotel. Not much of happenings like in city hotels , but can't compare the room size and comfort with any other hotels with the price . Specially if you like to cook your own food then this place has fully equipped kitchen which is the best part of my stay .

We spent 2 1/2 months in Antonio’s (early dec. till end march) and it is clean, quiet and safe!.The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are very( important) good.We had a room with kitchenette and there is airco and a fan too!. The food in the restobar is good. We celebrated the birthday of my partner with 30 people incl. dinner and the chef and staff prepared an excellent buffet! They have adorned the restobar with balloons and posters, and we could use the videoke. The workers are kind/polite and professional and they give you the feeling that they care about you! It felt like a big happy family! It was a very pleasant stay and for sure we’ll come back! Tip: shops and supermarket is on walking distance( 5min).

Spacious affordable rooms in Gensan”
The rooms were bigger than I imagined beforehand, with a fridge, good Wifi, breakfast included and cheap laundry service. The staff was nice and polite, and there was an armed guard on 24 hour duty. I stayed there for two weeks and it was all very affordable for the average tourist. Will stay there if I go back to Gensan some day.

I had a good time the staff was helpful and friendly. The mattress was foam and there is no toiletries supplied but for the price it was a very good value for money stay. I will definitely stay there again.
