Great choice for familly with young children”

We really like the swimming pool and the beach of this resort. The beach is very clean, compared to the others in Phu Quoc. The pool is very well suited to the young children because it is not too deep and just next to the beach. We really appreciate the staff as well, especially those in the two restaurants. They are very helpful and lovely. Overall, we definitely come back to Anja for our next trips in Phu Quoc.

My Holiday ”

Chauffeured to Anja Resort in a very classy vehicle, I was greeted by Miss Angel at reception. My room was beautiful. An oversized King bed, fresh crisp linen, robes, bath, rocking chairs on the balcony overlooking immaculate gardens and a fruit basket to greet me. I made my way down to the foreshore to see the view and was instantly blown away at the beauty! The pool, the bar, sunbeds, the beach! First Class! Over the days I melted into the world of Anja Resort. Everyday welcomed with smiles at breakfast by Miss Lee and friendly staff in the restaurant. The food was fantastic. The Bar and vibe around the pool and beach during the days and evenings was set with a friendly ambience. Music and friendly staff. Mr Nim, Mr Victor, Miss Lee and all the staff, that worked the bar were fantastic. Mr Claudio arrived during my second week and his kindness, knowledge and worldly insight was brilliant. Anja catered to all I dreamed of and more. I laughed and relaxed and came home re-energized!!

Major beach erosion along the hotels. If outside the area of the hotels, lots of trashes :(”

If it weren't for the typical looking hotel next door, Amarin and the dirty empty lot out front, Anja would be perfect. The foods ordered from the bar is surprisingly good. Prices are expensive as other places in Phu Quoc. Can't enjoy the beach at the hotel due to beach erosion and where there are reasonable size of the beach there are trashes everywhere. We were there at the beginning of April. The local government should make more efforts into improving the infrastructure (side walk, roads, lighting, garbage collection, etc.) to attract repeating tourists otherwise we would not go back to Phu Quoc if the same conditions exist.

Nice beach resort”

We enjoy our stay in Anja, definitely will recommend to anyone who wish to visit Phu Quoc. Resort attached with beach, having a nice small pool and moderate choice of buffet breakfast. Staff are friendly. Special thanks to front desk officer Mr Tan, providing us lots of travel tips and always ensure we are visiting worth going tourist spot at the right timing.

We have spent 11 months based in Ho Chi Minh City and travelling throughout Vietnam.. Until retirement we’’ve only done 5 star travelling, but in Vietnam we have generally gone 4 star and even 3. Anja Beach resort is 4 star, but has quirks. My normal rating criteria are based upon Location, facilities and staff friendliness and courtesy. On this last one, the staff, from management, restaurant servers, cleaners, reception and even garden maintenance people, were excellent; smiling, friendly and helpful at every level. The location on the beach was great. Cleanliness 9/10. At 4 star level, the only problem was the lack of design thought and usability of the Rooms. Dumb things like the only clothes storage was in the bathroom. The separated within bathroom toilet, was floor to ceiling clear glass i.e. no privacy. Taps over wash basins, didn’t reach into the basin correctly. Powerpoints not located usably in the rooms. The staff made the place overall very good.

We stayed at Anja Beach Resort & Spa for 6 days. It is a charming tropical resort adjacent to the best beach in the area, with fabulous fine white sand, free of stones. The swimming pool overlooking the beach gives a breathtaking feeling. The spectacular panoramic view through the coconut palms & fresh sea breeze all creates the unique atmosphere of this fantastic resort.

Top resort to laying in the sun”

Great service and great beach resort offering everything you need for peaceful summer vacation. The cleanest beach in Phu Quoc. Rooms beautiful, environment like from catalogue. They have free airport shuttle to take you from and to the airort which is really nice. City center is 10 min away from the resort and taxi costs about 3 USD one way. Maybe to add some things to do for active people that don't want to leave the resort or spend all the day at the beach. Otherwise top!

Gorgeous resort in Phy Quoc”

We stayed in a deluxe room in the Anja resort and it was beautiful. The room was spacious and very clean. Each night the staff lit a citronella candle in the room to ward of mosquitoes. The pool area was gorgeous and right on the beach so it is like an infinity pool. We walked along the stretch of the beach and it looked like the best set-up by far. The food was also really nice. It is a taxi ride to the night market, but there are also some lovely restaurants within walking distance from the resort too. There was air con in the room but my only suggestion would be to also put an air con unit into the bathroom area - it was always very hot in here as the air con unit wasn't powerful enough to cool down the whole space.

Exactly What I Was Looking For”

I had some remote work to get done and I was looking, for a peaceful well appointed location to do it in. Staff were super nice and helpful. I wasn't looking to leave the property and I didn't have to - everything I needed was provided for me. Room was nice, grounds were lovely. Breakfast was plentiful Happy hour beer watching the sunset was awesome Thank you Anja Beach Resort

Very enjoyable trip”

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway and beautiful beach. Anja is the place to go. the rooms are quite spacious and toilets are adequate sized. The winning factor is the staff service, even though they have limited English spoken ability, they make up for eagerness to serve and attend to the guests. I celebrated my wives belated birthday celebration and Linh and Nim the CS Manager and F&B Manager, were very engaging and helped make the celebration dinner memorable and beautiful. I would definitely return to Anja and I would highly recommend to others. Only thing is that the Reception is quite small spaced, but it is just the first impression that throws you off, after that the place is excellent. Plus the daily buffet breakfast offers a different asian and western menu which is good

We had an amazing holiday”

We spent 3 days here, the resort, pool, beach, restaurant and staff are all fantastic. Anja resort is a short taxi ride away from centre where you can find everything you need. Villa was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had everything one may need. Breakfast had a lot of choice so we often went back to the buffet to forage for something new. There are a lot of restaurants a short walk away that serve amazing food. Sunset watch on the beach every evening was mind blowing!

Room is spacious and value for money”

Its a nice resort. easily access to private beach and mud spa. Very close to the Airport and The Resort provide free Airport shuttle is a Bonus. Spacious room with super king size bed. Walking distance to nearby Restaurants and cafes. You can walk to the Phu Quoc Night Market takes about an hour... I did :) Breakfast selection quite limited. Staffs are friendly.

Went Phu Quoc just for a flash trip and Anja stay was relaxing with comfy bed and pillow. It's funny to see two pair of slippers provided come with totally four different sizes.

We really enjoyed our stay at Anja. We should have booked more nights here. Location is good, shops are within walking distance. The hotel is by the beach. Sincere thanks to the receptionist Tan for his help and information. He speaks good English and he is able to answer all questions. Superb service! All hotel employees are friendly too. Superb Views and Nice Beach”

Anja beach is situated on a really nice stretch of beach. The property doesn't have many units and hence the beach is quite empty. The place is nice and the room is pretty big. We stayed in the deluxe villa (2 adults and kids under 5 years old). My kids love the pool and the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Extraordinary with the best sunset view”

Pro: -clean -staff is friendly despite they cant speak fluent English but still tried their best to help us in arranging everything, including tour and taxi. - love the environment - private beach - best sunset view -separate bathtub and shower - they food taste good - quiet and private - provide free airport 2 ways transfer. Cons: - breakfast variety not much but taste good. - a bit distance from the busy area but it doesn't bother us as taking Mylin (green color taxi) or Saigon (yellow color) taxi is fairly cheap. Getting to the town cost around 50-60k dong. Overall we had a great time at Anja. Will definitely come back next time~

Sun and sand priority.”

We love the Carribean and have our favourite little island in the Grenadines. However, we found ourselves in this part of the world and had to choose a resort. We would love to go back here. Many competing resorts around but we love the easy ocean swimming, with the gentle slope of a sand bar that seems go on forever. Location is good because it is not right in town, breakfast is exceptional, rooms are big,staff is terrific and there is always a beach chair under a palm tree when you need one. Perfect!

Good value hotel resort”

Anja delivers on every item. Clean, good location, great staff, and a lovely pool/beach/bar area. With the help of the customer service manager, Claudio, every request and need was met with a smile. Highly recommend giving Anja a look.

Great place and great staff”

We stayed here 3 nights and it was fantastic. We got a free upgrade and the brought us a cake, because it was my wife her birthday. The resort is New and looks very nice and cosy. There is a nice swimming pool next to the beach, the staff is super friendly and the breakfast and food at their restaurant tastes great. Just outside the resort you can find a few nice restaurants (luckily) away from the mass tourism. You can also rent motorcycles at the resort which we did and what is a great way to explore the island. I would highly recommend this place.
