Beyond Expectations”

Great stay experience at the incredibly beautiful blissfully serene beach resort, Angsana Teluk Bahang. Spacious room and bathroom with modern design and absolutely clean since it’s a brand new resort hotel. Booked with king deluxe as I love the design of it but premier room given, anyway it’s fine for me. Spectacular views of ocean and lovely balcony. Wonderful, polite and friendly staffs with their tip top service provided, especially Abi from reception and Rina from Jendela. There are many great staffs but unfortunately they don’t have any name tag yet for me to address them. You’ll be in love with their amenities! One night stay is definitely not enough, can’t wait to come back soon. Congratulations on the opening of Angsana Teluk Bahang ;)

Superb, Spacious, Beautiful New Hotel with Seaview”

::One night staycation with kids at @angsana.telukbahang Penang Dec 2020:: This 5 Star Resort is newly open on 10.10.2020, located on Teluk Bahang beach Penang. All rooms are sea view facing Andaman sea. We stayed in 2 Bedroom Pool Suite. The suite is very stylish and colourful with Peranakan Themed decor and very spacious!! This suite consist of: 🏠 Living area 🍽 Dining area with kitchenette 🛌 2 bedrooms - both rooms with King beds❤ 🛀 2 bathrooms with 2 big bath tubs❤ 🏊‍♀ Private plunge pool🥰 facing sea view❤ 🖥 3 big screen TVs - the TV can share mobile screen All areas (living area & both bedrooms) have sliding doors to see the sea view and going to the plunge pool! The door's curtains are automatic open and close!! 😱 Really love all the provided amenities! Bath gel and shampoo with very nice fragrance and they provide bath salt too at bath tub area❤ They have beautiful bathrobes, slippers in room, slippers for the pool/beach and also beach bags for the guests to be use during the stay❤ They have 3 types of swimming pool: 🏊‍♀ Infinity Pool at Level 3 🏊‍♀ Children Pool with waterplay features 🏊‍♀ Normal pool for adults My kids really enjoyed all the pools in this hotel including the private pool at our room🥰 Beautiful seaview scenery as well ❤ There is also kids' play room just near the swimming pool! You can see through the sea view & swimming pool from the large window glass!🥰 Also we love the services during check in & check out in their beautiful lobby! They also served a very delicious welcome drinks during check in & check out: 🍹Nutmeg + Calamansi juice 🍹Pineapple + Calamansi juice 🍪 Traditional biscuit called Telinga Rempah/Telinga Gajah Another good point - the services and hospitalities given by all the staffs were very superb!! Note: Get ready of RM500 for the deposit upon check in and you can use it to pay the food in their restaurant!

New and Seaview room”

Best Seaview room in Penang island. It is located at Teluk Bahang, so be prepared to enjoy tranquil time with your family, or love one. The staffs is so friendly, and the food is good as well. The only downside is there is nothing much surround Hotel. But definitely can spend whole day in the hotel with pool, lazy bed and beers

Exceptional”

Booked a 2BR suite for 3 nights our family of 5, my 3 teenage girls shared the 2 twin beds and it worked out fine. Love the jacuzzi at the room front yard. Staff are very courteous and friendly, can’t go wrong with the Banyan Tree brand, special thanks to Sam at the front desk, Vinh the assistant GM and Ridzuan the floor manager at the Jendela. Breakfast though good standard in general that includes salmon sashimi, could be improved to include waffles and hash browns, or even nuggets for children. First time to travel beyond Batu Ferringhi and really love to have a nice resort at Teluk Bahang, away from the commercial areas. Will return again

Best sea view and private beach”

Initially personally i had bad experience during my first time stay in the hotel, problem with the room lightning, unable to switch off, was very disappointed, lead to be first bad impression but everything changed after the staffs and also the manager on duty, Mrs. Stephanie Ang were very helpful, patient and professional in dealing with my complaint. Problem was resolved with immediate response. Hotel is one of breath taking sea view , private and quite beach. The morninv breakfast was quite good and i can rate 7/10. The hotel is still 3 months old, just opened its door in october this year. So far the rest of the facilities just like other 5 stars hotel, but Angsana can win for their best sea view and private beach, will recommend to those who are looking for the view. -Dr. Muzafariman Mydin

Luxury hotel in Penang”

We had a 2d 1n stay at the Angsana and had a great time. The room was spacious and the view was breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and fulfilled all our requests. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Due to the opening promotion, our room comes with breakfast for 2A and 2C and a RM100 food voucher. It was very good value for money considering Angsana is a luxury hotel. We loved it and hope to return soon.

Nice place”

A brandnew hotel with a very beautiful scenery. The hotel staffs are very helpful and softspoken. The kids pool is very nice with a small waterpark and the family pool is just next to the kids pool. Infinity pool is at the Jendela where you can have your breakfast n swim at the same time 😆. This pool's view is sooooo nice. The foods are yummy. From and empty stomach, you will go back to your room with a huge tummy 🤪. So careful with the foods portion that you will take. Butttt.... The chargeable things in the room is not acceptable for me. Certain things in the room will be charged. Eg laundry bag, slippers. So if u want to bring them back home, you must to pay first. Overall I will give 4.5 * for this junior hotel at Penang.

We love the hotel!”

I stayed in a pool suite with my husband and children while my parents and sisters stayed in sky garden suite for 3nights. we enjoyed our stay and it was so far the best pool suite that we’ve been to. The breakfast buffet was average. Hopefully the hotel could add more menu for Jendela especially for kids. In room dining should be extended till at least 10pm. Hopefully next time I can try lunch or dinner buffet because for the moment it is not available during weekdays. Hotel also should alternate hi-tea menu since we were served same things for 2 consecutive days. Coffee and chocolate drinks that we bought during our stay taste bad. Should improve as the price is expensive. But overall we still love the hotel and would repeat our vacation there.

New, clean and friendly ”

We booked king deluxe, big room with king bed facing the balcony, overlooking the sea! Price was close to rm600, with free mini bar and rm100 restaurant credit. Really worth it! We travelled with 4 and 7yo, they loved the kids pool. It has ranger club for the kids too. The beach also clean and fine. We enjoyed the trip. Breakfast has varieties. One feedback is, we tried to have a proper dinner, but only has jendela opened, number 11 was closed on monday. So we ended up having dinner and bfast at Jendela, it will be nice if we hv more options (as we planned to stay whole time in hotel, not leaving for meals).

Honeymooners”

This hotel is to go for especially honeymooners. Privacy, quiet and peaceful. Their staffs will open the car doors for you, excellent bellboy service and receptionist. Wide selection of food choices. Complementary drinks in the fridge🥰 and RM100 food credit so you can redeem the food for in room dining. It had an exquisite deco and we enjoyed our 2 nights there. But somehow some improvements can be made. The timing for in room dining(late for 10 minutes) and the kitchen staffs punctuality.

Pro 1. The superb paranoma Seaview. 2. The service n welcoming feeling upon chekc in. They get ur name when u drive in n prepare all ur information before u heading to counter for check in. A bellboy is assisting u to carry luggage to room without u to lead them. Front desk wil inform them n deliver to ur room before u step in. 3. Friendly staff with confortable greeting everytime passing by. 4. Nice n luxury decorations. Good spot for photo taking. Cons. 1. Hygiene issue. The towel, floor map n pillow case was found with obvious stain. The in room diningplates were left at service lift for few days no one in cleaning it (we stay 4days, same plates were there since day 1 n a big rubbish bag were place there overnight). I found a lizard in my luggage. 2. Parking entrance is very small hard to turn and the parking is super dusty. Beware of water leaking. 3. Breakfast at jendela is bad, only things I felt nice is the cold cut n the fruits which does not required them to cook. The hot food are tasteless even ham can become tasteless. 4. No11 is good but can be better, the bread is very hard. Environment doesn't looks like a fine dining place but they trying to serve n charge like fine dining. 5. Gym is super small.... It doesn't looks like a 5 star hotel gym. Only few machine available. Overall... U r paying for the hotel view rather than the facilities or food. This hotel is more comparable to the lexis rather than Shangri-la or parkroyal.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a very good buffet breakfast was included daily in the price of our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. If I ever visit again, and I would love to, I'd stay again

Duty manager promise to get back but to no avail till today”

What wonderful experience with my stay in Angsana 1. My room airconditioning system doesn’t work well and sleep in heathy n sweating atmosphere in the first nite 2. With my daughter and wife around I feel uncomfortable when 3-4technician came to our room just to fix the aircond control switch. 3. Finally the aircond problem did not solve and I was offered to change to other room. 4. We were transfered to another room on 11th floor and this is where 2nd night experience came, room light was on by the bell boy who help to carry our luggages , we were in the room all along with all the lights on, almost come to midnight when about to sleep I want to switch off master room light but the switch doesn’t work, I try every switches in the room but still fail and yet we selpt in a very very bright room. 5. At the same time my room aircondtining start problem as eraliest room, keep trying to adjust the temperature but it doesn’t work yet again we got to sleep in heathy room again 6. Wake up this morning I saw one cockroaches wandering around. 7. Hotels consist of 2 blocks and reception counter at the main block and hotel room is on the other block yet the lift to guest room located right at the end of the block hence you’ve got to walk from one end to the other end, not so friendly for elderly 8. 1st nite having dinner in Jendela coffee house, very very limited a’la carte menu with 2choices of western, 2choices of sandwich, 2 choices of local dishes, food not tasty at all and it’s quite pricy, RM45.00 fried rice with that kind of taste (ought to be improve)...huhhh what frustrating. Hotel rate almost at par of 6star hotel but experience which i went through is rather unusual.

The best seaview ”

Really happy with room and big balkoni. Friendly staff. They did extra job to make our stay wonderful like decoration for my wife birthday. Sea facing was amazing. Check in are easy. Only the Food and beverage team cant handle the crowd. Since its new opening most of the guess eat at the hotel. We wait until 1&1/2 hour for the food.

Is a new hotel so everything still new and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Awesome Seaview from our rooms and super comfy at night with the sounds of sea waves.. Recommend if want to find a not so noisy hotel for your vacation.

Good”

Stay for 2 nights with 3 Premier room request for late check out even half hour also not allowed by the hotel. They will call up 11.30am see u need bell boy to carry luggage and chasing to check out at 12pm. Is a stingy hotels with lots of rules. Not really enjoying the stay with this high price. Penang still got others 5 stars hotel better than here.
