2 Hours waiting, with 2 times similar problem”
The management should care about the customer right, when we asked to check in based on schedule 2 pm (even we have made early confirmation 2 hours before) our room still not available yet. 2 HOURS WAITING without confirmation and we have to re-asking and asking..Good hotel but worst in staff service. 2 Times got this similar experience. But we appreciate the management appologize, I suggest the management should evaluate their system.

Frankly nothing much to do around. We took a walk to the cinema to watch a movie. Breakfast was cold. Have to walk out the main building to go to the pool. TV remote, safe not working and staff replaced them after.

Waiting for 1 hour++ to check in”
I think the management is trying to keep costs down, so the check-in process is affected by the lack of manpower. If you try to reduce costs, your reputation will be the worst and it will ultimately affect your business if you ask your customer to wait for 1 hour no matter what reason your staff explained to me. The air conditioner in the lobby was broken and it was very hot while waiting in the lobby. The wooden structure of the lobby walls was also infested with termites. Such a sad end for such a good hotel that started out this way.

Old Hotel”
The hotel is a bit undown hotel, old and not properly upkeep. Towels provided is old and brownish. Water pressure is bad and aircond is not cold. Toothpaste supplied at the toilet is hardened. Breakfast got variety but have to constantly need to tell them to replenish because the portion serve is small quantity. I would not be staying here the next time I visit Pekanbaru and would also not recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Stayed at Angkasa Garden with two young kids and had a very enjoyable stay. Staff are nice and efficient, great new pool. The breakfast is satisfying and the room is spacious and complete. Think we'll be back!

This is a new hotel ( about 6 months ) and located at Jln Setiabudi off Jln Sudirman. We booked 3 Deluxe Rooms for one night stay (S$50/- each ) after returning from the Qurban ritual (Idil Adha) at Kg Pulau, Rengat (about 4 hours drive from Pekan Bahru). The room is big with king sized bed and clean white sheets. Toilet with hot shower is adequate and very clean. Aircon is can be very cold – with portable remote control. Breakfast is local and spread is adequate - friend rice, noodles, Chinese style porridge, desserts and toast. As usual the omelette maker will standby for your order. The shopping centres are not very far – along Jalan Sudirman and distance to Bandara Airport is about 15 minutes if there is no jam/macet Sometimes the taxi driver will ask for additional IDR 5,000 to go into the Airport – but I later learnt that taxis are exempted. The hotel staff including the bellhop and waiters are very polite. I can single out the tall, pleasant and very polite waiter ( don’t know his name ) who runs the karaoke/TV lounge on the ground floor who serve your drink orders at night. He will also be present during breakfast time. Pls extend my complements to him. Outside food is no problem. A lot of stalls selling noodles nasi Padang shops along the road. Contra : No extra pillows and the bathroom has two floor traps but poor drainage. Anyway, the stay is very pleaant. My friends were very happy with the choice.

Hotel is new so there were some construction around during my stay. It lasted until about 10 pm at night. Rooms were nice and clean with good Wifi. Breakfast was also adequate and the waiters were very helpful and friendly.

value of money, good breakfast, nice swimming pool. very helpfull staff but no iron facilities in room, hotel provide iron service but i not satisfied. not answer the phone for massage service & 2 times blackout for a 1 minute, it make a bit scary.
