Good value and clean cottages.”
We really liked this place. There are three attached cottages, each with their own bathroom and patio area. But the way they are designed means that you can sit on your patio area but also have some privacy. The design is very nice and modern. Everything is very clean and the bed was big and comfortable. The air-con worked most of the time, and there was also a fan if needed. The bathroom was big and the shower had hot water (when there's power). The staff were lovely, so friendly and helpful in booking island hopping tours for us. The place is on Caalan Beach, about a 10-15 minute walk from El Nido. It's a nice little walk around the beachfront, but you definitely need a torch at night. Other reviewers complained about this walk, but we thought it was no problem (except when carrying your bags there, but you can find a motorbike driver to help you for 50 Pesos). And you get much better value for money on Caalan Beach. And, the sunset is beautiful from AngelNido. You can't actually see much of a sunset from El Nido, because Cadlau Island blocks a lot of it, but it is much better from Caalan Beach. And AngelNido has some chairs and tables set up by the beach so you can enjoy a drink while watching the sun go down. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again. El Nido and the Bacuit Archipelago are beautiful.

Extremely happy with our stay”
I would like to thank the staff of AngelNido resort who did their best for us to feel comfortable. I have no complaints about this place. The location is a bit off from mayhem of El Nido town proper, which is actually a positive thing. Quiet, safe and comfortable place for your beach vacation. The rooms are very well furnished and convenient. Everything is very proper. Ample number of sockets for charging, comfortable bed, daily housekeeping, clean. We are very happy of our stay and if we get the chance to come back to El Nido one day, I will not hesitate to book at AngelNido again. Our big thanks again to the staff who made us feel really welcomed and safe. Cheers.

Best location - amazing staff”
Angelnido is a secret gem in El Nido. It is right beside a very pricey hotel/restaurant. We believe we got a great deal on this property. They dont serve as many dishes as that neighboring restaurant but breakfast is good here. The staff makes you feel like you are always taken cared of. Its a good 10 mins walk to town which was great as I was able to always walk hand in hand with my partner. It feels like theres always something to see on the way back to our hotel even if we take the same route everyday. This place, unlike most places, doesnt feel like they are only after your money. The staff are genuinely caring and concerned. The cottages are very clean and felt like a home to get back to. Internet tho is a bit slow but you didnt come to El Nido for internet anyway. The location is oceanfront tho you cant really swim where the hotel is its rocky however you can snorkel/kayak. We kayaked to the opposite island and it was a great adventure. You can rent a kayak from this hotel. It has a great view for sunrise and sunset and also for breakfast. Its super quiet unlike the hotels in town.Ill come back and stay in this property again.

Beautiful, quiet family run cottages”
AngelNido is located a short strall away from the 'town centre' of El Nido. It has the perfect location if you want a quiet, relaxing stay in El Nido. The 3 cottages are spacious and come with an ensuite bathroom and private terrace. There is a lovely breakfast area overlooking the water and a nice bar. The facilities are great, but what's more important is the loveliness of the owner and staff who make youl feel part of the family. Gianmatteo, his wife Concesa and daughter Angelica as well as the staff Kring and Raol are some of the loveliest people we have met on our trip and they do everything to make you feel welcome. You can get authentic Italian pasta cooked by Gianmatteo which is a real treat! Breakfast is good too and you can book tours and rent Kayaks/Scooters with the staff directly which is nice and easy. This is the perfect place to stay in El Nido, we cannot recommend it enough. We miss Kring's friendly smile and Angelica's cute drawings she made for us! Hope to be back!

Great place to stay in El Nido!”
We loved our stat at AngelNido! The staff were wonderful, always very friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely and well landscaped and the whole place has a cozy and comfortable feeling. The hammocks are a great place to hang out and read or just enjoy the views. The room was comfortable and very clean. We really liked the location. It is about a 15-minute walk from town, but we thought it was a nice walk, through an area where the locals live and hang out. There were always kids out playing, and a few little shops along the way. AngelNido serves good food, but there is also a place called Makulaya about a 5-minute walk away, which has very nice food and atmosphere, if you don't feel like walking all the way into town for dinner. Would definitely recommend this place and will be staying there if we ever make it back to El Nido!

nice location, and great staff and breakfast”
We find overall the accommodation price in El Nido is high compare to say Panglao, where we also stayed before El Nido. As for AngelNido, it is a nice and quiet 10min walk from main El Nido town and it has generator so it is handy during the sporadic power outage. It is right next to ocean (rocky), and you can walk out to during the low tide. The staff and owner are very helpful and friendly. The Italian owner and their staff knows what a western tourist like/dislike, so you won't get bad surprises :) We liked their pancake breakfast (included for our booking), and ordered the same for the 4 nights we stayed there!

Amazing hidden gem”
Where to begin? Incredible! I don’t have enough good things to say about AngelNido. To start the staff/family are amazing. You feel like part of the family the moment you arrive. Everyone is so accommodating, friendly and helpful. You get a very welcoming vibe the moment you step foot in this quaint resort. The resort is a very private location and the grounds are perfectly landscaped to make you feel you’re on a private island. It’s far enough from El Nido main town so you don’t hear all the motorbike traffic and can fall asleep to the sound of waves everynight. Don’t worry it’s not too far. Only a short 10 min walk but they also have a trike service for 50 pesos if you don’t want to walk. Exercise is good especially once you’ve tried their bbq they offer on their menu. A must try at least one night during your stay. They also offer pasta which is top notch, and would be since it’s Italian owned! Bonus is the rooftop terrace. We are counting down the days until we can come back.

Loved it! What a view!”
Outstanding little resort! We were greeted by a friendly owner and staff and with a cocktail and tasty bruschettas. The property is peaceful and right by the sea with outstanding views of the surrounding islands. It is small resort which will give you a chance to relax and enjoy beautiful El Nido. The center of the city is just 10 minutes walking distance away. If we ever come back we will definitely choose to stay at AngelNido again!

Simply wonderful!”
I can't begin to express how wonderful it was to stay at Angelnido! The location out of the town meant it was quiet. There are only 3 cottages plus a couple of rooms for backpackers. The food was simple and delicious. The staff were awesome! We loved sitting by the bar in the afternoons chatting to them; by the end of our stay, they felt like family. They organised island hopping for us and it was cheaper for our family of 5 to have a private tour rather than be squashed on a boat with others. If you are considering El Nido, consider Angelnido...I really don't think you'll be disappointed!

Seaside hideaway ”
A calm and quiet place with very serviceminded staff. Nice hangout area by the cobbled beach, and if you are lucky to book the seaside room you have a patio with a wonderful view. I really loved AngelNido and the only downside is the dark and bumpy road from El Nido town. The resorts should fix the road with common efforts! In summary: I highly recommend AngelNido.

Hidden Gem”
Our stay was very good,we both loved every minute,in fact we tried to come back a day later but they were fully booked. We stay for 3 nights,it is run by an Italian man and his wife. The place is AMAZING,so quit away from the town but close enough at the same time. So no scooter beeping,no traffic noise,no loud music just peace and quit! The rooms are modern but still have the Philippino feel and look. Ok first thing, internet and power are a small but big problem in El Nido, but here the power never went out and the internet was the best we had for our trip. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommended AngelNido to anybody! Oh and they have nice pasta with REAL Italian ingredients..

Exceptional”
To be honest, at the begining I was kinda worry about the hotel. Because you need to passby little muddy road, with cemetery aside, I was waiting for sand beach in front of me to lay down, but finally only rocks and coral. HOWEVER, This is definitely one of our best travel experience thanks to the personnel in AngelNido. They were always there to help you, to answer your need, smiling at you in a very friendly way. I think people I met is the reason why I like Palawan so much. They are so beautiful inside, I'll never forget it. I would recommand AngelNido for those who want to enjoy the tranquility, laying on the hammock, watching the sea, listening the waves and reading. Let how we enjoyed there. Don't forget also to rent a kayak and go to paradise beach. If you are fed up with numerous tour just like us. Enjoy!

Great value ”
This is a fantastic and great value little resort a short walk (10 mins) from the centre of el nido (bring a torch for night). The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and extremely clean and the internet was the best connection we had in the Philippines. If you're lucky enough to get the room nearest the sea, the view's stunning. If not (like us) there are a couple of tables and a hammock to appreciate it from. You can also have breakfast there which while being nothing special food-wise comes at the time you order it (relying on Philippine service when you've a boat or plane to catch is a risk). The only thing I would say would be the company they use for tours isn't great (it's about halfway to town). We booked tour A with them and were quoted 700 pesos but when we turned up we were told that we were the only clients so the price would be 900 plus 300 each for snorkeling gear. Still not bad value for a private boat and in spite of the useless guide, the tour is amazing. We booked our other tour at alternative (also great for a cocktail on their lovely, if slightly precarious, balconies). With this place the snorkeling gear is included (due to a late breakfast and hence departure there weren't enough fins to go round though) and more importantly the guide was excellent, showing us the best snorkeling spots (he even found us a turtle!) All in all we had a great time at Angel and having seen and heard about several other places, I don't think you'll find a nicer or better value place in El Nido.

A home away from home”
My girlfriend and I spent 8 nights at the AngelNido Resort and could not have been happier with our choice. The location was perfect for us- a short distance from the town but very private and quiet with the most amazing view. We stayed in the sea front bungalow which was incredibly comfortable- basic but very clean and quite spacious. What stood out the most for us however, was the resort staff: Extremely friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and easy. They assisted us greatly in organising the boat tours and transport and their home cooking was just fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our say there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to fellow travellers.

Beautiful hut - Great Location”
AngelNido is a great place to stay in El Nido, it is about a 10 minute walk away from town on a path which hugs the coast. The fact that is's outside of town is great because it's quiet and you can get away from the noise. We took the walk several times and it was never a chore. There are only 3 beach huts there, but they are clean and spacious. It's a really tranquil and beautiful resort. They have hammocks which overlook the bay, which are great to take the sunset in. The owner was really cool but his staff were a bit hit and miss. They weren't necessarily rude but every time I asked for something it seemed like I was inconveniencing them, but to their credit they helped every time! We booked tours through them and they picked us up from right outside which was great and they also arranged other services. All in all I would stay there again, because it's location and beauty is top notch for what you pay for.

Clean, affordable, beautiful view, nice staff. Olga and Vladimir from Vancouver, Canada.”
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Location is quiet and view is gorgeous, very clean. They serve modest but nice breakfast( we always added one fruit plate for 120 pesos and it was enough for the start of the day) - people, who complain on food there, forget about small price per room. They can do laundry for you - 100 pesos/ kg, there is no shampoo or conditioner in your room - be prepared, there are umbrellas for guests. The road to the hotel is seriously muddy during and after rain. Negative thing- when we arrived at El Nido airport we could not reach them by phone( they were suppose to send tricycle for pick up). We arranged our transportation by ourselfs( do not pay more than 200 pesos), we had to drag our suit cases fo 15 min, as taxi- tricycles so do not go there. It was hot, humid and muddy. When we finally arrived and asked why they did not pick up the phone, the lady smiled in reply and told that battery was probably dead. No apologies or event hint of remorse. We were furious but then later we realized that it's common for Phillipinos and forgot about it. First lunch we had at neighbor hotel Cadlao- very expensive, but tasty and well appealing food - we spend 2000 pesos per 2 big main courses without alcohol. We never regretted it as we were terribly tired and we fully enjoyed the atmosphere and the view. We had lunch at island hopping tours and nice pizza for dinner at Trattoria( the best I've ever tried).Rounding up my review: it is affordable, clean and beautiful place. We would diffenetely stayed there again and we are happy to recommend this small hotel to our friends and family.

So so lovely, already planning to return!”
Angel Nido is a small, friendly attentive place to stay. With only four rooms, although two more are being built, it is quiet and beautiful. The staff are lovely and there is a free tricycle into El Nido centre. The hotel is only a ten min walk to town and it takes you past other bars and resorts on the way, so actually a really nice walk. The rooms are air con and cosy, with a good breakfast choice included. No beach but you don’t need one. The hotel looks out over El Nido bay and doesn’t get any prettier. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place with wonderful hospitality”
This was my first visit to El Nido and probably the only place I will stay if I return. Angel Nido is small, but what they are lacking in size they make up for in hospitality. My friends and I had a lovely four nights and couldn't have been more happy. The breakfast was filling (your basic "homestay" breakfast of eggs, fruit and coffee). The room was cleaned daily, and the views were priceless. Angel Nido does sit back off the beaten path which made it all the more lovely. When the tide is down you can easly walk to El Nido town. There isn't a beach, but neither is there one in town worth spending the day at - you are there to island hop or head to Nacpan Beach. El Nido and Angel Nido are both worth a visit - you may also want to eat at Angle Wish - best seafood and best prices in town!

The best place in El Nido”
I stayed here 3 nights on February 2017 at the Sea view cottage. I must say...I have never been in so familiar hotel! The owner Mateo is very kind and in hotel he has delicious meals from Italia, that was really good. He has so nice dog Elza, every dinner she was whit us because she knew we give her something. The best for her is a chicken:-) The staff...Lilian and two boys was very kind too. During 3 nights we love them including owner daughter Angelika. If I will come back to El Nido (I hope I will), I will not choose another hotel. This is the best! To center of EL nido is way (whitout lights) 15 minutes on foot or 3 minutes by hotel tricykle (cost 50pesos/1 way/ 2 persons). From El Nido we went to Coron and must get up early (4:30AM)....the hotel driver took us to the port in this early time....so services are better then good. I hope I will see everybody inclůuding Elza:) Mateo if you will read this article, can you send me recipe Carbonara to my email: jirka.skrabanek@email.cz? Thank you:-) Say Hi everybody in the hotel and caress Elza. We are looking forward to next visit your hotel:) Jirka a Eva

Amazing! Stay here!”
We stayed for 2 night's and it was the best way to experience El Nido. I had been to El Nido twice before and stayed in the city/near the bars, which was loud and dirty. This resort, however, was perfect. A short walk away from the loud streets and bars, extremely clean room with hot water, comfy bed, air con and fan. The grounds are beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were amazingly kind, funny, and helpful. The owner was on site with his family and it felt very welcoming. No other place to stay in El Nido, in my opinion.
