I enjoyed our stay in Angelina. Food was great!”
I'm glad I chose Angelina. To be honest, the "ocean view" is not enticing and the floors would creak so loudly I would awake from deep sleep when my husband would walk on it. Also, you can hear the entire conversation of the people in the next room. The bathroom will have a funny smell at times but this is because the water for shower/toilet/sink comes from a pump so it is hard water mixed with salt water. I think this is the case for all resorts on the island. Also there were a lot of flies on the island when we went. But all these can be easily overlooked because we had TV (most resorts do not), it had a good price, it was clean, room was huge and restaurant below had the best Italian! I could smell pizza cooking in the wood-fired oven wafting into our balcony! YUM! I just wish the people of Malapascua would take the time to clean their beach. If you don't like the beach in front (Angelina beach) because of all the boats parked there, just go up the steps towards Logon beach or Bounty Beach around the corner.

Fantastic Stay ”
I highly recommend the Caruzo Room - spacious, well-equipped, bright, cozy, comfortable with a lovely balcony facing the sea. There's room service every morning. Great food at the little Italian restaurant below - love the pizza and the mango shake. Breakfast set was small in portion, though (it would be nice to have larger portion with a bit more variety; eg. full breakfast set). Staff was friendly and attentive. Thanks to Ranjit who walked me to the Bounty Beach to look for a suitable boat leaving back to Maya. Few things to note: 1) Prepare to practice your negotiation skills with the boatmen between Maya and Malapascua Island (to & fro). The standard price is 80 pesos per person each way, but there was no enforcement. The weather was windy & rainy when I was there, a reason they used to increase the price. I paid 240 pesos from Maya-Malapascua, and 550 pesos from Malapascua-Maya. 2) The resort used to enjoy free access to a beautiful private beach behind it, however it now belongs to another resort. 3) Wifi was either very weak or faulty.

Exquisite food, fantastic room and friendly helpful staff”
Angelinas is a lovely small resort tucked away in a quiet cove 5 min walk from Bounty beach. The menu serves the best Italian food I've had in a long time, the prices are affordable and the room is huge, clean and very comfortable. Staff are very helpful and attentive. We would return in a heartbeat. There is now an ATM on the beachfront and although it was out of cash they allow you to use credit card to withdraw cash with a 10% charge. Well worth the long trip from Cebu city and Kalanggaman Island is breathtakingly beautiful. Angelinas resort is the icing on the cake.

Best stay during our vacation”
We stayed at 3 different hotels during our time on Malapascua island, Angelinas beach hotel was without a doubt the best stay we had. Beautiful rooms, nice view, good food such as the seafood pasta and pizza. Very welcoming staff. Would definitely stay here again!

would have stayed longer!”
we contacted them ahead and arranged airport pickup. seemed expensive but made life easy and was reasonably priced. room is over a very good and quiet italian restaurant. right on the beach nice view of the bay. the room was nicely decorated and spacious -yes with creaky floors but wasn't a big deal. staff were pleasant and spoke english well . we stayed on an extra few days until it was booked up and then moved to their neighbour hotel tepanee which was fine too, newer but didn't have as much character. they share access to a small, pretty private beach but you have to rent sunbeds if coming from Angelina. great opportunity to see thresher sharks!! diving with Little Mermaid. Great people all around. lovely place.

perfect place to stay in malapascua!”
i enjoyed the food at their restaurant downstairs first and foremost. this is exactly why we booked angelinas, because they have the best italian restaurant we've tried! just a few comments about the hotel: -the pina room does not have tv -the wooden floor makes loud noises when you walk in it -wifi doesnt reach the room -the water is a little salty but i think thats the way it is on the island -has heater and rainshower head -they dont provide toiletries so do bring your own supply -the caruso room is nicer than the pina, with tv -they do have towels available but has a smell to it so better bring your own as well -i love playing with their cute dogs -the private beach is awesome! -very near the area where you ride the boat going to maya, just a short walk -the owners are friendly -they accept credit cards

Peaceful and relaxing vacation”
We had a wonderful time at Angelinas'. The hotel and the Malapascua Island was both very peaceful and it is a good place for a relaxing vacation. The wifi, connection in the room was at some points really low, but it worked well in the restaurant.

Nice Design and food ”
We stayed in total 6 night in ANGELINA, Casuo and Pino room. there are 4 rooms in total, all with different design. Personally i think Casup design is more beautiful, the owner places hand crafts from all over the world. the restaurant is one of the best on this island. we ate pasta, pizza, grilled prawn and pork, salad, all worth to try. the hotel a few min walk from the bounty beach, but it is quiet and cozy. my only complaint is the room is not sound proof, and it makes loud noise when stepping on the floor. we can hear the neighbor talking clearly, and they walking around the room. overall it is a pleasant stay.

Best location on the island and very comfortable room”
Extra to what I said in the title the balcony was a great place for us to chill out at night with our drinks and tunes...when the tide was in late morning and night, having a swim out front was idyllic. The village is nearby and has everything you need including cheaper drinks and authentic filipino food at Jumbos eatery. When we treated ourselves to a feed at Angelinas , the pizza was excellent and the breakfast was great too. Only criticisms are; the WiFi was weak in the room and some of the staffs hospitality was laboured after initial check in (they should all follow Jinder's example as she was consistently excellent) ... but don't get me wrong, this was one the best and most charming hotel I have ever booked on Agoda, in the best part of the most amazing island I have been to in the Philippines

Nice clean room”
The hotel is clean and nice. For sure bang for the bucks! The location is on logon beach. Unfortunally thats nu beach for swimming. Its to shallow. Its unbelievable how much trash around that beach. Malapascua should really clean up the Island. But the hotell is clean and nice. There is like six small dogs living there. Really cut, we liked them. Recommend the hotel!

Amazing!”
Best value in Malapascua! The room was immaculate! All the workers went and above and beyond for us, very accomodating and always had a smile on. The pizza at the restaurant is delicious. They even brought it up to our room For us. Definitely recommend if you want a really nice suite on the island with a great location. Only down was water pressure, which seems to be normal wherever u stay in the Philippines.

Relaxing stay after Manila madness”
Getting there from Cebu Airport is a bit of a trek. I booked Airport pickup with the Hotel for 4000 peso. They use a van so it can work out very cheap. The place is right on the Beach, with a very nice little private Beach behind it. The restaurant does great Italian food. The rooms are clean and modern. The room had a Balcony with a great view of the Sea.

Great stay”
One of the best beach hotels I have ever stayed at. Room is amazing. Staff is very friendly. View is just magnificent Food will definitely blow your mind. I think they have the best pizza that I have ever tasted here in the Philippines. They also serve Gelato by the way. My first time to see a Gelato stand on a beach here in this country. Really a plus. Must try the Coconut Nutella. If you want to have a fun, relaxing and chill time, and have the best god damn tasting Italian food ever while you are lounging on the beach, then look no further.

Paradise island”
Great stay at the Angelina. Room is huge with desperate sitting room, large bedroom and big balcony overlooking the sea. Only downfall is no tv and the Internet wifi is down across the island due to the recent typhoon. So not much to do at night as it's pretty quiet. Fantastic Italian food at the restaurant.
