Loving the bungalow experience!”

We had a great time at Angel Lanta! We originally intended to only stay for 1 night but ended up extending for 3 nights! Your personal bungalow comes attached with a hammock and 2 bamboo chairs right outside to just chill and relax. The ensuite "outdoor" toilet was interesting - fret not, you have a roof over your head and the 360 wooden "walls" around it is perfectly safe! There was the occasional fly and beetle that would crawl through, but hey... that's what living among the trees gets you! The bed was comfortable and it comes attached with the mosquito net so you will be 99% protected from flies, coupled with the A/C on; you'll be a-okay! Suntanon was superbly helpful and she basically runs the travel desk where you can book all your dive/snorkel/boat trips along with renting a scooter and getting ferry tickets! We had such a great time at Angel Lanta! :)

ideal spot on the island ”

we've extended our stay at Angel Lanta Bungalows. located at the top of long beach it's a perfect place. bungalow itself was wonderful, comfortable, clean and quiet. the hostess was so friendly and helpful with organising extras for us. 10 min scooter to saladan pier, 30-45 mins to national park on southern tip of island. would definitely stay here again without a doubt! and if you visit go to restaurant towards the beach called 'Marina' food was best I've had on the island. thank you so much xx

Angel Lanta”

I loved my bungalow, it was spotlessly clean, and had a fabulous bathroom and if I showered at night with the light off I could watch the stars through the wooden slats. It also had a great balcony for relaxing on. The staff were very friendly and provided a lovely breakfast. For me the only downside was there is no sea view, and it is a long way from the busier Long Beach, and as a solo traveller I wanted to meet other travellers. I ended up moving to another resort and wished I hadn't as it was still too far from Long Beach and was nowhere near as nice. I'd recommend Angel Lanta if you're looking for peace a nd tranquility and don't mind being a few minutes walk away from the sea, and a 30 min walk from Long Beach

Exceptional”

I loved everything about the Angel Lanta! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. The location, although a little far from the core of town, was not far from any resturants, beaches or 7/11 to grab a quick toasty :) It felt like I was luxury camping in my little bungalo. Yes I had a few vistors in the form of geckos but they are harmless and keep the bugs away. I rented a scooter and it was hassle free and so much fun! I would definately reccomend this place!

We enjoy our stay at Angel Lanta, we like the bungalow style we feel comfortable and very relaxing in different atmosphere,the room is clean, big fridge, good wifi, strong shower..Over all excellent. The owner is so freindly very accomodating.

Perfect guesthouse on Koh Lanta”

Angel Bungalows is a simple, reasonably-priced guesthouse. The rooms are clean, beds come with mozzie nets, showers are hot and there is WiFi. It's set back from the road so there is little unwanted noise, but it's very close to all the restaurants and the 7-11 at the south end of Long Beach. The beach is just a short walk away, although you will have to walk a little way along it to get away from the rocks. Some rooms differ in quality so ask to see yours first. All have a porch with chairs, table and hammock. Ay, on the front desk, is one of the loveliest people in the world and nothing is too much trouble. We're going to miss her!

Nice place to relax”

We stayed for 11 days at the angel lanta bungalows. We had a bungalow with fan. The room was clean and the bathroom was also very clean. After three day you get new towels and lines. You can hear and feel the nature :). The breakfast is okay, you can also go to a local restaurant. In few (2-3) minutes you will reach the beach, but to the beach without stones you need a little bit more time.

Cosy and authentic place! ”

Had some nice days at Angel LantA. It’s surrounded with several nice restaurants and beaches. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple, 2 toast and 2 eggs (omelette, fried or cooked) with some jam and butter and a coffee or tea. The standard bungalow with fan is simple, but good for the price you pay. Keep in mind that it’s surrounded by a forest environment, lot’s of animals, insects and sounds in the morning ;)

Angel looked nice, placed at Lanta Marina”

We booked at Angel but were placed 100m down the road at the similarly owned Lanta Marina for the same price. Marina usually costs twice Angel, presumably for the absolute beach front location- as far as I can see the bungalows are identical. Nice fan bungalow, great outlook. Cons were the 200m walk over sharp rocks to a swimmable part of the beach and, probably most crucially, the night spots in close proximity. Doof doof at one place quietened down around 11, the other around 2am. Whilst the view was better at Marina id prefer to be at Angel set back a bit and probably quieter at night. Intetestingly, Angel is still listed as having 10 bungalows available- ie fully vacant.

Halfway between the road and the beach”

Good value for easy access to the beach, quiet pleasant setting, good quality huts, hot shower, average WiFi. The entrance and garden facing onto the stony lane, it's another 300m+ to the small beach, then over (walkable) rocks and a stream (dry at low tide, waist level water at high tide) before reaching Long Beach proper which is not completely covered at high tide; however, the soft sand at any time but low tide makes this a very hard walk. Comfortable bed, but unsealed cottage allows in mosquitoes and small animals, water pressure was fair to good, hammock on every balcony was excellent and well used. WiFi was average (slow, intermittent, sometimes out for hours) but breakfast at Mook provides their fibre WiFi as an option. Cellphone coverage was good (all along the beach) and data was consistently good. With very few huts right on the beach (despite their advertising), Lanta Marina Resort perhaps the best choice but far more expensive, Angel is a solid option.

Cosy quiet bungalows; lovely owner-manager”

Wonderful staff who go out of their way to help with excursions, transfers and other matters, attention to detail, quiet location at then end of Long Beach (5min walk to the beach), cute, cosy and clean bungalows with hammock facing a nice lawn, hot shower, very breezy so does not require AC. Would be even better if there were a small fridge and fruit as part of breakfast but overall great value and great service - very much recommended

Amazing value for money bungalows ”

Very basic bungalows but amazing value for money, close to long beach and main road, super friendly staff and reception, had problem with safe but they fix it immediately, breakfast could improve. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful place”

Great value bungalow. Staff were really kind. Room was with comfortable bed and pillows. Location was good. We really hope to come back and stay here again one day.

A cozy place to stay with very attentive manager”

I had a lovely stay at the place. Khun A, the manager is very friendly, considerate, and attentive. She would not hesitate to go out of her way to make sure the guests is comfortable and had everything they need. A place is well equipped with a fridge, an aircon, hot shower. The bungalow is spacious, easily fit 3 ppl. Just one downsize, the place is nearby a bar which hosts crazy party, some nights. Hence, it can be very noisy.
