A great hidden gem ”

The place is located perfectly in the quieter part of Ong Lang next to Mango Bay Resort. While the latter steals the show in most aspects (is also more $$$) Ancarine is no slouch. The property is beautifully located in a forest like setting yet offering great ocean views from almost every room. The best part of the property was it’s shower facilities located in the back (attached) to the room with some plant foliage. The setting couldn’t have been perfect. The service was 5 star especially from the front desk / reception. We didn’t try the food at the restaurant but went to Mango Bay for one evening, in my whole honest opinion, I would pass eating there. The village has so much to offer and Tree House was best bang for your buck. If we returned to Phu Quoc, without a doubt we will stay at Ancarin

Beautiful, quiet and friendly seaside resort”

I came to Ancarine to get some writing done. Ancarine did not disappoint. It is a beautiful, relaxing and quiet resort, where I could concentrate and work outside - even when the weather was hot, there was a pleasant sea breeze. The stretch of beach is has some rocks, but is mostly sandy. The garden is well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good, if a bit overpriced for Vietnamese standards. For more luxurious dining, the restaurant at the neighbouring resour (Mango Beach) is still better. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. For those who seek peace and quiet in a beautiful environment, I can highly recommend Ancarine Beach resort.

Lovely stay in Phu Quoc”

We were warmly welcomed at Ancarine, and everyone we interacted with during our 4-night stay there was lovely. We enjoyed our bungalow, with its lovely view and outdoor bathroom (although our knees did get wet on the toilet in the rain - but it's part of the fun!). The food was fine, but also nothing special - we ate there a couple of times for convenience, and then at Mango Bay next door for special meals. A bit of a walk to get to other options, but easy enough to get around. Highly recommend Phu Quoc Jeep Tours too - great way to explore. Lovely grounds, nice beach and pool - enjoy :)

A slice of paradise!”

I stayed here by myself for 4 days and 3 nights and I loved every single moment of it! This resort is situated on a nice secluded part of Ong Lang Beach, perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of HCMC. I booked the beach bungalow which meant I literally had the beach at my doorstep! The room itself was very nice, big and clean, and again having the beach right there was perfect!! The walk to the village where there are minimarts and local restaurants is only a short 15 min (cut through Mango Bay to avoid the steep driveway). This resort is perfect for travellers who want a relaxing break on a quiet beach to soak in the sun. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Beautiful escaping resort”

We spent just 1 day in the resort since we had been stayed other nights in the city centre but it turned out to be our best time in Phu Quoc. The resort locates quite far off the crowd that it would make any visit a beautiful escape. The staffs were very friendly from the beginning, they let us stay until 3PM in the check-out day as our flight was delayed. The beach was lovely, quiet and very clean. The room was spacious, the whole place blends well into the scenery of one jungle and one side beach. Everything was very worth the money. The only minus point is breakfast, they served limited choices and seems mostly choices were not good choice, we called 4 different dishes but both me and boyfriend agreed that we should finish the dish because we wanted to show appreciation to the lovely staff but not for the taste. It's a meh! Will come back for sure.

Paradise! ”

An authentic Phu Quoc resort literally in a beach paradise! Being a family holiday, the extensive beach frontage, access, location, quiet waves, shade and cleanliness were a standout. The friendly, attentive staff and resort cleanliness were spot on. The only negative would be the restaurant menu choice - we’d love more amazing Vietnamese options in lieu of catering for the westerners, for that total Phu Quoc Vietnam experience!

Amazing hotel, extraordinary stay”

Ancarine beaxh Resort is one of the best hotels I have stayed. The staff is so super friendly and also the manager of the hotel. We had a deluxe room with sea view and the room was so beautiful and very clean. The hotel is directly at the beach and the beach is so great. Further, the breakfast is perfect! You can chose your omelette or scrambled egg as it will be directly cooked. There is a huge choice of fresh fruits also. We stayed for dinner also at the hotel and the food is very good. We can recommend to try the seafood hot pot. So delicious! Further, the hotel has some dogs which are so cute and it makes your stay unforgettable as it is all very nature based and animal friendly. Just perfect for people (us included) who likes nature and animals :) To sum it up, the hotel is soooo great and you will not regret it if you book it, actually it’s better than described. We had an unforgettable stay there and will come definitely again!

Beautiful oasis of peace”

Ancarine clearly strive to keep their small resort peaceful, away from the crowds - the manager in fact told me they turn down big group bookings. What we found was a very peaceful strip of beach (small) but lovely for swimming, with palm trees and sun beds in the shade. The eating area is on the beach which makes a lovely experience. Rooms large and clean. Surprinsingly no bugs at all despite tropical location! Staff exceptionally nice. If you want some beautiful peace and quiet on an otherwise busy island, this is the place to be. Well done guys.

5 STAR Stay !”

We had an excellent holiday , due to Coronavirus we had to extend and amend our bookings on at least 4 occasions without exception the staff were helpful ,friendly and caring . In fact we were the last to leave before the hotel shut for lockdown. We were made to feel valued guests, you cannot ask for more. Well done Ancarine beach resort , we hope to return one day

Great Place to relax”

The Ancarine was very a Special Stay for us. After 2 Weeks travelling through Vietnam we Need a Space to relax. This Place was Perfect for it. Private Beach with enough Place for everyone. Also the Beach and the sea „entrance“ was very easy because it‘s Not so deep Directly. The staff was very Great. The are very Attentive and Recognize your room Number very fast ! Very Great stuff!!! Also our bungalow was great with a full view to the sea 😍 Breakfast was also very great. Enough from everything. All in all a very great place !! Thank you for everything Ancarine ♥️

Im very satisfied”

Very friendly staff, beautiful beach with crystal water, green resort with a lot of trees. My children like pool very much. Breakfast is quite good. On the last day, my older girl was sick, resort allowed us to stay at room until we went to airport at 3pm. I want to send best thanks to Ancarine rs.

Exceptional”

I love staying in ancarine , as their staff have high quality services , and the rooms are clean . But the bed we sleep upstairs is hot untill the air conditioner getting it cooler at midnight. My kids love the beach very much as it's very clean here . I can stay in here whole day just sitting on the sand with my kids . They also got swimming pool , gym and so on . It is next to the mango bay . You can go and have your meal there as it is a famous restaurant in there , getting a good sea view . If you want to go out to have you meal , you can rent a motorbike to go outside , the restaurant outside is cheaper and also delicious , recommended SAKURA KIEM restaurant . They can also offer the airport pick up if you reserve for more than 2 night . We just 2 night ,so we don't have it . But our flight depart in the evening , they offer us late check-out for free , and call the taxi for us . That's very impressive .

Fantastic place with great service!”

We planned to stay for 3 nights, but stayed for 11! The best vacation! Great bungalow with view over pool and sea. Fantastic! Comfort beds, Good cleaning, friendly staff who gives the best service 24/7! Helped us to the doctor, rented motorbikes, gave great suggestions what to do, eat and see, not only "tourist traps". Great beach, Good Breakfast, superfriendly staff, massage by the ocean. Outdoor gym. Our kids loved it and so did We. Best place in Phu Quoc!!! Should be a 4 star!

Friendly staff and great location”

Very friendly staff!! Excellent location if you're looking for a relaxed time on the beach with great comfort and still not "too quiet". We enjoyed this part of Phu Quoc much more than Long Beach and DD-town. A bunch of small restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Rooms were OK though they smelled somewhat mouldy (bathroom especially). Not so comfortable beds. Breakfast was typical for Vietnamese hotels. Nice setting by the beach. Would recommend this hotel!

Relaxing stay in Beachfront Bungalow ”

We had a very relaxing stay at Ancarine for the last leg of our trip. Bungalow was well equipped with big bed, good air con, great views from balcony & an outside bathroom. Mosquitoes were a real problem here so had to keep bathroom door closed at all times. A net around the bed would have been an added bonus. Location about 10 minutes walk to Ong Lang Village. The village itself was nice with lots of local restaurants and a Mini Mart.

We loved this little hotel”

I loved this little hotel We booked a seaside villa, but we were a big group around 40 ppl mainly expat families, all of them loved the hotel The beach is wonderful, did some snorkeling and some kayak Staff were wonderful, very serviable and welcoming Food is good but can be further improved. However, I give a 5* and planning to return Great value for place Well done Ancarine Team!

Long stay reflections”

Not a bad wee resort. Good beach and pool. Resort typical of Phu Quoc... a little tired in places, a bit basic, no hot showers and food never changing and a little disappointing. Staff did their best and some very friendly but limited English and we no Vietnamese so always a barrier. Tourists mostly French and Russian. Very quiet.....no theme nights and the nearby tourist strip quiet too and this was peak season. Tropics so everything moves slowly. Also Phu Quoc no longer pristine as apparently it once was, with rubbish dumped everywhere. Conservation and rubbish management is still a foreign concept to many here. Hopefully it is changing. Beaches apart from resorts such as these were covered in rubbish. Ancarine are pro-active in keeping their beach clean and the water is clean too.Gym - don’t bother as limited equipment and not maintained. Use the pool and the sea...both excellent. Free kayaks great... free bikes but bit tatty. Still one of the better places to do nothing.

Beautiful beach”

Pros- great beach, lovely location although a bit cut off, beautifully kept resort, good tv channels. You can really relax and unwind here. Cons- room is ok but a bit bland. Dated furniture and not much character but big. Restaurant serves very average food. Mango bay next door is in a different class as far as food, branding and general customer service. The beach is nicer though at ancarine.

Relaxing stay and lovely staff”

This resort is great value for money with one of the best private beaches on the island. The infinity pool had a great view of the beach and the food and drinks were good and well priced. We stayed in a villa which was right next to the beach so there was a great view from the villa. The staff were lovely and super helpful. Would definitely go again.
