Good stay in AM TAM 3 hotel!!”

I stay in Dorm of Am Tam 3 hotel. The room is spacious, and we had an enjoyable stay in this hotel. The best thing is, this hotel is not facing the main road, it is located in a small street behind the main road. Thus, you can avoid the super noisy HCMC street. The toilet is not as perfect as what i expected. But overall, this hotel is value for the money I pay!

Great location with friendly staff”

The location of hotel is good and convenient. Besides that, there got a lot of restaurants and travel agencies near by the hotel. The size of room is small for us but is okay and enough. The only disadvantage of this hotel is we stayed there for 4 days 3 nights but the staff never do room cleaning, so is a bit dirty, but i think you might can request for the staff to do the cleaning.

So far I arrived there with my wife..it was a good experince , where the staff were very attentive.. they provide us all the information to explore ho chin minh..really thank for their help..eventhough the room was small..but what u expect its so cheap n we were not frequent sleeper at room..we r traveller n shoppers.. 10 minutes walking to ben thanh market..n easy access to bus station..

Good to stay”

I've been stayed here just only 2 nights. Room is clean and has aircon,hot shower,bathtub,balcony. All staffs are very kind. They took care me anytime. Hope coming back here next time too and I can recommend this hotel for tourists or backpackers. Good people here,thanks everyone;)

Lovely hotel & friendly service”

The staff is really friendly. The hotel offered free breakfast but since foods around the area are inexpensive, we didn't eat at the hotel. $2 taxi or less to Ben Thanh market. Saigon Square, Vincom & Parkson Plaza are also close

it's really worthed to pay for solo travel who find livig place for short time”

Price is cheap, location is easy to find, room is clean but they need to clear up the reseptionist area, staff is very friendly even they cant speak english as excellent, and facilities is complete.

More than we expected”

It was worthwhile, the rooms are clean and the hotel stuffs are so friendly. People there are so warm that makes me wanna stay longer in HCMC.

Not for ladies”

I felt being cheated as the name same as An Tam Hotel. the different is only they put An Tam 3. being 1st time I didn't know there is two different name with almost similar name. Stayed for 4 days, only once cleaner came.

For the adventurous...”

Don't be intimidated by the looks of this hotel. It may be located within the dark alleys of Saigon but it has the basic functions every traveler needs.. A nice tub w/ hot and cold running water, clean sheets and a television, not that you need one.. Lots of restos and cheap eats to find in this place. Although, a little far from the shopping places like saigon square and behn than market but a taxi ride wouldn't hurt since it only costs less than $ 1. Overall, this hotel may not be lavish and luxurious but it is very accessible to travel shops who would like to go on a tour to mekong or cu chi.. A backpackers haven!

The place is accessible to transportation. The room and bathroom is ok. The receptionists are very accommodating, approachable, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is free but it should be variety. Dining table must be presentable, clean and orderly.

Close to bus drop off and clean rooms”

Warning: the English here is by no means stellar yet the managers especially plow through things they don't really understand. If requesting bust tickets or anything concrete and important, be aware that an acquiescence isn't always meant, as they tend to agree to things without understanding what you're asking them to do. Best to do it in person with lots of charades.

great central location”

We arrived late at like 8pm and the receptionist was very friendly. They could tell we were tired and so we didn't have to fill out any paperwork or give them any documents, we were lead straight to our room. The room was fine no remarkable comments positive or negative. The bathroom shower head however had a leak and the water shot out of the faucet head in the direction of the nearest electrical socket. So we had to cover the leak with our hand as to not create problems. The staff were very friendly and gave us a map of the area and pointed out a few sites to see. The location was great as we could walk to most of the attractions. The breakfast was bread, peanut butter, and egg. On the last day they gave us a plate of fruit and jam as well which made my boyfriend happy. They also had a large container with water so you could fill up your personal water bottle before heading out on the town.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size with lots of natural light. Shampoo, combs, toothbrushes provided. I'll certainly stay here again.
