Pretty good ”
My friend and me stayed in different type of room in Amarin Resort for one night. Prons: 1. It's really peaceful and natural and suitable for those who wants a solitary environment. 2. Rooms are clean and well designed. Equipped with slippers, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, but no tooth brush and paste.. The bed is very comfy and soft. 3. Staff is quick in response and helpful especially the young man in the evening. There are some restaurants nearby the river closed to here. Cons: 1. It's a bit far from the centre of the city. If you book the taxi from the reception from the resort to the night bizzar, you will be charged for 100 baht. It's hard to call a taxi here by yourself ( uber and grab are not very popular here), but if you find a taxi on the street, the price is 50 baht(from the night market back to the resort). Never take a tuktuk, cos it's really expensive. 2. When I checked in, I asked the reception if there is any difference between superior room and deluxe room. I was told that the answer is no.. But it was proved that there was much diff between them. The former one is more well-designed I think but the latter one is a single villa. Not much difference in price, but it's totally different. So the staff in day is not very professional. 3. Motors and bikes can be rent for free but they are not in a good condition. 4. Not equipped with a swimming pool.. It would be better if have one. 5. The breakfast is just ordinary as I expected more with the rate. Sausages and hams are not in good quality. Not too many choices of fruit, which is bad compared to many other hotels in Thai. There are flys and mosquitos on bananas and watermelon, staff changed a new set after my inquiry though. So generally I assume that the resort was value for the money but still can be improved. Btw, there are lots of hotels and resorts alongside the no.1 highway. So still lots of other choices .

Quiet and clean place in Chiang Rai”
Amarin Resort is one of my favorite places to stay in Chiang Rai because it's quiet, relaxing, and the room is always extremely clean and organized. There's not much to do at the resort - there's no view or anything - but it's a nice place to stay. The location is not right in Chiang Rai center, but across the highway, which for me was a benefit.

Amarin Resort - value for money!”
We were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel room very clean and spacious. The surrounding grounds were very nice and serene.....it gave us a very calm and peaceful feeling. The breakfast was also tasty and the spread was sufficiently wide. Staff were friendly and helpful. My family and I had a very pleasant experience in Amarin Resort and we will definately choose it again if we are in Chiang Rai again.

Exceptional”
Amarin Resort was like an oasis of peacefulness from the hustle & bustle of Chiang Rai. The Manager Ton & his staff were always helpful & assisted us many times during our 5 day stay here arranging taxis, printing tickets or recommending tours Rooms in Block C were very nice, clean & spacious. Pool was good & breakfasts more than filling. Only critism would be the hard beds, but some people like these?

Relaxing and quiet location”
We really enjoyed our stay in Chiang Rai and the Amarin Resort served us well. Pretty garden ,cute rooms, shabby chic ( in a good way !) comfortable extra bed for our 7 yr old , short taxi journey to town. Recommend

Nice small hotel with charactor”
this a nice small hotel near the chiang rai city 1-2 kms and conveniently close to the airport, about 3 kms, so you will need a car/motorcycle to go to city. the hotel is peaceful with courtyard in front of each rooms. each room itself is a individual small building next to each other separated by a small garden. my deluxe room has nice decoration in white with wall paper in slightly grey blue.it is about 30 m2 with separate big bath room 6 m2. hot shower was great. breakfast was reasonably good, included. staffs were efficient and friendly.

Small is beautiful ”
Amarin resort is a nice , small and a quiet place to stay. It is located in a green area surrounded by trees and flowers. The room is lovely and in white color style which gives you an impression of cleaness. Breakfast is like a home made style which makes you feel eating at home. Staff are caring and have service mind. Staying there is not like at a big hotel. The atmosphere is friendly and makes you feel peaceful. In overall, it's worth to drop by again and again when you go north.

Lovely oasis”
Best nite's sleep since we arrived in Thailand! We thoroughly enjoyed our spacious bungalow, attentive staff and floral grounds. We rented a motor bike one day and explored Chiang Rai. Highly recommend the Flower Expo and the Hill Tribe Museum! Hotel breakfast was plentiful with a variety of Asian items, fresh fruit, with limited western -- toast, cereal, eggs, ham & chic sausage. Manager was helpful and informative but did not push any tour package deals and was happy we made our own arrangements to meet our needs! Definitely check this place out :)

Modern units with modern furnishings”
This resort is one I would definately recommend to anyone looking for a resort in Chiang Rai a little out of town but close enought to walk if necessary.Words that come to mind include- clean, modern, individual units featuring individual styles and furnishings.Great breakfast selection, friendly and courteous staff.Lots of car parking space set around a wonderful garden. 4 Restaurants are within walking distance of the resort for night time use.

Clean Room, Clean Hotel, Big Room”
It's been a real pleasure. I enjoyed my stay very much. It's beyond my expectations for what I've paid. The hotel location is great, close to many nice restaurants. Very clean garden and hotel surroundings and clean room. It looks like, the hotel has been under renovation recently, so everything looks new and in good condition. Big hotel room with lots of space. Breakfast is good. Nothing fancy but hotel offers good selections and enough. The staffs are friendly and polite. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to any friends or family to stay there on their next visit to Chiang Rai.

Lovely peaceful setting and wonderful staff! We will return.”
We stayed for one week and plan to return again and again. The location is far enough away to offer a quiet and peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They have bikes and scooters available or will call a taxi if you wish to head to central area--only a 5 minute taxi. Within waking distance are several incredible restaurants along the riverfront. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood to find a good meal, or just sitting in the garden watching the birds. The free breakfast was plentiful with both Thai and Western options, juice, espresso, and fresh fruit as well. The staff was very helpful, always friendly and happy to answer our many questions. We will return when we are in Chiang Rai next.

Quiet place near the river.”
Good facilities, swimming pool, nice landscaping, guarded and shaded parking. Attentive staff. Large room (villa) with refrigerator, quiet aircon, excellent bed and linens, drinking water in glass sealed bottles. Excellent breakfast, fruit, wheat bread, brewed coffee and made-to-order breakfast. Upon being aware that we do not like to eat pork, the staff made sure that we had chicken dishes available for breakfast. Walking distance to river with several good restaurants. But far from Chiang Rai center if you do not have transportation.

Good interior design hotel in Chiangrai town”
The hotel is located in Chiangrai town where is near the river. I stayed in villa. The interior was fantastic with a very spacious room size. The services were great. I ordered for vegetarian food and they gave me 2 dishes for breakfast. It was recommended if you were looking for the value for money resort, Amarin is a shortlist for sure. There were dedicated parking. The hotel is suitable for group of friends, family or even lovemate.

A small peaceful resort!”
I'm satisfy in my stay at Amarin Resort. There is nothing to complain about this place. It takes 10-15 min to the airport, to the night market and the best Spa place. The reception arranged the taxi and it costs reasonable price, not expensive at all.

Really nice rooms, great value for money”
We stayed one night in Chiang Rai. The hotel is very nice and we had spacious rooms with our booking. We were on big bikes so location was not an issue, however this hotel is outside the main city so transportation is recommended.

Nice hotel with good service”
The hotel is situated in the good location of Chiangrai city, not far from city center and access to the major highway. The room is spacious and clean with excellent service from hotel staff. They also provided ample space of car park only a few steps from the room. It is best suited for the guest with own transportation even the hotel can assist by calling taxi and also it is only 10 minutes walk to the major road. Good restaurants are in the neighborhood by the riverside (Chinese and local northern food). Wifi internet (in room) is of good quality.

Very nice rooms, clean, pool area also nice ... breakfast area had plenty of food variety... several wifi channels and they were relativity fast ... easy walking to restaurants on river front ... within 15 minutes of Chiang Rai International Airport quick drive.

Large Room”
This was our second time at the Amarin and we enjoyed our stay once again. The hotel is in a quiet location which is what we prefer. It is only two blocks from the Kok river where there are some excellent restaurants and coffee shops. When the water wasn't warm in our shower they fixed the problem immediately. The breakfast buffet was not as good as during our previous visit, because the eggs were on a steam table. Last year, eggs were made to order, and the rest of breakfast was buffet.
