Room was very clean and well equipped with the usual items and balcony...TV, Fridge, Bottled Water, Coffee/Tea, Hot water, Very comfortable large bed and Towels.The hostel shared bathroom was very clean with hot shower and toilet Recieved a complimentary plate of fresh fruit to the room and a large breakfast next morning. Site has secure parking if driving here or they will transfer to and from airport for free with a great restaurant on site also. The people at Amaretto are very friendly and always courteous. I would recomend this place for anyone requiring an overnight stay before boarding your flight or driving north to Hua Hin or Bangkok. Excellent value and service.

convenient for airport stay”
It is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you need to stay close to the airport for a night and don't mind a very basic room with shared bathroom, this is a good option. There are a number of other places next door to Amaretto, that look almost the same, but the owner and the staff here are very helpful and accommodating, and the room and bathroom are kept very CLEAN, which was a big plus. I've stayed here with my husband couple of times and it was very clean and the staff were very helpful both times, which is not always the case with random Thai accommodations. The room rate included breakfast and they have a small kitchen/restaurant facility on ground level where you can order some food (just note that it's not like a full restaurant, so the menu is very limited). They also offer transfer to and from the airport (only a couple minutes by car). I would recommend it as a good option for when you need to be very close to the surat thani airport.

Great place for night near hotel”
Great location, as it is literally at the end of the airport street. You could walk there in about 10 minutes, however they offer a ride! And since I came in late and there were no food places open in the airport or on the road, they took me to 7/11 before dropping me off at hostel. I was given a bottle of water at arrival too. Coffee/tea free, no breakfast. One bathroom on the floor, which was clean and full of amenities (soap, shampoo, toothpaste). The room AC worked decent but took awhile to cool down as it is off during the day. Towel and blanket given. Cons: There were only 4 outlets in the room (good thing I was the only one staying there) but this could be a problem if all 10 beds full. There were no individual lights at beds (again, not a problem this time). Also, the bed was rock hard and didn't sleep well. But for the price and only one night with a ride back and forth to the airport, it was ok. Host was very sweet and in constant contact before and during the stay!

Great launching pad”
This hostel is very close to the Surat Thani airport and, therefore, is perfect for a traveler that wants/intends to get to the islands. The hosts are very nice - picking you up and bringing you to the airport and making breakfast in the morning. The only con was that the bed was on the hard side. Overall, a great hostel and plenty of positives.

Perfect place to spend the night! Staff is so caring and you feel right at home. I had an amazing experience here because the owner offered to wait for me at Surat Thani airport (she also owns a shop here) and drive me to the hostel and even drove me back to the airport the next morning. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you have a nice and comfortable experience!

A secreat place to discover!”
Just a wonderful place to stay overnight before your flight. They pick you up at the airport for free as well will bring you to the Airport. The driver is very friendly! The dormitory is clean and just great for a night. Suphitta Sangsing, the sister of the owner is looking very well after the place and put a lot of effort that you will feel well! She also cooks for you. In the morning you get a simple but nutritious breakfast that is included in the price. Coffee is free too. All in all a place I can really recomand and where I will go back next time!

Pro: heiße Dusche, sauberes Zimmer, sauberes Bett, sauberes Bad, guter Polster, gratis Shuttle Service zu jeder Zeit, gratis Flasche Wasser, freundliches Personal, man könnte ein Rad ausborgen um zum 7/11 zu fahren, Personal hat sich vorher bei mir gemeldet um einen Treffpunkt zu vereinbaren Con: steinhartes Bett, Personal konnte so gut wie kein Englisch Wenn man das Hotel nur braucht um 1 mal zu übernachten um dann weiterzureisen, ist es perfekt

Great place to stay near the airport ”
Stayed here for just one night before we had an early flight the next day and the staff here made our stay very comfortable. Free pickup from the airport was great, the check in was nice and easy. We had food in the small dining area as you walk in and it was nice. Room was basic but nice and clean. Overall really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Great for a night or two before or after traveling. Thanks!

Our hosts could not have been more kind and welcoming. She really made us feel like a welcomed guest/family. Comfortable private room. A/C and Wifi worked very well. The nearby restaurant that is owned by the host's auntie is some of the best Thai food we had during our month of travel. Highly recommend! Only 2 mins from airport as well :) Can't beat it.

The place it's so easy if you need to get the plane the next day morning. The staff and the owner give you all the facilities! including transport to the airport!! They're so kind and helpful. The beds are good, also the toilet. Good place!

Soggiorno all'Amaretto Hostel”
La mia ragazza ed io abbiamo soggiornato in questo ostello per une notte prima di prendere il volo Surat Thani - Bangkok la mattina dopo. Come ultimo soggiorno della nostra vacanza di due settimane questo hotel era proprio quello che cercavamo, ci siamo sentiti a casa. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo ma ciò che abbiamo più apprezzato è la compagnia della ragazza della réception e di sua figlia con la quale abbiamo giocato tutta la sera! Saluti all'Amaretto Hostel !!
