The location is really beachfront. The Aloha beachfront is clean. The rooms are just right for the price. The food is great too. But most of all, the staff are all respectful and attentive to the needs of their customers. Happy 😍 me

This hidden gem is a backpacker's dream. Great value for what you are paying. Literally a 2-minute stroll to the best Oslob whale shark watching tour. Tell them you are there to see the whale sharks and they will take care of you personally. Economy rooms have a bed, toilet, and shower -- the basic things you need to sleep, poop, and shower off after a dip in the ocean. Don't expect a 5star hotel, but this place is way off the grid. Breakfast was ready for me after I returned from whale shark swimming. I couldn't ask for anything more from a place that's so far from a major city.

The big house with the green area of the garden for sleeping overnight and see the bright of the stars. Moreover, the very close of 5 minutes walks to the whale shark counter and the very helpful of the customer service and have the nice smart woman boss. Furthermore, the hotel staff will arrange as early as the swim with the whale shark if you buy the ticket in the Hotel. Due to the unstable of the low-pressure water supply for the cold water shower and suddenly electricity power off from the area of Town, you will have a bad feeling of the trip.

We were ignored at check-in, And waited 20 minutes before they helped us. We were ignored the whole time while trying to get breakfast, and finally gave up and ate elsewhere. Terrible terrible terrible service.

The only good about this resort is its proximity to the whale sharks...but they charge more for their very basic rooms...Cant get a decent sleep because of the noise from the roads which is a National highway directly beside the rooms

Good place to stay for a whale shark tour in the morning. Oddly, I was put in the 6 bed dorm with the owners relatives (including children) in the other 5 beds - not professional. Charged extortionate prices for GoPro rental and ten times the ferry to Bohol price.

Close to perfect”
Pros: Location is a 5 only 5 minutes walk away to where you can go whaleshark watching. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Towels and sheets smell really good. They keep the rooms few so it's not very crowded even when it's fully booked. Beachfront is also clean. Cons: TV is not working in both of the 2 rooms we booked. The designated area for grilling is close so septic tank which has an opening. Not safe just in case the fire catches the gas from the septic tank. Just a suggestion, perhaps you can move your grilling area somewhere safer and far from the septic tank. The microphone for videoke is only 1 and it can electrocute if you touch it. We had to use the wire to adjust the mic because we cant touch it. San mig apple is priced at 70 which is lile x2 the price from malls. Though prices are expected to be a bit higher, 70php is too much. Overall: The experience was great. I would still recommend this mainly because of the cleanliness of the place and the privacy you can get.

1 Day 1 Night in Oslob ”
It was a short trip to Oslob just to watch the whale shark. Stay in Aloha was okay. . Place is nice, just beside the whale shark. You can see the whale shark swimming a couple of meters away from the shore. About the the Aloha Room was small enough for 2. Room has mosquito Aircon was nice and cold. Staff was nice. Breakfast was okay.

Exceptional”
Family was very helpful to helping me book things. ConvenrConveniently ntialy really close to the whale sharks. They walk you (you can even rent their GoPro) and walk back. They help you also get motorbike transfers and other boat transportation. Only downside was Wi-Fi only worked in main lobby area. Dorm room only had fans but it was good enough for me.

Staff friendly, 3 min walk to whale sharks, loved the garden setting and the ability to sit down and relax away from the rush of the town - take in the sound of the waves lapping on the shore avoid the budget double its very tiny, pay a little more and get the bigger room you will be glad you did

the staff was extremely friendly and went out of thier way to make us feel welcome. there is a beautiful private beach where you can swim and dine and it is kept very clean. if you want to swim with the whale sharks this is the perfect place to stay as docking is literally next door. we loved our stay here!
