Stylist and affordable ”
It was located in Brickfields whereby u can walk down to the streets to look for Indian food and the greatest part it's the hotel linked to Bangsar LRT Station so u can go anywhere. They didn't served breakfast in buffet line but they servedala carte in botanica & co restaurant and I love it because it generous portion. You need to chg 2x lift in order to reach your room. First is the parking lift to lobby > Lobby to reception at 41st flr > Recep to rooms lift (3 lifts located differently). And parking charges is per entry flat RM5 validate at reception before leaving the parking. Love at the first sight on their rooms, it was stylist interior, warm lights, big windows so it's bright with a side long sofa. Like the toilet too haha. They have a hair dryer, toothbrush set, cotton pad, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner and bath gel. And their bed is super comfortable. Just a bit confused with their light switches bcoz too many. Need some improvement on their TV programmes. Very limited Astro Channels and it is always in bad line, if you switch to net TV whereby it is video downloaded from Internet or YouTube whereby not interesting at all if only you are fans of some travel bloggers or Tasty. Their rooms either facing Brickfields or Bangsar and KL Sentral for Junior Suite Rooms. The pool is very insta worthy unfortunately not a good time for us because they have event going on. A great thumbs up to Anson and Adam who gave us a warm welcome and excellent service. On behalf of my friend thanks for the surprise on her bday. Overall, it's worth coming back again and again because of affordability, comfortable and clean room, 5stars service and the pool. Also the meals from botanica & co (breakfast and in room dining). Kudos Alila Bangsar!

Will Definitely Come Back!”
The hotel is just next to Bangsar Train Station so it is convenient to go around the city. We got a room in level 40; just at the level where the swimming pool is. So we did not bother to take the lift to go from lobby to our room. We just took the stair. Our room was also right in front of the snack bar (snacks, coffee, tea, water) which is very great so you do not have to worry about buying bottled water. The room is big, clean and we love the design. In fact we chose this hotel because we are interested in the design of the room, hotel, lobby & facilities in general. But there are 3 downsides. 1st is we can hear the sound of people pulling their luggage in the middle of the night. The 2nd is we feel that the bathrobe has been left inside the wardrobe for quite sometimes so it smells like the wood of the wardrobe which is not really pleasant. The last one, we got room 4020. The auto-light in the wardrobe of this room was always on because the wardrobe doors cannot be closed properly.

Awesome location & aesthetic!”
I love how Alila was linked to Bangsar LRT station via a bridge. The location was easy to go in and out of city centre and everywhere else. Traffic was not so bad to reach the hotel even during peak hours. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The mattress was nice and supplies were of good quality. One complaint was that it was a bit tedious to get to your room especially if you are parking there as you have to take a different lift to the ground floor which you will need to take another lift to go to the Lobby (Level 41) and which you will take another lift to go to your room (floors 35-39). Parking fee was RM5 per day if u claim from hotel but for that hassle, should be RM0 😂 but no complaints on the parking! Just the walking 🥹 there is a designated smoking area at the lobby which was great but also allowed a cockroach to come into the lobby area 😵💫😵💫 Other than that, awesome place and staff was rly kind!

Resort like hotel in the city”
Alila is a very chic hotel with resort vibes located in Bangsar. The rooms are very nice with comfortable bed and work desk in a small living area. You can have privacy when it comes to the bathroom, unlike the fully or half transparent bathrooms in some hotels. The hotel takes up 35th floor to 41st floor which makes the rooms undisturbed from the traffic below. Within the hotel there’s a beautiful pool, a French restaurant called Entier and a café at the ground floor called Botanica and Co. The hotel is easily accessed by car and train. Just get off at Bangsar LRT and walk to the connecting bridge to go to the hotel. Overall, one of the more modern hotels in the city that’s good in value.

Memorable anniversary weekend”
My wife and I spent the weekend here recently in celebration of our fifth wedding anniversary...and where do I begin, the hotel really made us feel like special guests from the get go. Firstly, it was a pleasant surprise to be upgraded to a Premier Room during check-in! We literally spent all of five minutes taking in the beauty of the room and its facilities, when there comes a knock on the door... and whaddya know, a hotel attendant is standing outside with a complimentary lemon meringue pie. I'm a sucker for these little extra gestures (and so is the wife, fyi), so we were truly grateful to Alila for their part in getting our anniversary off to a great start. The room itself was very spacious and comfy, and offered a nice view of the KL skyline (even though our unit was not on the side facing KLCC). The room also came with complimentary breakfast at Botanica + Co on the ground floor, which was a bonus. All in all, we had a truly memorable stay and would love to stay here again!

Birthday Surprise Staycation”
We are a family of 4 (with 6yo & 1yo). Surprised my husband and daughter a staycation for their birthdays during the weekend. I love everything about Alila, from the environment, interior, comfy-ness and staff. So prior to booking, I've inform them the occasion of my stay- Husband & daughter's birthday, and when we entered the room, they kindly scattered origami hearts and a Birthday note on the bed- which is a PLUS! Also, they gave a complimentary cake for us too! Their King size bed mattress and sofa bed are so comfy! I wonder what brand of mattress they use because I love it so much! As for their breakfast selection, i find it interesting and taste pretty good too. They gave you a menu, where you can select from 5 selections if i'm not mistaken (International, Malay, Oriental, Indian, Vegetarian) and also a buffet station that are free flow. There are a few cons in my opinion- You can validate your parking ticket (RM5/ entry) & aircond too cold. Definitely recommended

Peaceful short getaway”
The room was immaculate with bed and pillows that felt like clouds but at the same time good for the spine. My room had a view facing Brickfields. It so happened that I stayed during Deepavali and there were fireworks as entertainment. The hotel’s cafe serves great food although I wish the breakfast was a buffet. However it is understandable why it isn’t during this pandemic, but I was hoping for a myriad of selections. The pool was serene and the gym was clean. Overall, it’s a superb stay.

Great place to stay at”
Have been to Alila for several times and love it every time. Just a moment of unpleasant moment which occurred at the swimming pool female changing room. I was in the changing room with the daughter and I was helping her change when suddenly we saw a male employee inside the changing room. Staff should have put a sign outside if they are cleaning the changing room. Things would have become very unpleasant if he saw us changing. Please look into this matter. Other than that, everything else was great.

Hotel is beautiful, location is strategic, room is GORGEOUS. Love the smell the moment you enter the lobby. Friendly staff. Love the snacks and drinks the hotel provide at the entrance to the hall way. Pool is nice with a killer view. Gym is very basic. However I do find the number of elevators you have to go through to get to your room a tad annoying. Also considering the rate of the room you’re paying, it’s quite surprising you still have to pay for hotel parking. Patrons are charged RM5 PER ENTRY to the hotel parking (vs RM5/hr for non patrons as informed by the counter staff). Also the room was extremely hot at one point due to air cooling system malfunctioned; hope this is not a frequent thing.

Alila is situated just one stop away from KL sentral which gives you the proximity to the hustle and bustle of the city but just distant enough to give you peace and quiet. I absolutely loved the service provided at Alila - the staff take very good care of your needs and give you undivided attention. Superb hotel ”
So lovely and great first impression of hotel. The staff were just lovely and the food was amazing I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Every level served unlimited snacks ,coffee, Tea , milk, pandan Water and So on. Hotel atmosphere really Felt comfortable , clean and room is superb Spaces.

Unexpected resort ambience in the city”
Lovely hotel design. I appreciate the carful selection of wooden finished and natural surfaces of the furniture. To me the Scandinavian/ Japanese aesthetic is apt for this resort like hotel right smack in the heart of Brickfields. The view was amazing, the cleanliness exceptional. One minor cons though- the provided breakfast can improve im terms of selection and options. Otherwise everything is perfect!

The most beautiful hotel I’ve ever seen!! The design is amazing and different from other hotels. I loved the way the staff gave us a very warm welcome. Making me feel right at home. A form of both professionalism and kindness. Edmund and Anukaa - who were the staff who we met during check-in - are the most professional young customer service members that the world needs more of. Perfect staycation spot! ”
I mostly just have good things to say about this space! Love the industrial chic interior, discreet layout, attentive staff and breakfast at Entier. Location is also great for getting around as its connected by a covered walkway to the LRT Bangsar station. The only downside is that Alila lobby is on the 41st floor, so getting up and down might take some time. Also if you're looking for a place with a bathtub and spa, you might wanna look somewhere else. All super for me otherwise - will definitely stay again!

The best hotel in KL, hands down!”
Fell in love with the minimal design of the place when I saw the photos online and decided to bring the family over for a night for a break. The room is spacious, the pool is great (the kids didn't wanna leave!), service by the staff is top-notch. It's by far the best hotel I've stayed in - and the bar has been set high for future hotel stays! Will definitely visit again soon (longer stay too!) The room was nice and clean.. well kept. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Due to CMCO we didnt get to use the facilities and the bar. Food was good too. There was just no toothpaste in the room which is a bit odd but not a big issue if you always carry your own toiletries. Definitely will book again.

Great Spot for a Staycation”
Serving ala carte breakfast as a safety protocol impressed me. The room was clean and well groomed. Love the coffee machine “ever ready” spot at the lift entrance to the rooms. I could just grab a cup of coffee at anytime :) Things to take note: 1) Parking rate is RM5 per entry for hotel guests :) But the turnings to the parking spots are a bit narrower than usual (quite dangerous) and the signs are a bit confusing (E.g. not sure which levels can be parked upon entrance (for hotel guests)). Need to be careful with the driving directions and turnings when you are parking in the building due to the narrow space. 2) Room soundproof: I am a light sleeper by the way. Not sure if this is normal but I heard a lot of noises in the middle of the night (E.g. banging sound from upper floor, loud impact when somebody dropped things on the floor, etc.).

More than just a hotel”
What an amazing place! We travelled with 2 young children and all of us loved this place so much. It's cozy, comfortable, and gives us a getaway holiday feel. Apart from that, the Alila breakfast at Ground Floor is just simply good. It's a simple English Breakfast done right. Most satisfying part is it provides free hand crafted coffee at each lobby on every level. This is something different from your normal 3 in 1 Nescafe. If I need to pick 1 negative, it will be the lift to get into the main lobby and rooms. Having travelled with a car in KL, we need to use 3 lifts just to get into our room. But, with all this amazing services and ambience, who cares? We can't wait to come back. Cheers.
