perfect start for first visit to Vietnam”
Alagon Western Hotel is located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, so we were able to walk to most of the major sites in minutes and were close to many good restaurants. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were excellent. Our room was small but newly painted and very clean. We would recommend this hotel to everyone and will stay here again if we return to HCMC. They have a pickup service to and from the airport that was very helpful because this was our first visit to the city. Dennis & Sutti

I have been staying in this hotel before it change name to Alagon Western several times and until now still love to stay in this hotel whenever I am back to Ho Chi Min. Mr Anthony Vo (Asst General Manager) was so prompt in reply my mail to answer all my question. The hotel staffs from Asst General Manager, reception counter, bell boy, housekeeping are very courteous,friendly and helpful, always smiling. I will definite to come back to stay in this hotel for my next trip. The buffet breakfast are good and room are clean. Lastly the location of this hotel are so good. a lot of HALAL Restaurant nearby and Ben Than market are less than 5 min walking.

Perfect location! My deluxe room was very cozy n clean. Bathroom had complete sanitary set. The room was worth the price. I didn’t take breakfast at the hotel, so can’t comment anything. You can find breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper, traditional food at anytime around the hotel. Fully recommended hotel for all travelers. Ben Thanh market, Pho 2000, Fanny Ice Cream and Trung Nguyen Café are only a few steps away. Need airport transfer? They will gladly arrange it for you. Only one flaw (for me) which the housekeeping didn’t clean used glasses in my room. But overall, Hoang Hai Long 2 Hotel is fully recommended! I’ll stay there again if I travel to Ho Chi Minh City.

This hotel is situated right in the center of everything catering to whatever a tourist or business needs.There are lots of food, ranging from Vietnamese, Japanese to Western cuisine. During the night there is lots of good nightclubing, casino and bars catering to the whims and fancies of every person in Ho Chi Minh City. Right in front of this hotel have a small restaurant selling fresh shellfish(oc) with an affordable prices.I would always go back to Vietnam and fully reccomend anybody to go there for a tour.It is a lovely country with beautiful countyside and good food and good hotels.

the hotel is very nice location is very good but the room is small.easy to get muslim food it just infront of the hotel but the price is quite expensive.for shopping is walking distant to ben than market the most popular market in city of ho chi minh expscialy vietnam silk price is quite cheap and you have to negotiate with the trader.at night its was are night market where you can buy all the souvenir from vietnam.but you have to be carefull with the beca guys the charge is very expensive.overall is are good hotel near to everywhere in ho chi minh.

Great Location & Affordable Hotel in Ho Chi Minh”
Chosen to stay in Hoang Hai Long2 as it is just 2 minutes walk to famous Ben Thanh Market. We have stayed in Hoang Hai Long 1 in our last trip & decided to stay in Hoang Hai Long2 because of the friendly staffs & nice set up of the hotel. It was very convenient for us to move around Ho Chi Ming City as the location is very centralized in the city. Even late at night, we have no problem finding food outside the hotel. The staffs are very helpful & friendly. They help to arrange for the local city tour to the Water Puppet, Cyclo & Dinner on board Saigon River cruise. The whole family is so satisfied & will plan a return trip to Ho Chi Minh. For sure, will make booking in the same hotel.

High standard buffet breakfast & prime location ”
Overall great experience with a convenient location right at the centre of Ho Chi Minh city (Sai Gon). One of the common issues in Vietnamese hotels is English proficiency of hotel staff. This does not appear to be the case for Hoang Hai Long 2 hotel. We really love having breakfast buffet, which in our view, is of a high standard. Wifi internet access is available. The hotel was very well built and the bathroom is also of a high standard. The only thing was that we had to wait for an hour or more for the room to be ready. After a long trip from overseas, this is certainly not a great experience. Despite this, the hotel is very highly recommended.

hoang hai long 2 hotel, a good choice ”
I have stayed in Ho Chi Minh City for 4 days and I must stay that my stay in the city is really good. I have no regrets in staying in Hoang Hai Long 2 Hotel because the place is really good. The hotel is quite new and the room that I have reserved is very clean and spacious enough for a couple who are staying. Food is good too especially the spring rolls. Another thing and plus point of the hotel is its strategic location. Very near shopping areas like the Ben Than Market and another night market situated just right outside the hotel. The hotel is also walking distance to major tourist destinations in the city. It would be best to walk if you are the sporty type but take note of the motorcycles hovering around.Taxis are also plenty in the area so it wouldnt be diffcult to catch a ride. I would love to book this hotel again the next time I visit Vietnam.

The beauty of this establishment is its adaptability. Whether for business, family, or Honeymoon, this Hotel creates a great and amiable atmosphere to cater to all needs and requests. I'm a repeat customer and endeavour to book whenever I have a trip (which is many times as I live in Phnom Penh)) to Ho Chi Minh City. There are literally hundreds of hotels in HCMC in this price range and having tried many others when the Hoang Hai Long 2 Hotel has been fully booked, I do always come back to the Hoang Hai Long 2 Hotel.

Alagon provide halal breakfast and halal restaurant right in front of the hotel for a muslim who interested to visit ho chi minh... Well recommended Front office team were nice and smiling... They were excellent and really concern about their guests' comfortability..

Great Location and great service”
the hotel is very near to ben thanh market, less than 50m walking. there is one halal restaurant in exactly right in front of the hotel plus they serve halal food during breakfast. the hotel only charge you extra $5/night/pax for extra person. the hotel staff is very nice and they are the only person you can trust for information. ask their advice the list of do's and dont in ho chi minh. the hotel staff help me a lot with my police report (my wallet was stolen), they even accompany me to the police station and help me dealing with the cops. luckily i have travel insurans so i can claim back the money loss.

Definately will stay at this hotel if I go to Ho Chi minh city again. We booked a double deluxe room but the hotel's staff upgraded to junior suite (without extra charges) as the room we booked were all fully occupied. If you want to go for a special trip such as Mekong Delta or Chu Chi Tunnel, you can just ask the hotel staff as the hotel has a few packages that suits you budget and requirements.

We stayed at Hoang Hai Long 2 Hotel the first time we were in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city). We liked the location, the staff, & the convenience, so stayed here again when we returned to Saigon. Returning to the hotel felt familiar, like "coming home". The hotel is within walking distance of good restaurants, & services such as eye glasses. The hotel is half a block from Cho Ben Thanh Market. We would definitely stay here again.

A nice hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City”
I stayed in Hoang Hai Long 2 Hotel only for one night. So, I may not have noticed everything. The hotel is located just a 3 minutes walk from Ben Thanh Market in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and wi-fi worked. One problem - there was no windows except of one small window in the bathroom. The breakfast was a standard buffet, nothing remarkable. In general the hotel was good, in my opinion. So, I would recommend it to anyone seeking an inexpensive hotel in the middle of HCMC's nightlife.

I was travelling with a friend and we were quite satisfied with the service once we checked-in. The breakfast was good, partly because we love all kinds of Vietnamese food. They could have provided a wider array of cuisine but what we ate during our 2 night stay was already satisfactory despite the very cheap hotel rates. What we loved most is the location. It's just a few minutes walk to some malls and restaurants and the Ben Thanh Market is just around the corner. The street right in front of the hotel turns into a night market at around 7pm onwards. This hotel is great for bargain shoppers. I would definitely check back in this hotel when I go back to Ho Chi Minh.

Good Location, friendly service”
This hotel is situated in the heart of District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City. The Ben Thanh Markets are about 50 meters down the road from this hotel. The night markets come alive every night right in front of the hotel. Hotel is new and clean and the staff are friendly. If you decide to get a room do try and avoid the rooms right next to the lift as the noise from the lift can at times get distracting. Overall good value for money.

this hotel is in a great location, close to ben than markets and lots of shops. the staff were very friendly and spoke english quite well. they were very happy to help with organising things for us to see and do whilst in ho chi minh city. our room was small, but clean and tidy. there was a wide selection of food for breakfast. builders were installing a gymnasium on the first floor just along from our room, so some noise was heard. overall, this hotel is value for money.
